Chapter 2291: Chapter 2292: The Big Misunderstanding (Part 2)

An Baobei chuckled, "I’m not looking for anyone; I’m here to deliver a package."

As she spoke, An Baobei handed the already wrapped calligraphy piece to the old man.

The old man looked down at the recipient information on the package. Just then, An Baobei noticed a black luxury car pulling up to the gate.

Upon seeing the person in the car, the old man quickly ran over, respectfully smiling, "Young Master, you’re back! By the way, Young Master, there’s another package for you."

An Baobei was startled in her heart. Could it be that the young master the old man referred to was ’One Person’?

As soon as Li Junlin got out of the car, the luxury car drove off again, with the driver moving it into the garage.

Li Junlin glanced at the package in his housekeeper’s hands, about to say, ’As usual, have it sent to E City for Ning Shao,’ but before he could speak, his gaze caught sight of a somewhat familiar-looking woman watching him from afar, prompting him to frown and ask, "Who is she?"

The housekeeper replied, "The courier. It’s this package."

Upon hearing this, Li Junlin was greatly shaken inside. He remembered who the woman was! No wonder she seemed familiar!

Seeing that Li Junlin had noticed her, An Baobei decided not to hide anymore. She walked over confidently and smiled, "One Person, didn’t you say you were so ugly you couldn’t meet people? Now that I see you, you’re not ugly at all, actually quite handsome, but just too thin, making one feel your health isn’t great."

Li Junlin, already having a frail body, didn’t address this point but instead asked blandly, "Why are you here?"

"I was curious about just how ugly you were, so I came to see. But turns out, you’re not ugly at all. Originally, I didn’t plan on talking to you face-to-face; I just intended to take a look at you and leave. Who would’ve thought we’d meet by chance and you’d see me, leaving me no chance to hide." She paused with some disappointment, "You don’t seem very happy to see me."

"Mm." Li Junlin admitted directly. His friend had told him he only needed to receive the package and wouldn’t agree to meet her, yet here she was, and they met, and he didn’t want to pretend to be someone else. But he couldn’t avoid it.

An Baobei was suddenly unsure of what to say, mulling over whether she should just leave. After all, he didn’t seem happy to see her.

Before she could say she wanted to leave, he reached out a hand to her, "Hello, let me formally introduce myself. I’m Li Junlin, and now that we’re not online, you don’t have to call me ’One Person’."

Despite being secretly fond of his friend, he decided to continue helping him, even if he was very unhappy.

An Baobei, who had been in modern times for over two years, was still conservatively dressed but had come to accept handshakes. Seeing Li Junlin reach out to her, she quickly shook his hand and laughed, "You don’t need to use my online name either; my real name is An Baobei."

After the handshake, Li Junlin walked towards the villa, speaking neither warmly nor coldly, "Come in."

An Baobei noticed that Li Junlin didn’t seem very pleased. She hadn’t planned to go inside, but before she could decline, Li Junlin advanced first. She pursed her lips before following him inside.

"Housekeeper, tend to Miss An. I’m going up to change clothes." Once in the living room, Li Junlin headed upstairs, instructing the housekeeper to take care of An Baobei as he went.
