Atlas checked his tablet and said to Damian who was on the piloting seat:
"All the teams have landed and entered the forest undetected. You can follow those coordinates."
Damian cloaked the ship and started his descent. Atlas stood up and went to look for the twins. He entered the commanding room and said:
"We’re about to land."
The twins followed him out. Kalel wrapped a hand around his shoulder and said:
"You seem to be in a good mood."
Even if they could feel that Atlas seemed better, this time they felt like he was truly happy. Atlas gave him a peck and said:
"I am."
Klay asked lacing his hand:
"Why?"
"Because the three of us will spend the rest of our life together."
Seeing how happy the twins looked Atlas’ eyes softened. He’ll enjoy this life with them then he’ll go back to the person he was before.
This universe was too hard and losing his father Sicheng didn’t help. He wants to be the carefree and fun person he was before he was abducted by Colton. He just wants to play with people and get revenge.
He loves Er-Ge but he loves his freedom more. Once he goes back to Versal he’ll sleep longer to make sure that he doesn’t have any residual feelings for Er-Ge and his father then he’ll turn off his feelings for good.
He was a little nervous when he asked Eden, he was sure he was going to make this whole speech about needing to go through heartache and all that bullshit but he didn’t.
It does make him trust him more since he truly has always been there for him since he was free. He’ll have fun in all the other universes until he has enough power before he dies.
He hopes Er-Ge won’t be there though. Even if he is it won’t change a thing. He’ll have fun with whoever he wants whether he likes it or not.
When the ship landed Atlas breached the shiel and once they were all on the other side he closed it again to make sure no Atrunias would be let loose.
Atlas checked Versem and then led everyone to a place in the forest. He gave them a sign to be silent once he saw the pirate’s tracker looking around.
He shot him from behind before he realized what had happened. Atlas grabbed his phone and checked it. He tossed a shovel to Evander and ordered:
"Dig the hole."
Evander gnashed his teeth in anger but still did it. It’s fine he knows that in the end, Atlas will end up it."
As Evander dug the hole, Damian, the twins, and Atlas were looking at him impatiently.
When the hole was big enough to fit a few people Evander was sweating and exhausted. Those sons of bitches watched him digging a hole on his own.
He should kill them all and toss their body in it. Atlas tossed a cube into the hole Evander had dug and the ground disintegrated. There was a perfect hole dug three times bigger than the one Evander had dug.
Evander looked at Atlas furiously.
"If you had this machine why did you make me do all of this?"
Atlas smirked:
"Because I felt like it."
Evander’s hands tightened into fists. How did he never see how disdainful Atlas is? He looked at the twins and Damian thinking they might say something but they seemed amused by Atlas’ response.
He took a breath to calm down, this will be done soon. Damian asked:
"Did you send a message?"
Atlas nodded.
"I did I told Darius to bring the whole crew or he’ll never be able to get us both."
Damian smiled mischievously and Atlas smiled back.
Kalel and Klay put a long invisible film above the hole and it disappeared. Evander felt confused about how it worked so he asked:
"How does it work?"
Atlas answered:
"The film takes the propriety of whatever it is surrounded by. It works like a one-way door once you fall you won’t be able to get out. Nothing will be able to pass through."
Evander asked:
"Can you change the propriety like make it so you can come back once you’re on the other side?"
Atlas shook his head.
"You can’t once you’re in there’s no way out."
"What if someone takes the film off?"
Atlas answered:
"They can’t but it’ll disintegrate in two weeks."
Evander nodded thoughtfully. As soon as he pushes Atlas inside he’ll have no way out it’s perfect. He’ll just wait until they deal with the pirates then he’ll end him.
He was about to smile at Atlas but he wrapped his hand around his neck and tossed him in the hole. Evander screamed as he fell and hit his head. His entire body felt soar and he felt like his leg was broken.
He touched his head and saw that he was bleeding. He tried to stand up on his injured leg but couldn’t and howled in pain. After standing on the good leg he looked up at Atlas and asked astonished:
"Why would you do that?"
Atlas smiled.
"Isn’t that what you had planned for me? I figured I’ll do it first."
Evander felt his heartbeat quicken but he said:
"Of course not I would never do that to you. How can you think that when you’re my best friend?"
