Kian could barely hear anything while trying to find out where the abductor was taking him because his heart was beating too loud.
He was in the Guangdong Inn in his room when a man appeared and knocked him out. When he woke up he was tossed on that man’s shoulder with his hands tied behind his back and his eyes covered.
The only way he would be able to pinpoint where this person is taking him is by listening to his surrounding but he can’t even do that, he’s too freaked out. He’s been freaked out since Atlas came back to the imperial city.
From the information he received from Versem he should’ve died then Yan would’ve dealt with his father Zihang and his sister Yun after the city would be attacked by the dark mage working for them.
The timeline is all fucked up and he can’t fix it. He can’t even imagine what will happen to him when whoever his punisher the one who enslaved him discovers it.
Every day he wakes up and wonders if today is the day he’ll discover that he messed up.
How is he supposed to play his role if the timeline is in shambles? He doesn’t even know how this happened and even if he did it’s not like he has the power to change the timeline.
The worst in all of this is that since Atlas is the anomaly he’s been surveilling and caught his conversation with his father and sister. Even if Yan and his father have the dark mage they have no chance of winning, Atlas is ridiculously powerful.
At least tonight when he tries to help him and he fails he’ll die at Atlas’ hands and move on to the next nightmarish universe. Maybe he’ll be able to move on before his punisher find out that this universe was a mess.
Tonight everything will be done if he can escape this abductor right now. Despite bitting his lip tightly Kian was still crying silent tears. His wrist hurt and he’s sure he’s going to get tortured.
Hasn’t he suffered enough? He let out a whimper and a hard breath when the person tossed him hard on the floor.
Eden looked at the shadow guard furiously and wrapped his arms around his neck.
"What is the matter with you, he’s not an object ."
Atlas was stunned, Eden’s aura was murderous. Here he thought he was powerful but next to him he is weak. The shadow guard looked into Eden’s dark eyes and felt unable to breathe.
No matter how hard he tried to get out of his chokehold he couldn’t. He only felt darkness from him. They are the most powerful guards in the empire how can this young man be able to stop him?
At that moment the twins entered and looked at Eden. They were shocked by his strength and understood why he refused to bow.
Atlas held Eden’s face so he would look at him.
"Eden let him go. I understand that you’re upset but killing him won’t change anything."
Eden tossed the man against the wall and a small cry escaped his lips as his body hit the wall. Eden looked at him with disdain then knelt in front of Kian. He untied his hands then sat him up.
He took off his wet blindfold and looked into his eyes. It was clear that he had been crying and his entire body shivered in fear when he saw Atlas, the emperor, and the great general.
Kian bit his lip so tightly that he was bleeding, Atlas knows Yan’s plan so he knows that he wants to kill him. It doesn’t matter how many times and under what circumstances Kian died it’s always scary.
He looked at the man kneeling in front of him and searched in Versem to see who he is but couldn’t find him in this universe. He looked at him wide-eyed when he realized and stood up.
If he can’t find him on Versem it means that he doesn’t belong to this universe. He’s the person who enslaved him, his punisher and now he’s going to punish him because the timeline changed.
Eden stood up and said:
"It’s okay Kian I’m not here to hurt you, I’m here to help you."
Kian sobbed uncaring that Altas and the twins were there:
"I swear I’m not the one who messed up the timeline, I had nothing to do with all of this. I did my best to fix it but things kept going different ways."
Since that man enslaved him he knows that he can go back in time and make sure this moment never happened, right now he just needs to make sure he won’t punish him even more.
Eden looked at the twins and ordered:
"Caspian come forth."
A shift was felt and Yitian’s eyes closed. Atlas was stunned to see that Caspian had overtaken Yujin and put the other twin to sleep.
Eden looked at Kian who was still sobbing and said:
"Atlas is the one who changed the timeline to gain this universe’s power. We just didn’t know that another prisoner was in this universe."
Kian looked at Yitian who was asleep then between Eden and Atlas. He murmured:
"What is going on?"
When Eden took a step toward him he took a few steps back frightened. Eden stood in place and projected off of his ring what happened.
Kian looked at the projection stunned the entire time. His chest was going up and down. When he had seen everything he fell on his knees. So Colton did this to him?
Why? He’s never done anything to hurt anyone let alone deserve such a cruel punishment.
Caspian frowned, how could GOT let such an egomaniacal in charge? He made the people he was supposed to protect suffer.
Once he’s free he’ll change everything and make sure never again one person can act as he pleases. He looked at the kid on the floor. He doesn’t feel anything dark or even slightly bad about him yet he ended up in the same situation as the other.
Eden knelt in front of Kian and he looked up. Eden swallowed and said:
"I’m sorry, I was sure we had found all the prisoners."
Kian only saw guilt and sorrow in his eyes. He murmured:
"It’s not your fault you’re not the one who did this to me, you’re the one cleaning a mess that’s been made by someone else."
Eden looked at him teary-eyed and hugged him. Kian froze and after a few seconds, he hugged him back. He can’t even recall the last time someone hugged him.
Eden pulled back and promised:
"We’ll make sure you have a good life in this universe and the next time you are in Versal I’ll be able to free you from Versem’s hold and make sure you gain enough power to be free."
Kian let out a breath and more tears ran down his face. He asked:
"When I have enough power to be freed will you be able to send me back at the same moment I was taken?"
He’s sure a few days after he stopped going to the hospital they unplugged his mother.
"Of course, I’ll make sure to give you something to save your mother too I swear."
Even if they shouldn’t interfere with the timeline he doesn’t care. He owes Kian and so does GOT.

Caspian understands that Eden feels guilty and that he wants to help Kian but the chancellor acting as he wishes is the reason they are in this mess in the first place.
He looked at Kian, his wet eyes were shinning brightly and he said gratefully:
"Thank you so much."
It seems like Eden looked him up. Kian hugged Eden, when he pulled back his entire face was red and he looked away uncomfortably. Caspian sighed, he’ll let it go this time.
