Yan waited in front of the emperor’s study nervously. Usually, he was allowed to enter when he had to see him last minute but this time the guards stopped him.

Yan bowed again and left. He ran out of the palace and got in his carriage crying. They said beloved, they have never called him that before. How can they care about Atlas so much?

When Yan arrived home he sent a message to one of his students and waited for him. When Kian entered Yan scanned him.
He had wavy dark hair and a round face. His misty green eyes gave people the need to protect him. He had a slightly turned-up nose paired with full pink lips. He was supposed to meet Kian next week but he might as well put him to use now.

Kian nodded and said:

Atlas closed Versem stunned. He looked at the empress dowager who was still asleep. An hour later when she was finally free from the darkness he let go of her hand.
Atlas stood up and fell to his knees. He sat on the ground and crossed his legs. He closed his eyes and purged himself out of the darkness. When he was done his mind was finally clear.
Atlas let out a breath and opened his eyes. He stood up and left for the secret chamber the twins had made for him.
He stood near the fire and called in his head:

A few seconds later Eden appeared in front of him. Eden smiled at him but he stopped and looked at him stunned when Atlas said:
