Chapter 471: Chapter 433: Elias Lennox’s Final Destination

Elias Lennox lay on the deck, a spent force.

He gazed at the last sliver of sunset in the sky and chuckled. "Junior Sister, I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?"

Aurora Sinclair walked over slowly. Looking at his blood-soaked body, she said in a conflicted tone, "The good news."

"The good news is, the killer is about to die, and you’ve finally destroyed The Shadow." A familiar, playful look was on Elias Lennox’s face, but the bright red blood at the corner of his mouth was jarring.

Aurora Sinclair moved quickly, pressing several major acupoints on his body, but she still couldn’t stop the vitality from draining out of him.

Elias Lennox coughed a few times, more blood spilling from his lips. He seemed to use all his remaining strength to smile. "Aren’t you going to ask about the bad news?"

Aurora Sinclair pressed her lips together, watching him.

Elias Lennox continued on his own, "The bad news is that your most handsome senior brother and the Elias who loves you most are also about to die."

Aurora Sinclair’s fists suddenly tightened. "Aren’t you Elias?"

Elias Lennox’s gaze was beginning to lose focus, but he kept smiling. "Junior Sister... I’ll tell you a secret... Don’t tell my mother... I’m the dominant personality..."

His smile slowly widened, and he reached out his hand as if to grasp something.

Aurora Sinclair immediately took his hand and replied calmly, "Okay..."

Elias Lennox’s smile grew even brighter. He squeezed her hand with all his might, then his grip loosened, and his arm fell to the side.

"Master..."

Centipede crawled toward them with great difficulty, his eyes filled with tears.

Only then did Aurora Sinclair see the face beneath Centipede’s mask—the weather-beaten face of a middle-aged man.

His eyes were full of heartache, as if the person before him were his own child.

Aurora Sinclair lifted Elias Lennox and placed him in front of the man.

Centipede cradled Elias Lennox with trembling arms, overcome with grief. He looked up at Aurora Sinclair and pleaded, "Miss Sinclair, the Shadow Master loved the sea. Can he be laid to rest here?"

"Yes."

Aurora Sinclair transferred some of her vitality to him, then watched as Centipede forced his battered body to prepare Elias Lennox’s remains.

Then, he set the body alight.

The raging flames seemed to consume the darkness, burning fiercely.

In the firelight, Elias Lennox’s smiling face gradually turned to ash.

Centipede wiped the corner of his eye, pulled an envelope from his clothes, and handed it to Aurora Sinclair.

"Miss Sinclair, the Shadow Master asked me to give this to you."

His gaze was lifeless, like a soulless shell carrying out his master’s final order.

Aurora Sinclair froze.

Centipede quickly thrust the letter into her hand, then turned and plunged into the sea of fire.

He roared, "The Shadow lives forever!"

Aurora Sinclair’s eyes flew open. She raised a hand to draw seawater to douse the flames, but he was already burned beyond recognition.

She stared blankly at the letter in her hand, speechless for a long time.

Suddenly, she clenched the letter, her grip so tight that her fingertips turned white.

’He lied to me again...’ ƒreewebɳovel.com

’This was all just a ploy to lure me here, to make me kill him with my own hands...’

With Elias Lennox dead, The Shadow Organization fell apart like a pile of loose sand.

Using the computer Elias Lennox left behind, Alvin Morgan found a list of The Shadow Organization’s members, hideouts, and assets.

The operation to eliminate The Shadow began.

「The International Penitentiary」

Aurora Sinclair met with Mrs. M, who was dressed in a prison uniform.

She looked haggard and much older than usual, her eyes burning with hatred as she spat the most vicious words:

"Aurora Sinclair, you will get what’s coming to you! The gods will spit on you and deny you peace for all eternity! I curse you! May all the suffering my son endured be visited upon your children and your children’s children... Hahahaha..."

The Regulator escorting her turned pale and moved to gag her, terrified of angering Aurora Sinclair.

But Aurora stopped him and asked Mrs. M with perfect calm, "Elias Lennox gave me a final letter. Would you like to see it?"

Mrs. M’s crazed eyes faltered for a moment before she snarled, "I won’t fall for your tricks! When my master comes out of his seclusion, he will personally come to take your life! You dared to kill his most outstanding son. He will not spare you..."

Aurora Sinclair put the letter away, gave her a cold glance, and turned to leave.

The sound of her gut-wrenching curses gradually faded.

Aurora Sinclair looked up at the azure sky, recalling Elias Lennox’s final smile. A heavy weight settled in her chest, as if a great stone were lodged there.