The twins couldn’t stop themselves from sneering. Atlas’ eyes flashed in amusement as he looked at them. He looked at Evander again and asked:
"So you and your father making me drink truth serum then making sure I was caught by the pirates was what? You being my best friend?"
Evander knew at that moment that he was screwed. He thought then said:
"Atlas I swear it was all my father’s doing I never wanted to do that. I love you, I’ve loved you since we were kids."
When he saw Atlas looking at him stunned then looking unsure he continued:
"Why do you think I signed up at the academy? All I’ve ever wanted was to be close to you."
Atlas’ eyes softened and he knew he had him.
"That day on the pirate ship I was scared to tell you but I love you."
His erratic heartbeat slowed down when he saw the gentle smile on Atlas’ face and he smiled back at him. His smile quickly faded when Atlas’ burst out laughing. He looked at him confused.
Atlas looked at the twins and said:
"Er-Ge did you hear that? Evander never liked you."
The twins smiled in amusement and Klay said:
"It’s fine you’re the only one that we want. You’re our soulmate."
Atlas kissed them both then said:
"And you’re mine."
Atlas felt his heartbeat quicken seeing the pure joy in their eyes. How can that man still makes him feel?
He turned around and looked at Evander.
"I killed your father and now I’m going to kill you."
Evander looked at him wide-eyed.
"You did? I thought the pirates did."
Atlas shushed him and Evander saw him and the rest disappear. He screamed:

He kept screaming until he saw multiple men fall into the hole. When he saw their clothes he immediately knew they were pirates. He was about to pull out his blaster but couldn’t find it.
Evander started to panic. He has a broken leg and he is stuck here with 30 pirates god knows what they’ll do to him.
Darius stood up furious and looked around. His eyes immediately landed on a corpse. After turning it he saw that it was his scout. He cursed and his eyes fell on someone with a military uniform.
He walked to him and Evander backed out as much as he could but he was still caught. Darius held him by his shirt and asked furiously:
"What is the meaning of this?"
Evander answered in a trembling voice:
"It’s all part of Atlas’ plan."
When Evander looked up he did and his eyes landed on Atlas. He tossed Evander against the wall and looked at Atlas. When he saw the smirk on his face he pulled out a blaster to shoot but nothing was going out of the hole.
He looked at Damian and called:
"Lex?"
Damian immediately said:
"Father?"
Darius’ eyes lit up. He knew his son wasn’t gone.
He was about to tell him to help him when he heard Atlas say to Damian chuckling:
"Brother that was mean."
He looked at Damian and saw his mocking smile. His eyes darken and he howled:
"Get me out of here or I’ll destroy everything you care about including your friend here."
Atlas opened a bottle and poured it into the hole. They all took a few steps back to avoid being wet. When he was done he said:
"You can destroy him he’s not my friend but don’t worry even if you don’t the Atrunias on their way will."
Atlas smiled sadistically and they disappeared again. Not even thirty seconds after they were gone Atrunias started to fall into the hole and ripped the pirates and Evander apart.
Once they were all dead Atlas and the twins killed the Atrunias in the hole and went to finish their mission. Once all the Atrunias were eradicated they left for the ship.
Atlas appeared in Versal 400 years later and closed his eyes as he felt the power pouring in. He fell asleep and woke up 200 years later. He called:
"Eden?"
Eden appeared in front of him. He smiled.

Atlas smiled.
"Hey. Do you remember what we talked about last?"
Eden nodded.
He floated close to him and put his two fingers on each temple and they both closed their eyes. When Eden was gone he floated back a little and asked:
"How do you feel?"
Atlas let out a breath and he opened his eyes with a smile.
"Free."
Eden smiled. He said:
"There’s one thing though."
"What is it?"
Eden said:
"You’re feelings will come back naturally if you want to."
"What do you mean?
"Your emotions and feelings will come back automatically if you feel a need for them."
Atlas nodded. He’ll never feel like he needs them so he’s not worried about that. He smiled and said:
"Thank you for your help."
Eden smiled.
"Sure. I’ll let you get back to it."
Once Eden disappeared the polite smile Atlas had put on disappeared and he looked at the planets expressionlessly. He felt drawn to a purple one and floated to it. He reached out and disappeared with a bloodthirsty smile.
