When Shaotian and Yuan entered, the room became silent. They walked up the stairs and took a seat behind the table, on stage. Kian looked at Shaotian and he looked back. Kian felt his heartbeat quicken and looked down.
Shaotian glanced at him a bit longer and said:
"The backpack you’re being handed is the only tool you’ll have with you, for the entirety of the trial. If you use something outside of it, you’ll be disqualified. As soon as you’re on the ground, the trial starts."
Yuan said:
"If you believe that your life is in danger and need help, ask for it and someone will immediately come. It would also mean that you’re forfeiting."
When everyone had received a backpack, Yuan said:
"Let’s go to the beam pad."
Shaotian and Yuan walked to the front, followed by the recruits. Kian looked at Yuan’s back a little confused. Yuan hasn’t even looked at him once. His he that worried about people knowing about them?

He checked the map and saw one with an underground pool. He smiled, that’s perfect. Kian looked to the side when someone ran next to him.
Kian smiled at Minglan and she smiled back. She asked:
"Did you and Shaotian make up?"
When Kian looked at her confused, she said:
"It just seems that when he said to be careful, he was talking to you."
Kian chuckled.
"I doubt it, after the way I screamed at him yesterday."
Minglan looked at him surprised.
"You did?"

When they approached, he shot one in the head. It fell on two of them. Kian used that opportunity to shoot the two on the ground.
The four remainings used the power of their heavy hind leg as leverage and shook the tree violently. Kian jumped on the ground behind them and landed gracefully on his feet.
The galaxy who had turned on their tv and computer, as soon as the show started was stunned. When Kian climbed the tree, they thought he was going to hide.
But they were shocked by his accuracy. He hit them all perfectly in the head. And seeing him jump from that height flawlessly, made them gape.

Kian felt an intion coming from behind, but he kicked it in the chest and cut his head. The two others both stood on one of his sides.
They ran for him and opened their giant mouth to bite his arms. Kian jumped, and the two hit each other. He cut their head in one fell swoop and their body collapsed.
Kian looked at the bodies. He felt a surge of adrenaline in him. He’s never been in this kind of universe before, this is awesome.
Minglan who was still hiding looked at Kian in shock. The way he is fighting is like he’s been fighting his entire life.
How could an orphan find a coach who could teach him all of that? She can’t lose the first place, even less to an orphan.
When she heard a sound, she turned around and looked at an intion wide-eyed. Minglan was so focused on Kian’s fight, that she didn’t pay attention to her surroundings.
Minglan pulled out her gun, but before she could shoot, the intion hit her and her body hit a tree. She coughed up blood and wiped her mouth.
She looked for the gun and tried to get up. Before Minglan could, the intion crushed it with one hand. He looked at her with a bloodthirsty smile.
Minglan quickly looked for a booster in her bag, seeing how much her entire body ached. She was so much out of sorts and in pain, that the bag spilled on the ground.
She closed her eyes when the intions was about to reach for her, but the scratch Minglan was expecting, never came.
She opened her eyes and saw both sides of the intion, slowly falling on the ground. Minglan looked at the person who had cut him in half when it fell.
Kian walked to her and gave her his hand. Minglan’s heartbeat was all she could hear, and she felt the need to kill Kian.
Still, she took his hand and stood up. She was about to bend down but moaned in pain. Kian bent down and gave her the booster. She took it and drank it, while Kian picked up her scattered belongings.
Minglan felt like she could breathe again and stretched quickly. Kian handed her the bag and asked:
"Are you okay?"
Minglan smiled despite her anger.
"I am. Thank you for your assistance."
She felt like throwing up after saying those words.
But it’s not like she has a choice. Everyone is watching them, she doesn’t want the galaxy to hate her for being ungrateful. Kian smiled.
"Of course."
Minglan looked at him leave. She looked down, trembling. She can’t believe that loser saved her. No matter what, she’ll win this trial. Minglan walked away determinedly.
