Eden woke up between his babies. He smiled and left to take a shower. When he was done the twins were already gone. He got dressed and left for the dining room. He took a seat in front of Shaoren. He smiled at Shaotian who was seated at the head of the table then at A-Xuan and Nansheng.
He said between bites;
"Can I use one of the rooms has a laboratory?"
Shaotian nodded and said:
"We’ll free a room, write down everything you need and we’ll have someone get it for you."
Eden smiled.
"Thanks."
Nansheng asked curiously:
"What are you going to do?"
"Something that will make the Nexus equal to magicians."
"Really?"
Eden smiled.
"Really."
"That would be amazing."
"I never thought that Nexus would become slaves to magicians once I died."
It’s true. When he was Yintang the Nexus were treated even better than magicians. They knew that without them they would be no magic, but the second he died they brought back slavery. He is the most powerful sorcerer in the universe and the Prime Nexus. That means his power flows in every Nexus. He’ll make sure that all of them have a chance from now on.
He wanted magicians and Nexus to work and help each other not one abusing the other. Once he finishes his spell they’ll have to. Since it’s a big spell and it touches every nexus it will take time and a lot of power. Nansheng could tell that Eden was upset about that, he hugged him. Eden hugged him back with a smile. He took back his hand and finished eating after peeking at A-Xuan with a smile.
Nansheng looked up feeling eyes on him. He looked at A-Xuan, he quickly glanced at him then looked down and ate in silence. He couldn’t understand why he seemed angry. When they finished eating he was about to tell him to wait but he left too fast. He ran after him and pulled his arm. A-Xuan stopped and looked at him. Nansheng took a step back when he saw the undisguised resentment in his eyes.
He asked:
"What’s wrong?"
"Why did you do that?"
He asked confused:
"Do what?"
When A-Xuan saw that he was completely obvious he pulled him to the nearest empty room. He closed the door and pushed him against the wall. Nansheng looked at him wide-eyed.
A-Xuan asked:
"Why did you hug him?"
Nansheng was stunned but he still murmured:
"He looked sad and I didn’t want him to be."
"I don’t like it. You hugging someone who isn’t me makes me upset."
He was never worried about that when it came to the twins since they’re not close to anyone physically, they don’t like their personal space to be invaded. But now there’s Eden and he saw how Nansheng’s eyes shone when he said that he would make sure they become equal.
He is the Prime Nexus and Eden is handsome so what if Nansheng falls for him? He likes him a lot and he doesn’t want anyone to be closer to him than he is. He’s been in love with him since they met and he doesn’t how long he can continue being just friends with him. The problem is that he doesn’t want to lose him but what if he confesses and he only likes him as a friend?
Nansheng felt his heart beating faster. Is A-Xuan jealous? Just this thought brought him so much happiness. He’s been having those intense feelings for him lately but he never thought A-Xuan would ever come to care for him as more than a friend. He should just make sure that he isn’t imagining this whole thing. He took a timid step forward and whispered:
"I won’t hug anyone but you anymore."
A-Xuan calmed down when he heard that. He asked:
"Why?"
He knows that he won’t answer that he has feelings for him but he still wants to know why he agreed. Nansheng looked into his expectant eyes and said with a slight blush:
"Because I would do anything for you."
He looked at A-Xuan not wanting to miss the smallest reaction.
A-Xuan couldn’t stop himself from smiling. He caressed his red cheek and said:
"I would do anything for you too baby."
He became worried when he realized what he said but he relaxed when he saw Nansheng blushing deeper. He became excited, he isn’t indifferent to him. He pulled him in his arms with a huge grin, Nansheng hugged him back with the same grin.
Minglan looked out the window when Tianlin walked out of his house. She’s been feeling frustrated since she asked the twins to train her and Tianlin. There’s this heavy tension between them and she doesn’t want to act on it. At least before she would only see him during class and that’s it but now they even drive there together. Tianlin got in the car and it moved.
