Eden turned around, he waved his hand and the candle moved breaking the blood shield. He stepped out of the circle and looked at the twins. He stayed silent waiting for them to speak. If they have questions he’ll answer but if they don’t want to know then he is fine with that. He learned not to force things in the previous universe and to just take things at is and their own time.
Shaotian stood before Eden and caressed his head.
"Are you okay?"
Eden nodded with a smile.
"Sorry I didn’t mean to wake you."
"It’s okay."
Shaoren narrowed his eyes at his brother then Eden. He stood next to his brother. Shaotian pulled back his hand, he knew his twin was angry. Shaoren held Eden’s chin and ordered:
"If you have a ritual to do call us next time."
Eden raised an eyebrow with a smile.
"Why?"
Shaoren looked into Eden’s defiant eyes. He asked with cold eyes:
"Didn’t we buy you at the auction?"
Eden’s eyes flashed with amusement but he answered expressionlessly:
"You did."
Shaoren took a step closer and asked:
"Doesn’t that mean that you’re ours?"
Both twins waited for his answer their hearts beating faster than they ever had, they felt like if Eden answered no they would lose something important. Eden felt like smiling but he didn’t, he answered seriously:
"I am."
Of course, he is theirs, not because they bought him but because they are his soulmates. He knows that they’re worried Eden will leave since now they know he is more than a Nexus and technically he doesn’t have to depend on them. He knows Gege by heart by now but he doesn’t have to worry he’ll never leave him or them in this case. He was satisfied when he saw them relax.
The twins felt better hearing that. They knew that Eden meant his words. They know everything about the Prime Nexus Yintang. They have the scroll he wrote containing his dying vision. The door opened and Nansheng came in. Shaoren let go of Eden when he asked worriedly:

When they arrived Eden was asleep because of Huang’s spell. The black magic exhausts him but despite that when he was owned by Huang he was still forced to work as a slave.
Shaoren carried him in and he remembered waking up for a few seconds and seeing Nansheng. He asked about Eden. In the original timeline, Nansheng was friends with Eden. They both lived in the other house and they grew closer. When he and the twins died Nansheng and A-Xuan who were friends with them too took it hard. Nansheng ended up being bought by an abusive magician and killed himself after A-Xuan died. Tianlin killed A-Xuan during a mission to kill a Haywire Nexus.
He killed him and pretended that the Haywire Nexus did it. They knew that he was loyal to the twins and they couldn’t have him find out how they died. Eden won’t let any of them die, they had his back now it’s his turn. So many people cared for him in this universe but they all died and suffered because of it. When you meet so many terrible people it’s hard to believe that truly good people exist but Nansheng genuinely is. He already feels like they are friends since he has those memories of this thoughtful person who was always there for him. Nansheng pulled back and smiled.

Shaotian looked at Nansheng.

He left the chamber whistling. He directly went to the council room of the Order of the Guardian of Equilibrium. He entered without knocking and looked around the vast room, the twins were seated at the head of the table. They were ten more guardians around it.
He smiled at the twins and said:
"Sorry, I’m late."
Eden crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. Technically he can’t seat around the table since he isn’t a Guardian. He’s more than fine with that, most of them are terrible.
Huang looked at the twins and frowned when they didn’t tell Eden to leave. He’s probably the help here so why would they allow him in here? He asked:
