The headmaster invited Zhao Rong and his companions into the Magic Academy. "Esteemed guests, you’ve come from afar," he said. "Please come in and rest your feet."
Zhao Rong nodded his thanks, following the headmaster farther inside. "Your Magic Academy is certainly unique, being built in such a desolate place."
The headmaster smiled and explained to Zhao Rong, "If our Magic Academy were in the middle of a city, we wouldn’t be able to unleash the full power of magic. Only out here, in a desolate location, can we let the students practice without reservation and truly master their skills."
Lili stepped forward and asked curiously, "Headmaster, how many students do you have here?"
"Not too many, but not too few either. About 10,000," the headmaster told her.
When the assistant heard that this unassuming Magic Academy housed 10,000 students, his eyes widened in amazement. "Headmaster, your academy may not look large, and it’s in such a remote location, yet so many students are drawn to study here by its reputation. It seems your academy is truly formidable."
However, before the assistant could finish speaking, the headmaster gestured to the five protectors behind him. "Drive this man out," he commanded. "He injured two of my students at the entrance just now."
After giving the order, the headmaster turned back to Zhao Rong and the three women. "Our Magic Academy welcomes this young man and these three ladies. But we do not welcome this brute, because he injured two of my students at the gate."
Upon hearing the headmaster’s instruction, the five protectors politely addressed the assistant. "We apologize, but the Magic Academy has a rule: anyone who injures one of our students is not permitted entry. Please wait patiently outside the gate. The young man and the three ladies will be following the headmaster to a feast."
When the assistant heard that Zhao Rong and the three women were going to a feast while he was being kicked out to wait, cold and hungry, he seethed with resentment. "This is completely unfair! Why do Zhao Rong and the ladies get to go to a feast while I have to wait out here, shivering and starving?"
A protector, ushering him out of the academy, explained, "You can only blame yourself for injuring our students. Therefore, our academy does not welcome violent individuals like you."
Listening to the protector’s words, the assistant pondered for a moment before a sudden realization hit him. He muttered to himself, "No wonder. No wonder Brother Zhao Rong had me deal with those two students at the gate. At first, I thought he was giving me a chance to shine. It turns out he knew the academy’s rules all along! Lili laughed. "You’re so clever, big brother! If you had been the one to injure those students, you’d be the one standing outside in the cold right now, and the assistant would be in here feasting with us."
Curious, Yu Lan asked, "Brother Zhao Rong, how did you know about that rule?"
Zhao Rong smiled at her. "When we arrived at the Stone Village Magic Academy, I saw a notice hanging on a nearby wall. Didn’t you see it?"

After his brief explanation, Zhao Rong and the three women joined the headmaster, indulging in the various delicious main courses, fruits, ice creams, desserts, and cakes in the cafeteria.
After everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, the headmaster warmly arranged dormitories for Zhao Rong and his group of four, saying, "Our Magic Academy has a rule.