The ride was in silence. Minglan walked out of the car as if her life depended on it. She walked to the man who was waiting for them and they walked to a building behind the twins’ house when Tianlin joined them. He walked behind them his eyes on Minglan. Is she that excited to see the twins? Tianlin rolled his eyes. When they arrived he looked at the large room and all the equipment. Not only are the twins the leaders but they are filthy reach, how fair is that?
He became annoyed but he listened when the man said:
"There’s a locker room with showers on your right you can change there. The masters will be here soon."
He walked behind Minglan until they reached the locker room.
Minglan pulled out her clothes and hid in the corner to get changed. Why did she expect the twins to have a man and woman locker room when they are both men? It was already a lot to be trapped in that car with Tianlin now she has to change in front of him? When she was dressed she left without looking back. She stood near the bench looking at the entrance and waiting for the twins.
She doesn’t like to be alone with Tianlin. She feels like everything is out of control. They are going to train together and they’ll be fighting together during the GE Trial. They’ll have to sleep next to each other in the woods for a few days until they kill all the Haywire Nexus and sorcerers. She has to deal with this right now. It’s not like she has feelings for him she’s just attracted to him. Why would she have feelings when she doesn’t know anything about him?
Actually, she does but it doesn’t change anything, right? Maybe they should have sex then this tension will be gone. She has to do something. Plus it’s not like she’ll fall for him just because they sleep together, despite being attracted to him Tianlin isn’t good enough for her. If Shaotian didn’t have to die he would be the perfect guy for her. She sighed thinking.
Tianlin took a seat on the bench and admired Minglan. She was wearing a short and a training bra. She looked hot and Tianlin wondered why are all the hot girls such bitches. Because of her father Yifeng, and the twins treating her like a sister Minglan became haughty. This is why he doesn’t like her, but he would be lying if he said he didn’t want to fuck her. Sometimes he has that feeling that she feels the same.
When Minglan looked at him he kept looking at her and smiled. He felt like she seemed different, he stood up and walked toward her. Minglan stayed in place even when she felt he was too close to her. He caressed her bottom lip with heated eyes. He looked up still caressing her inviting lip. When Minglan saw the heat in his eyes she felt her heart beating faster, maybe they should just do this and get it over with.
Tianlin leaned in and captured her lips. When she took a step back he pulled her close to his chest his hand tightly wrapped around her waist. The kiss was hungry and Minglan finally let go and responded just as ferociously. Why is she fighting it? Once they have sex they won’t be this tension between them, she just didn’t think it would feel this good.
Tianlin pulled back and they both looked into each other’s eyes painting. He didn’t realize until he kissed her how much he wanted this. He caressed her cheek and said:
"You’re beautiful."
Minglan was surprised by his words and she could tell that he didn’t mean to say his thought out loud. She looked away a little uncomfortable.
Tianlin tilted his head surprised. She never thought that he would see this shy side of Minglan. He turned her head and when he saw the blush on her cheeks his eyes softened and he smiled. He felt his heart beating faster. He leaned in to kiss her again, but this time the kiss was slower and sweet. Minglan wrapped her arms around his neck. They kissed for a long time until she pulled back to look into his eyes.
Tianlin asked:
"Can we meet tonight?"
"Where do you want to meet?"
Tianlin thought for a few seconds, they both live with their parents so they can’t just meet there.
"How about the Xian hotel?"
Minglan nodded, she’ll just tell her father that she is staying at a friend’s house. He always agrees to every one of her demands. When Tianlin smiled she couldn’t stop herself from smiling. Tianlin looked at her sweet smile enchanted.
They reluctantly pulled back from each other when they heard footsteps. They both forced themselves to look away when the twins entered. She walked to them and smiled. freёwebnoѵel.com

She stopped herself before finishing. Shaotian who had caught her mistake said when Tianlin approached.
"While we train you you’ll call us teacher."
They both nodded and they started their training.
