When Atlas opened his eyes he was kneeling in front of a massive gold and red throne. He looked down and saw that he was wearing a simple white shirt and pants. He touched his face confused.
Why is he wearing a mask? When he turned around he saw that he was in a gigantic hall. They were multiple men and women sitting on each side who seemed to be waiting for whoever their leader was.
He glanced in the middle of the aisle and saw a man with a professional camera. Atlas looked around and saw that they more people who seemed to be ready to film whatever was about to go down.
What the hell is going on? Please tell me I’m not on a reality tv show. The filming crew looked like the one you would have on those kinds of shows. He smelled the air and his nose twitched.
Those people sitting on the left aren’t human he’s sure of it. He blinked to receive this universe’s information.
This Atlas is an 18 years old human. In this universe, human cohabits with vampires. Some people would have the vampire gene and some wouldn’t. The first family to ever have the vampiric gene became the Song imperial family.
They were called the originals and ruled over the vampires and humans. The humans had to abide by the rules of the Song. Over time the vampires didn’t need to feed on humans because they had created a substitute called Ichor.
It allowed some balance back on the human’s side. Since they had to cohabitate because a human could give birth to a vampire and vice versa a royal family for the humans was named. The Yu who came from an old family were crowned.
Once it was settled the king of humans and Emperor of vampires put in place an agreement so they could cohabitate peacefully.
The Song still wanted everyone to know that they were the most powerful so they decided that the humans would have to sacrifice one human every year to satisfy their bloodlust.
They felt like they were already being generous by letting the human be governed by their king and that agreeing would show that they knew that it only happened because they allowed it.
The king of humans agreed since he felt like sacrificing one person every year was worth all the new rules the emperor would put in place.
The emperor had said that since they had Ichor they wouldn’t need to feed on humans unless they were willing and that any vampire caught drinking blood without the consent of the human would be killed.
The king knew that the vampires would follow the rules since they all feared the original family. It allowed the vampires and humans to live in peace.
As time passed the offering of the human became the most exciting thing for either the vampires or humans. The offering would be blessed for a month before its death.
He or she would be staying at the imperial palace and living a good life. He would be the guest of honor during every event that led to the sacrifice. Humans would even volunteer because they knew that death was worth living so lavishly and exquisitely. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
They would also get to be close to the originals who were seen as celebrities. The emperor meeting the sacrifice was even shown live and they would be cameras filming every event.
The offering would become the most famous person in the world during the time it led to his death so in the end humans would fight to become the offering.
When Atlas was born he was put in an orphanage. When he was four years old he was brought to the royal palace. The king of humans took him because he had no family and knew that if anything were to happen to him no one would look for him.
The king of human’s wife was a scientist, she was working on a way to isolate a vampire’s essence and attributes without having to turn a human into a vampire. She wanted to harness their power.
She needed a subject so the king picked a kid from the orphanage which ended up being Atlas. The queen had a laboratory where she would spend most of her time experimenting on him.
For years she tried but was unsuccessful. The king and queen had two sons and they became the ruler of the humans once they passed in a plane crash.
The oldest son of the king Yu Xinzhi had no interest in ruling the humans, he was a scientist like his mother so the youngest Yu Yawen was crowned king.
Xinzhi continued to use Atlas for his experiment while Yawen ruled and worked with the emperor Song Yuning. The more the king and emperor spent time together the more they liked each other.
Yawen let the emperor know that he wouldn’t be in a relationship with a vampire as long as the barbaric tradition of sacrificing a human went on. Yuning the cold and ruthless vampire decided that he would make this year’s sacrifice the last.
Despite his cold and unforgiving temperament, he had genuine feelings for Yawen. Yawen who was excited went to tell her brother but was shocked to see that he was continuing his past mother’s experiment.
Yawen had always believed that the vampires would be threatened if they knew his mother had experimented on a few of them over the years. They knew that the originals would destroy them and rule with an iron fist.
