Chapter 707: Chapter 705: Glorious Marriage [2nd Update]

Subsequently, everyone started counting, and Sophia Bennett squatted beside Liam Spencer and reminded him, "Third Young Master, please be careful, Seven has a little one in her belly!"

Liam Spencer looked up at Sophia Bennett, the smile on his lips both helpless and blissful, at least he was closer to Maya Spencer.

Liam Spencer usually worked out, so 30 push-ups weren’t a big deal for him, but with Seven Murray sitting on his back, it was a bit exhausting.

After finishing the push-ups, Liam Spencer was just about to swing his arms to relax, but Sophia Bennett grabbed him, saying to the girls, "Ladies, step aside; the Third Young Master is going to meet the bride."

The crowd cleared away, and Sophia Bennett pulled Liam Spencer into the bedroom, immediately instructing, "Liam Spencer, quick, pick up Maya. If you drop her, she won’t marry you today."

At this moment, Liam Spencer finally understood why Sophia Bennett didn’t let him swing his arms earlier; she was waiting for this moment to have him hold Maya with trembling hands.

In the bedroom, Liam Spencer stood in a red outfit in front of Maya Spencer, watching her quietly sit on the large bed, his heart pounding wildly.

Not seeing Maya for three days felt like three years apart, although he hadn’t seen her face yet, Liam was already captivated by her figure.

He knelt on one knee in front of Maya, gently holding her fair hand, and said, "Honey, I’m here to take you home."

"Mm-hmm!" Maya nodded vigorously, holding his big hand, still feeling him trembling.

"Liam Spencer, hurry and pick up your bride," Sophia Bennett urged.

Liam Spencer took a deep breath, and with a "whoosh," he scooped Maya up in a princess carry and whispered in her ear, "Honey, hold on tight to me."

"Okay!" Maya answered sweetly, wrapping her small hands tightly around his neck, leaning against his chest. She always felt so safe in his arms.

Maya was light, and even though Liam’s arms weren’t as strong as usual, holding Maya was more than easy.

After a final bit of delightful chaos, Mother Bennett announced that the auspicious time was near, and it was time to head out.

At this moment, Christopher Scott and the others quickly exited the bedroom, waiting at the door for Maya.

"Liam Spencer, it’s about time, you can start carrying Maya out," Mother Bennett reminded from the side.

"Ladies, everyone match the license plate numbers with the vehicle and head to the hotel," Sophia Bennett said into a microphone, managing the arrangements as she busied herself, forgetting she was the bridesmaid.

"Honey, I really want to see you," Liam said, holding Maya and whispering softly in her ear.

Maya smirked and said earnestly, "Not yet, Auntie said you’re only allowed to lift it during the ceremony."

"Honey, you’re so beautiful," Liam said as he carried Maya out the door, whispering sweetly to her.

Moments later, Liam carried Maya to the villa entrance, and to everyone’s surprise, Christopher Scott, Asher Norton, and the others had brought over a grand sedan chair covered in flowers; this made the other girls envious, while Sophia Bennett even clamored that she must have a Chinese-style wedding with a sedan chair.

Held in Liam’s arms, Maya peered through the gaps of the veil to see Christopher Scott and the others.

She saw them all dressed in medieval court attire, standing beside the bright red sedan chair, and it dawned on her what Liam meant by heavy lifting.

Hudson Moore saw Maya being carried down and immediately reached out his right hand, pinching her cheek through the veil, saying, "Sister-in-law, our brothers are really carrying you home in an eight-seater sedan, so you have to pamper us in the future."

"Mm-hmm!" Maya nodded happily.

Asher Norton suddenly darted over and quickly took Maya from Liam’s arms, "Third Brother, you must be tired of carrying her, let me carry her for a while."

Before Maya could react, Asher Norton had whisked her away.

Maya gently wrapped her small hands around Asher Norton’s neck, "Asher, hurry and give me back to Liam, I don’t want to be your wife, I’m Liam’s wife."

"Sister-in-law, this is nothing, we’ve prepared a good show for you this afternoon," Asher Norton said with a mischievous grin.

Just as he finished speaking, Maya was passed over to Lucas Shaw, then to Xavier Graham and Christopher Scott, and finally to Hudson Moore.

Maya was passed around, leaving her dizzy and thinking, these mischievous guys can really fool around.

Liam watched their antics, laughing and crying at the same time, hurried to the front of the sedan chair, waiting for Hudson Moore to bring his wife over.

Hudson Moore held Maya, grinning and asked, "Sister-in-law, do you think if I throw you over, Third Brother can catch you?"

"Hudson Moore, if you drop me, I won’t introduce you to any brides," Maya said, clutching Hudson Moore’s neck tightly, afraid that he might actually drop her.

"Sister-in-law, you have to trust Third Brother, even if I throw you into space, Third Brother can catch you."

Maya, feeling overwhelmed by their teasing, almost wanted to cry; she wasn’t a bride, she was a complete puppet doll.

Just then, Hudson Moore shouted, "Third Brother, catch her."

Subsequently, Maya was thrown by Hudson Moore, her little heart almost leaping out, silently praying that Hudson Moore wouldn’t miss, and Third Brother had better catch her, otherwise this wedding memory would be too painful.

Liam stood in front of the sedan chair, watching Maya being thrown over by Hudson Moore, took a deep breath, raised his hands, and with a "whoosh," accurately caught Maya.

In the moment she landed in Liam’s arms, Maya felt like she was dreaming, the previous scene had been so thrilling.

At this point, she even wished to be tossed a few more times.

"Maya, were you scared?" Liam asked, holding her tightly and concerned.

"It was so thrilling."

"Little one, let’s get you into the sedan," Liam said carefully bending down, Josiah Bennett stood by, gently lifting the sedan’s curtain, with his left hand shielding the sedan’s entrance to prevent Liam from bumping Maya’s head as he set her down.

After being placed in the sedan by Liam, he leaned in, planting a kiss on her chin, and then another through the red veil on her lips.

Maya’s little hands clung tightly to his neck, not wanting to let him go. She loved the feeling of being held by Liam, it made her feel safe.

"Little darling, no rush, Third Brother has given himself a month of wedding leave, you’ll want to escape after seeing him for a few days," Christopher Scott said, opening the sedan curtain, grinning wickedly.

"Maya, dear, we have to go now, the sedan will carry us to the villa entrance where we’ll get in the car," Liam said, his hand gently caressing her cheek.

Having been apart for a whole three days, the couple had only just seen each other, yet now had to be apart again; neither wanted to leave the other’s side. But getting married was a big deal, they had to stick to the customs.

"Third Brother, I love you!" Maya whispered a heartfelt confession in Liam’s ear, reluctantly letting him go.

"I love you too," Liam replied, holding her small hand as he slowly retreated from the sedan.

Soon after, the sedan was gently lifted, and Maya sat steadily inside, her mind blank, only knowing that she was so happy, only knowing that she had a grand and glorious wedding, only knowing that after today, everyone would know that Liam is hers.