Eden closed Versem with a smile. He loves it when bad people fall in love. In the original timeline, the two started their relationship like that, a couple of days before the GE Trial they had a family dinner and told their parents that they were together. Both fathers agreed even if it started with using each other. Yifeng agreed because he would do anything for his daughter and he preferred Tianlin to the twins.
The only reason Huang agreed is that his wife had died in a car accident days before and he could see a difference in Tianlin. When the police told them that Ruiqi died in a hit and run Tianlin was depressed but he became better thanks to Minglan. Huang could tell that she was the reason he became healthier and agreed. Their couple is also one of the reasons they were so popular, they were worshipped as Magicians and people felt like they were the cutest couple.
If only they knew how truly gross this whole thing was... Eden’s eyes flashed mischievously, they will. But for that, he needs to make sure that Huang’s wife Ruiqi doesn’t die, should be easy enough. After sending anonymous information to the police Eden went back to work.
Shaoren leaned back on his chair listening to the guardians talking. When the meeting of the order finished everyone left beside Huang and Yifeng. He became even more irritated when they seem to want to talk to him. Shaotian could tell that his brother was in no mood so he smiled and asked:
"What can we do for you?"
Huang smiled and said:
"We just wanted to thank you for teaching our children."
"Yes thank you for your help."
"It’s no problem."
Yifeng asked:
"Do you think they’ll be okay during the GE Trial?"
"They’ll be fine I believe they’ll become guardians."
Huang and Yifeng felt relieved hearing that, even if they can’t wait for the twins to die it would be a lie to say that they’re not the best. Huang smiled and said:
"Tianlin decided to have a celebration dinner tomorrow before the GE Trial and invited the Jian you should come to."
Before Shaotian could refuse Shaoren did.
"We’re busy."
Huang said:

The twins nodded and they left. When the door was closed Shaotian looked at his brother.
"What’s wrong?"
Shaoren met his eyes.
"It’s been a few days already and we still haven’t seen him. He spends all day in that laboratory. The only time we saw him was when he told us to sign him for the GE Trial and keep it a secret. You know he’ll announce who he is there since the whole realm watches that show."
By now they know Eden very well, he always has everything under control. The fact that he knew that he could sign up for the GE Trial even if he is known as a Nexus proves it. They checked the rules and indeed nowhere does it say that a Nexus can’t sign up. It’s redundant to put that rule since even if an owner would agree for their Nexus to sign up he wouldn’t last more than a couple of hours let alone a night.
They just have breakfast and dinner together but it’s still not enough time for Eden to think that they should spend the rest of their life together. It’s scary to think that he won’t be around them, they don’t doubt in their heart that Eden is their missing piece. But Does Eden feel the same? Shaotian sighed:
"I know that, you know I feel the same. Let’s talk to him tonight."
Shaoren nodded. He isn’t just Eden he is Yintang so they understand that he has work to do, still, they can’t let him go.
Eden decided to have dinner in his room and after taking a shower he heard a voice in his head:
*Come out discretely and meet me near the YingXan building, once you arrive enter the white car.*
Eden smiled, he put on a pajama and left. When he arrived he walked to the white car and entered.
Huang looked up from his phone and asked:
"Did you find any dirt on the twins?"
"I didn’t."
Huang asked angrily:
"You didn’t even find a single thing?"
Eden shook his head.
"Did you check everywhere?"
"They trust me and I have access to all their information. They want to change the living condition of the Nexus so they wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize that."
Huang rolled his eyes. That’s the thing with having such young leaders they want to change things that shouldn’t be. He’s glad he turned Eden into a bomb. That’s why you should always have a plan B. He ordered:
"During the GE Trial, they will be called to deal with a situation when it happens make sure to go with them. Say whatever you have to say for them to accept. Do you understand?"
"Yes."
"Leave, if anyone catches you coming back say you needed some air."
