Chapter 1111: Chapter 1111: Admitted
Hayley Cole stared at James Reed with glowing eyes, waiting to see how he would explain himself!
She wasn’t going to give him a chance to deny it.
She would try her best to expose his lies, and then, she could finally rid herself of this hypocrite James Reed.
What Hayley Cole didn’t expect was that James Reed smiled bitterly and nodded in admission: "That’s right, I’m the one who hired someone to stir up things online."
He... he admitted?
Hayley Cole stared at James Reed in shock; this was completely different from what she had imagined.
"Why are you doing this?" Frederick Cole’s voice was neither loud nor soft, yet it carried an undeniable authority that made the person speaking to him involuntarily tremble inside, feeling a bit weaker in momentum.
"Chairman Cole, in fact, I do have my personal motives." James Reed said with a bitter smile, "My family... you must know this too, Chairman Cole. Although I have biological parents, my grandparents and other relatives don’t acknowledge me."
"The feeling of not belonging at home, it’s the same for me as Hayley." As James said this, he looked at Hayley Cole with deep emotion.
That gaze made Hayley Cole shiver inside but made Hazel Bennett feel uncomfortable, sadly looking at Hayley Cole. Did Hayley always feel she didn’t belong?
"I truly don’t want Hayley to sever ties with you, so I came up with this idea." After James Reed finished, he awkwardly twitched his lips and said, "I have to admit, I have some personal motives. My company has just been set up, in the starting phase, and if I could utilize Hayley’s connections to make things easier, that would obviously be great."
James Reed’s statement made Jason Cole’s gaze turn sharp. This James Reed sure dares to dream!
What did he think of his father?
Frederick Cole didn’t say anything, just turned to Hazel Bennett and said, "I think it’s fine, let them go back."
Hazel Bennett nodded.
Their brief exchange was like a death sentence to Hayley Cole: "Are you crazy? You’re sending me back to suffer with James Reed! How could you be so vicious? Are you even human? Just for your own good life, you’re pushing me away. Do you even deserve to be my mother?"
Hazel Bennett bit her lip painfully, her expression complex as she looked at Hayley Cole and said, "Hayley, James this child..."
"Are you really my mom, just watching me be tormented by James Reed?" Hayley Cole wouldn’t let Hazel Bennett explain, interrupting without letting her finish a single sentence.
"The day after tomorrow, take Hayley Cole to transfer her household registration." Frederick Cole didn’t even look at Hayley Cole, but instructed James Reed.
"Okay." James Reed readily agreed and then walked over towards Hayley Cole.
"Don’t come over!" Hayley Cole backed away fearfully.
James Reed helplessly squeezed out a indulgent yet inclusive smile: "Hayley, stop this. Go back and have a good sleep. You’re also affecting your mom’s rest here."
"No!" Hayley Cole shook her head resolutely.
"Sorry, Hayley." James Reed said, then directly approached and picked up Hayley Cole in his arms.
"Ah—Let go of me! Let go of me!" Hayley Cole screamed loudly immediately, yelling at Hazel Bennett, "You useless! Aren’t you helping me? Aren’t you helping me? Do you want to see me dead?"
"James, you this..." Hazel Bennett, although being cursed by Hayley Cole, was still worried about her daughter, and stepped forward to ask.