Xinzhi agreed to stop since he knew that his brother loved the emperor and got rid of all the evidence. He felt hesitant about getting rid of Atlas so Yawen said that he would become this year’s offering.
Xinzhi agreed and Atlas became the offering. Atlas who had rarely been around people let alone vampires was constantly frightened at the imperial palace and the emperor’s brothers made his life harder.
During all the events he would see Xinzhi and beg for his help but he never did. Atlas and Xinzhi had developed a relationship and he believe that he loved him. Xinzhi had feelings for him but he loved his brother more.
He lived in hell the entire time he was at the imperial palace until he was finally free and offered to the emperor. Once he died the tradition of the offering was abolished.
Quickly after the emperor and Yawen got together and made their relationship public. The emperor turned Yawen into a vampire and they lived happily for the next 900 years.
When Atlas had received all the information he felt like squealing in happiness. Now that he is free of his emotions he wants to have fun and he’ll get to play with vampires.
It’s a good thing he had a mask on since he couldn’t stop himself from grinning. What Xinzhi and his dumb mother didn’t know is that she managed to give Atlas’ the vampiric gene.

He looked at the vampire’s side of the aisle and saw two vampires with small crowns looking at him. Atlas scanned Zidong.
He had almond-shaped grey eyes that were sparkling in excitement. Zidong’s hair was dark and his nose straight. His lips carried a knowing smirk. Atlas looked next to him and was surprised to see that Zidong and Chen were twins.
His eyes flashed in excitement as he thought of everything he can do with them. He certainly learned a few things having two Er-Ge in the previous universe.
As Atlas thought about Er-Ge his eyes were impassive like the person never meant anything to him. He’ll have fun with the twins that’s for sure then destroy their close relationship.
He plans on getting revenge on them no matter how pretty they look. He’ll deal with Xinzhi and Yawen too. He looked to the human’s side and saw Yawen and XInzhi sitting in the front row.
He gazed at Yawen. He had short hair and an oval face. His eyes were round and his nose slightly turned up paired with thin lips. It would be a lie to say he isn’t pretty to look at no wonder the emperor fell for him.
The funny thing with Yawen is that everyone sees him as this white lotus. It is one of the reasons Yuning fell for him. He is the type of person who put everyone first and believe they can all live in harmony.
At least that’s what people believe of him because that’s what he shows but it’s only a facade.
Yawen is just as despicable as his father. He dreamed since he was little to rule the humans. He was lucky that Xinzhi didn’t want to or he would’ve killed him.
He knew that if the emperor fell for him he would be the most powerful person in this world. He did not doubt that he would be able to make him fall in love than control him and that’s what happened.
Since that’s what he wants Atlas will take it too. He’ll also take his brother on the way. Thinking about him Atlas looked at Xinzhi. He had short brown hair with a round face. His eyes were slanted and he had a small nose paired with thin lips.
He looked handsome with his grey suit on. No wonder he fell for him in the OG timeline. Xinzhi seemed to feel his eyes on him since he met his eyes.
Atlas’ eyes immediately started to moisten. He looked at Xinzhi accusatorily and then turned around. Xinzhi looked at Atlas stunned.
When he talked to Atlas he told him that his sacrifice would allow every other human to be safe from this cruel tradition and he said that if that’s the case he would do it.
But the way he was looking at him now was like he betrayed him. Atlas must’ve known that they would never be together in the real world. Despite thinking that he felt uncomfortable.
Atlas smiled under his mask. They threw him as an offering in a world he knew nothing about. He had never watched the offering every time it aired live so how would he know?
The only reason he stayed alive until the end is that he foolishly believed that he was saving more blood from being spilled. This has nothing to do with him and he doesn’t give a damn about the humans.
They can all die in the hand of the vampires for all he cares. As soon as he let one of those vampires bite him he’ll become the most powerful in this universe anyway.
When he heard everyone whisper and get ready to start the live feed he turned around and looked at the vampire with a crown coming in.