Eden nodded and left. When the white car disappeared he snapped his finger and appeared in his bedroom. He smiled at the twins who were sitting on his bed waiting for him.
"Hey."
"Hey, where were you?"
Eden glanced at Shaoren who was looking down then at Shaotian.
"I had to meet someone."
Eden sat on Shaoren’s lap and asked:
"What’s wrong Gege?"
Shaoren wrapped his arms around Eden and met his eyes. Eden caressed his cheek, he knows what they are upset about. They should just speak to him instead of keeping everything in. He had a lot to do that’s why he couldn’t spend as much time with them but he is done now. When Eden’s eyes softened Shaoren’s heart sped up. He unconsciously said:
"We missed you."
"I missed you too."
The twins smiled.
Eden looked at their smile then asked out of the blue:
"How long were you in love with Minglan?"
The twins were surprised by his question but Shaotian answered:
"We didn’t love her it was more like a crush. Every boy was in love with her and for us, she represented the kind of person each of us should’ve ended up with."
Eden asked surprised:
"Each?"
The twins share everything and they are always in sync so it’s hard to believe that there was a time when they weren’t.
The twins nodded and Shaoren said:
"Everyone always thought that Shaotian and I were too close. They felt that it was abnormal to want to share everything and always stay together. We didn’t accept who we were until our mother passed away."
Shaotian said reminiscing with a beautiful smile:
"Since we were kids she would say that Shaoren and I were the same and that we shared a soul which explained our need for closeness. She said that one day we’ll meet the person who will accept us for us."
Eden smiled, he could see the deep love the twins felt for their mother.
"I wish I had met her."
The twins smiled and Shaoren said:
"Us too."
Eden’s heart softened, even if he likes to mess with Gege it doesn’t change the fact that he loves him or them in this case. He asked:
"She was a Nexus wasn’t she?"
The twins weren’t surprised that Eden guessed, he is the Prime Nexus and he has a connection to each of them.
Shaotian said:
"She was, my father saw her at an auction and immediately fell in love. He bought her and it took him a year to gain her trust."
Shaoren explained:
"All her previous owners were abusive so she had a hard time trusting him. Eventually, she did and she fell in love and had us. People would say that the reason Shaotian and I were the way we were was punishment for a magician marrying a Nexus and treating her as an equal.
Eden frowned. Shaotian said:
"Our mother and father never cared about people talking but we did so we acted differently so they would stop despite our mother insisting that we should be ourselves."
Eden finally understood why they had feelings for Minglan. Because all the boys loved her they thought that loving her was the normal thing. Eden asked:
"How did she pass away?"
Shaoren swallowed and said:
"She was caught in a battle between two magicians and died."
Shaotian said with difficulty:
"Because she was a Nexus the magician was never prosecuted. My father took justice into his own hands and he was expulsed from the order of the GE. They couldn’t have a guardian kill another magician no matter the reason. He died just a month after our mother’s death. One day he just stopped breathing."
Eden laced his hand with Shaotian’s. He felt his heart clench in pain seeing the expression on their face. Shaoren said:
"We decided that we would do everything to become the leaders of the Order and make sure what happened to our mother never happen to another Nexus. We finally understood what our mother meant when she said that being ourselves would make us stronger. Our bond made us the best magicians in the realm and it’s the reason why we are where we are."
Eden knows that leaders can change the rules only a year after becoming the leader of the order, this is why Huang and Yifeng got rid of them before they could. They worked so hard to become leaders and before they could better the life of every Nexus they died. Eden hugged Shaoren and tightened the hold he had on Shaotian’s hand.
"We’ll make sure that what happened to your mother doesn’t happen to anyone else."
The twins smiled, they wholeheartedly believe in Eden’s words.
He stood up and got into bed, he tapped both his sides and the twins joined him with a smile. He laid down and kissed Shaotian then Shaoren. Shaotian pulled him in his arms and he felt Shaoren hug him from behind. They closed their eyes and fell asleep in each other’s arms.
