A bodyguard at her side, knowing his cue, placed a phone into her hand with both of his.
Lai Yu Yao tapped the screen a few times, then raised the phone to her ear and said, "As of today, no one is permitted to have any more business dealings with Qi Shulei’s family."
Without waiting for a reply, she hung up the call,
then placed the phone back into the bodyguard’s hands.
She then looked at Qi Shulei with a smug smile and said, "You should think about your own status before you speak to me."
"Don’t think I can’t do anything to you just because you’re from a rich family."

her father replied.
"How dare they? Don’t we have signed contracts with all of them?"
"If they screw us over like this, they’re in breach of contract."

"What good will that do?"
"Our cash flow can’t survive a protracted legal battle."

Her father sighed and said, "You need to come home right now. I don’t know who you offended, but I’m worried they won’t stop here."