The last line of his letter read:

Junior Sister, I’m finally free. Thank you...

"Master, Dad is here."

The voice of Ditto Miles suddenly came from Aurora Sinclair’s arm.

She turned her head and saw Alvin Morgan standing a short distance away, waiting for her.

It seemed they hadn’t seen each other in a long time.

He had been away, coordinating with The International Martial Arts Bureau to hunt down Shadow Killers and dismantle their underground labs.

"You’ve worked hard."

Aurora Sinclair walked over to him, wrapped her arms around his waist, and buried her face in his chest.

The fatigue in Alvin Morgan’s eyes gradually faded. He wrapped his arms around her waist in return, lowered his head to kiss her hair, and asked affectionately, "Did you miss me?"

"I do now."

Alvin Morgan gave a resigned sigh and flicked her on the forehead. "You’re heartless..."

Aurora Sinclair buried herself in his embrace again, breathing in his scent and listening to his heartbeat. It felt as if the pain of the past few days had begun to dissipate.

Alvin Morgan let her hold him for a long time. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

"Is the net closed?" Her muffled voice came from his chest.

"We’ve caught most of them. We just haven’t found Hector Lennox."

Aurora Sinclair released his waist, took his hand, and started walking toward the office.

As she did, Alvin Morgan felt a ticklish sensation in his palm.

She was writing a message in his palm: *I know where he is.*

Alvin Morgan was surprised. He glanced down at her, his look seeming to ask, ’Where?’

Aurora Sinclair continued to write: *The Holy Mountain.*

Once they were in the office, Alvin Morgan asked impatiently, "How do you know?"

Aurora Sinclair glanced at the ring on her finger and said hesitantly, "Ever since I bonded with this ring, my connection to the Power of Heaven and Earth has grown stronger. I can feel the fluctuations of Hector Lennox’s Power Domain near The Holy Mountain..."

Her voice paused, and she gave Alvin Morgan a complicated look. "I also sense four other powerful energy fluctuations in the direction of The Holy Mountain, even stronger than Jasper Winslow. I think... they must all be Martial Gods..."

Alvin Morgan was inwardly shocked. His long fingers tightened unconsciously on Aurora Sinclair’s shoulder. "Are you sure? Four Martial Gods?"

Aurora Sinclair nodded slightly and said with hesitation, "Three of them seem to be trapped somewhere; their energy fluctuations haven’t moved. Only one of the fluctuations is mobile, but its activity is confined to The Holy Mountain. So, I’m guessing that one is Martial God Winslow."

Alvin Morgan’s expression turned serious. He thought for a long time before analyzing, "Perhaps those three Martial Gods didn’t perish after all. Maybe Martial God Winslow has them imprisoned somewhere..."

"The Holy Mountain is all ice and snow. Where could he possibly imprison them? And to keep them locked up for tens of thousands of years without any word getting out?" Aurora Sinclair was deeply puzzled.

"What if they’re in The Hidden Realm?"

Alvin Morgan walked over to the computer and pulled up a materials analysis report.

"This is the report on the material composition of The Sherwood Clan’s Family Head Order, the one you asked me to analyze. We sent a sample for testing and found it’s made of an unknown substance with no record of it on our planet. Many experts suspect it’s extraterrestrial. The Secret Realm Stele on The Holy Mountain is made of a very similar material. If this substance isn’t from our planet, then The Hidden Realm, and that includes the ring on your finger, could very well be the products of another civilization..."

Alvin Morgan then pulled up information on cosmological theories. "The Hidden Realm has only ever been mentioned in records from Ancient Times, and The Winslow Clan believes in it without a doubt. But none of us in the modern era have ever been inside. If The Hidden Realm is real, then in the broadest scientific sense, it would be a unique dimension, and the stele would be its entrance..."

Though he said this, his eyes held a note of caution.

"Aurora, based on what Alaric Winslow and Elias Lennox told us, The Hidden Realm contains a Divine Trial that can turn someone into a Martial God and grant them a Cultivation Technique. So, let’s make a bold guess: this Hidden Realm might be the product of another civilization. As for what it is exactly, I can’t say for sure. It could be a spaceship, a game system, a virtual world, or even a real, physical space..."

Seeing that Aurora Sinclair seemed stunned by his theory, Alvin Morgan put an arm around her shoulder and comforted her, "This is just my speculation, you don’t have to..."

"No, you’re right! I’ve heard a strange voice coming from the ring, and I’ve seen it absorb Star Stone Energy with my own eyes..."
