Chapter 1676: Complex Plan
"So you are leaving?" Indie asked, holding Kent’s hand.
After inheriting the underworld empress’s authority, her presence now radiated absolute power. She appeared more powerful and exuded the aura of royalty.
"Yes, I have to leave before the Resentful Race, Undead Race, and Abyssal Race sense my presence," Kent laughed. "I didn’t expect I would recover my memories this early. Most importantly, I never expected that I was also the one who killed your subordinates."
He studied Indie’s expression, and when he saw no anger in her eyes, he sighed in relief. "I am sorry for that, Indie."
"Don’t worry, Kent. I am sure you had a reason for your actions." She reached out and planted a kiss on his forehead. "While it would have been nice to return and meet them still alive, I am not mad that they aren’t here anymore."
Kent smiled and nodded. While Indie clearly missed her subordinates, because of her relationship with Kent, she chose not to get angry.
If it had been someone else, she would have already started planning to avenge them.
He said nothing since he wanted to give her space to process things.
"Focus on your breakthroughs, Indie. The last time I was here, I reinforced the seal so that no one from outside the underworld could enter during this critical moment. When you are done, return with Nyx to meet the rest of her sisters."
Indie nodded. After sharing a kiss, she turned to Zeraphine. "We will catch up when I return to the land of the living."
Zeraphine smiled and nodded. She never knew that one of Kent’s wives was the Empress of the Underworld, whom Nyx had talked about during the five days’ wait while Kent was undergoing his undead evolution.
Now, it seemed she had another thing to be surprised about.
"Tell Miryssa I left. I am sure the reason she is not here is that she is having a good time in the garden."
"Yes. She said she can break through to the Extreme Ice stage."
"That is good, then. I will leave her in your care."
After Kent shared another kiss with Indie, she opened a portal for him and Zeraphine to return to the land of the living.
"See you soon, Indie."
With a wave, Kent and Zeraphine walked through the portal, and it closed behind them.
"See you soon, Kent."
Indie stood there for a few minutes before walking back to her cultivation space. After making sure she had everything in place, her voice spread throughout the underworld, reaching the thirteen rulers.
"I will open the seal three minutes from now. Use this time to break through and unlock your true authorities as Underworld Kings and Queens. Once everything is over, we will meet again to plan the future of the underworld."
A few minutes later, the seal broke, and they all felt a weight lift from them. Indie planned to let them reach their peak first before allowing the others to go through the same process.
She wanted them to gain their true authorities first so they could control their respective layers.
Soon, powerful auras began to appear throughout the underworld.

[Three Deadly Enemies] ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
Meanwhile, deep within the Resentful Kingdom, hidden beneath the River of Styx, a man with six eyes and six arms, his body covered in countless tattoos, slowly opened all his eyes.
A wave of power so vast and unfathomable spread from his body. Each eye contained enough power to suppress entire galaxies.
This man was the King of the Resentful Kingdom, King Ossaki, the first resentful spirit to gain the power of the Dao. His strength existed on an entirely different level.
"Hmmm, looks like she has returned," King Ossaki muttered, a grin forming at the corner of his lips. "Since you have returned, it won’t be long before the seal that madman placed around the underworld breaks."
He tapped the armrest of his throne and chuckled.
"All in due time, Underworld Empress. All in due time."
Clearly, he sensed nothing of his true enemy, the Bone Lich Undead Emperor. If he had, he would have already mobilised an army to forcibly break the Underworld Seal.
And he wasn’t the only one.
Far within the Undead Realm, a man with pale white skin and a bone-like skull also smiled as he stood atop a mountain that pierced through the clouds.
His name was Undead Monarch Hagan.
Nobody truly knew how the Undead Realm came into existence. However, from what had been observed during the Undead War, only those who cultivated the power of death could truly kill them.
In most cases, unless they killed themselves, death was not something they feared. Unlike many necromancers who could lose their undead to divine powers, they are immune.
It was one of the main reasons even the Divine Temple, the Church of Light, and other powerful organisations had been powerless against them.
They are undead, but on another level.
Undead Monarch Hagan smirked.
"I have waited so long for your return, Underworld Empress. The last time we met, you chose to break the code and aid the living. For that, your death is inevitable, and when it happens, you will never be able to return from the dead again."
As someone who ruled the vastness of the Undead Realm, his power surpassed even that of Pandora.
Yet despite his strength, he also failed to sense the return of his one true enemy.
The same was true for Abyssal Monarch Morona, the person Kent planned to kill this time around, no matter what.
After the first Abyssal Monarch, Sir Madok, left for the Primal Chaos and never returned, she took control of the Abyssal Realm to rule over all nine kingdoms.
After all, she was Sir Madok’s firstborn.
It was also one of the reasons Sanders went there to search for Sir Madok. He believed he could trust her to help him find his benefactor, her father.
However, what he encountered was an attack from three sides—a betrayal he never forgot and would repay in due time.
"By now, those two bastards are probably planning to invade and plunder. I’d better be ready when they make their move."
She grinned evilly despite being one of the most beautiful women in the Abyssal Realm.
Her golden skin, golden eyes, and golden hair made her appear beautiful and, in some ways, angelic.
For her to grin so wickedly, it was only fitting that she was ranked among the most evil powerhouses of the three realms.
"Though I wonder why I feel a bit uneasy. The only time I felt this way was when that bastard broke his third seal and unleashed his death powers."
An image of a furious red-haired half-elf appeared in her mind.
"Don’t tell me he has also returned."
Her body shuddered, but she quickly collected her thoughts and sighed.
"I will face him when the time comes."
Unbeknownst to these three individuals, the person they planned to attack had long since sensed their malicious intentions and was already preparing to welcome them.
However, because they were focused on the underworld, they failed to realise that the true danger was the man who had just appeared on a planet somewhere within the Immortal Realm.

[Planet Fiamha - Chaos Star System]
Kent and Zeraphine appeared in front of a river so vast that, as far as their eyes could see, there was nothing but water.
Kent quickly activated his [Omniscient Jade Eye] to scan the planet and identify its name.
"Planet Fiamha, huh?"
Zeraphine’s body trembled at the mention of the planet’s name.
Seeing this, Kent asked, "Do you know this planet?"
She nodded and answered, "It is my home planet. This is where that bitch lives."
"Then let’s pay her a visit and make sure she stops breathing for good."
