Atlas looked at himself in the mirror. He can’t wait to finally be done with everyone so it is just him, Yuning, and Tan. He didn’t think he would like to play house but he does.
Er-Ge makes him want to do a lot of things he didn’t imagine he would ever want to do. He also makes him realize that he isn’t 18 years old anymore, at least mentally.
He kept the same mentality because he didn’t know anything better but he can’t just keep acting like he is a child. He finds it funny that Caspian is the way he is when his soul-flakes are the opposite.
He can tell he is experienced and that he’s been alive for a long time. He is naturally authoritative and there’s a calmness about him that can only be cultivated over time.
It makes him want to be more mature and show him that he didn’t make a mistake by following him from universe to universe.
He’s not going to change completely though, if Er-Ge did something wrong in a universe he’ll make him pay as usual and make him grovel.
Most of the time he deserves it and he’s always shameless so naturally, he must pay. He smiled thinking about spending their entire lives together.
Yawen looked at Yuning, he was sitting on his throne looking at the doors. His eyes flashed in anger. He’s never been this impatient to see him. What do people see in Atlas he doesn’t understand.
When the doors opened he was stunned when he saw the broad smile on his face. Atlas entered the room and walked to the thrones.
The guests couldn’t stop themselves from whispering about him, they thought that after the last time he would behave better but he is late to the ball so he doesn’t care.
Atlas walked up the stairs ignoring the dancing couples who stared at him. He was about to bow when a felt a force stop him and push him toward Yuning.
Everyone froze when it seemed like Atlas sat on the emperor’s lap. They gaped. Atlas smiled and said:
"Sorry, I’m late."
Yuning said:
"I’ll wait for you for eternity."
Atlas’ eyes softened. That man always says the sweetest things to him, it’s impossible not to love him. He leaned in and kissed him tenderly. Yuning held onto his waist kissing him back.
When Atlas pulled back he smiled. He never thought he would be this happy but he is. Atlas stood up and took a seat next to him. When he saw Yuning looking at him pouting he chuckled.
He loves that Er-Ge only acts spoiled with him. He wants to spoil him and do anything that would make him happy just like Er-ge does.
Since the beginning of their relationship, he’s indeed taken more than he’s given so he’ll be more selfless. Tan who was sitting with his brothers ran to Atlas and sat on his lap.
"You’re here."
"I am. Have you been waiting long?"
Tan shook his head. He caressed his head affectionately and then looked around the ballroom.
All the people who were staring at him immediately looked away. He rolled his eyes and looked at Tan. He asked:
"Do you want to dance?"
Tan’s cheeks flushed slightly and he said:
"I don’t know how."
"It’s okay I’ll teach you."
Yuning looked at them walking to the center with the other dancing couple with a smile. His eyes softened when he saw that Tan was standing on Atlas’ feet.
Seeing that Yawen couldn’t stop himself from shedding a tear. Not only does Yuning love Atlas but Tan does too. Even if he was open to him he felt like he only did it for Yuning but his love for Atlas is visible.
He should be the one Yuning looks at like that not Atlas. He swallowed with difficulty then quickly wiped his tears before anyone could see. He felt Xinzhi caress his back and smile at him.
Soon all the people who are getting in the way of his and Yuning’s relationship will be gone. He sent a text to the twins. After reading the text the twins looked at him and nodded.
After dancing for a while Atlas and Tan walked back to the thrones. Atlas took a seat and pulled Tan. He asked something in his ear and Tan nodded. Atlas smiled and he smiled back.
Yawen looked at the hour with a frown then walked to the throne. He bowed and said:
"Your majesty."
Yuning nodded and waited for him to say what he has to say.
"Your majesty I was wondering when I should make the announcement."
The twins only have a few minutes left until it will be impossible for them to express themselves so they need to proceed with the announcement first so the twin can propose a toast.
Yuning looked at his attendant and he gave a paper and a microphone to Yawen. Yuning ordered:
"Read what’s written word for word."

"This year’s offering is canceled."
After saying those words Yawen looked at Yuning stunned. Everyone whether at home or in the ballroom was just as stunned.
They were disappointed that the emperor planned on abolishing the tradition of the offering but they at least thought they had this year.
The twins sneered. Of course, he wants to abolish it since he doesn’t want Atlas to die. Zidong impulsive as ever sneered:
"Brother, you want to cancel this last offering because you don’t want your new lover to die right?"
Yuning said:
"I don’t owe you or anyone any explanation I’m the emperor I can do what I want. Stick to doing what you two do best procrastinating."
The twins’ eyes darkened and Zidong stood up and yelled:
"We’ll see how long you’ll be emperor!"
Everyone felt like Zidong would die today. He clearly threatened the emperor. Yawen cursed the two fools.

The twins looked at Yuning furiously. They looked at each and Chen shook his head. Zidong is too impulsive and he knows that he wants to attack Yuning but he’ll lose and they might be executed for betraying the empire.
If they are just tossed in prison for a few days they’ll still be able to poison him. Zidong looked toward the thrones and looked at Atlas standing and sitting on Yuning’s lap.
Zidong’s hands tightened into fists. When he saw Yuning lean in to kiss him he flew to him in rage.
