Lucien drowsily opened his eyes. Everywhere was blurry, as his vision tried to capture the images.
But the images were unfamiliar, and this caused him to instinctively stand up. His vision became clear.
The last scene before he lost consciousness rushed into his mind.
His expression turned ugly as he creaked his fist together.
She had truly followed him. If she did, then what about the rest?
Before he could think further, a cold and emotional voice disrupted his thoughts.

A translucent screen materialized in front of him, faintly glowing like polished glass with a soft, silvery tint. It was thin enough to see through, but text and symbols floated on its surface in crisp, pale letters.
The edges were smooth, unadorned, and the whole panel hovered quietly at eye level, following his gaze.
Lucien was amazed; his breath quickened in excitement.
He knew legends about the system but never thought they had really existed.
Well, speaking of which, if a cultivation world could exist, then the same should be true for a system.

Lucien glanced at the notification because a name caught his attention.
The more he read, his body shook. Not in excitement, but in helplessness.
He now realised partially what the system entailed.
Obsessive Gacha System.
All strength left his body; his body slumped to the bed. His future seemed bleak.
How the hell would he invite more trouble?
Make Seraphina Drax more obsessive with him?
Hell no. Lucien gritted his teeth and shook his head.
There had to be another way. He calmed himself down.

Lucien’s heart pounded. This was it. He clicked "Yes."
The translucent screen shifted. A new panel replaced the status window — a circular emblem, like a wheel of fortune, with seven slots glowing in faint gold and crimson. At its center, a single button pulsed with light: PULL.
Below the emblem, a counter displayed the number of available tickets.
And below it was a note.
