An Jing, An Baobei, Su Changyi, Su Haoyu, and Su Chengyu never expected that Ning Zihan had witnessed his mom on his dad’s bed with another man when he was a child. It’s no wonder Ning Zihan was so traumatized that he began to hate women. Everyone truly understood now.

This knot was because An Baobei was genuinely hurt by Ning Zihan, and An Jing did have a premature birth. The two little babies, Su Mo and Su Xing, had really spent five months in the incubator and were still very tiny.
Ning Wuze continued, "If Wen Xian weren’t marrying into your family, whether you hated my son or not wouldn’t be a concern for me. But since Wen Xian is marrying into your family, and Zihan, her older brother, has always been very good to her, I don’t want you to hate Zihan like that. Understanding that Ning Wenze didn’t want Ning Zihan to know about what he’d just said regarding those past events, An Jing and the others caught on and smoothly transitioned back to discussing the wedding plans.
Ning Zihan opened the door and entered the private room. Although the discussion seemed lively and pleasant, he sensitively sensed that something was off about the atmosphere. However, he couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was, so he chose not to ponder on it. He took his seat without saying a word and picked up his chopsticks to continue eating.
Occasionally, Ning Wuze and Ning Wenxian would ask for his opinions on the wedding arrangements, to which he’d just give a cursory response.

It was his sister’s wedding, and since she was pregnant, Ning Zihan naturally had to protect her from drinking too much.

Upon entering her parents’ suite, she saw that her dad was not drunk at all but was sitting on the sofa with her mom feeding her brother and sister. She laughed, "Dad, weren’t you supposed to be drunk? How come you seem perfectly fine?"
