Chapter 470: Chapter 432: Elias Lennox’s Madness

Elias Lennox had fled to an uninhabited mountain range on the Continent of Boreas.

Aurora Sinclair didn’t believe he was just panicking and fleeing blindly. It was highly likely that The Shadow’s true main base lay ahead.

The assassins she had encountered outside were far too weak.

With every leg of the chase, she would use the Power of Heaven and Earth to sense her surroundings.

She found her perception of the world growing stronger and stronger, as if something was subtly changing within her.

’Could I be comprehending a new aspect of the Power of Heaven and Earth?’

Just as she was thinking this, a sound ripped through the sky ahead.

"WHOOSH—"

A barrage of rockets came hurtling toward her.

Aurora Sinclair indifferently raised a hand, and a wall of snow, as thick as a mountain peak, instantly rose before her.

A series of thunderous explosions—BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!—caused the snow wall to collapse, but behind it, there was no one.

Terror filled the eyes of the men shouldering the rocket launchers.

"Hey, are you looking for me?"

The men with the launchers froze instantly. They turned their heads in fear, only to see their target perched on a high rock behind them, watching.

Aurora Sinclair flicked her fingers through the air, and everyone collapsed to the ground as if they had been struck.

Aurora Sinclair walked over slowly, crushing the launchers one by one under her foot.

Terrified, the men knelt and begged for their lives. "M-Ma’am... spare us..."

Their own combat skills weren’t high; they had been recruited specifically because they knew how to use these weapons.

The master had told them to lie in ambush here and wait for him to lure Aurora Sinclair. They never expected her to be so powerful. Not only could they not hit her, but she had wiped their entire squad out the moment she appeared.

"Which way did Elias Lennox run?"

"To... to the sea..."

Aurora Sinclair glanced in the direction they pointed, somewhat stunned.

’The coast is no place to escape!’

After knocking the men unconscious, she sensed with the Power of Heaven and Earth once more and sped toward the sea.

The coastline here was a sheer cliff. The only way into the sea was to jump.

Aurora Sinclair stood with her hands behind her back, gazing down. A small, three-story private yacht bobbed on the surface of the water, rising and falling with the waves.

A man in a centipede mask stood ramrod straight on the deck, waiting for her.

Meanwhile, Elias Lennox was sitting on the roof of the cabin, watching the sunset in the distance.

"Miss Sinclair, my Shadow Master invites you," Centipede shouted up at her.

Aurora Sinclair pursed her lips and leaped, landing directly on the deck.

The immense force of her landing nearly capsized the entire yacht.

There was no one else on the boat—only the three of them.

"Rory, come on up and sit for a while," Elias Lennox said, steadying himself and looking at her with a gentle expression.

With a stern face, Aurora Sinclair leaped again, this time to the roof of the cabin, landing about two meters away from him.

"What are you planning now?"

Elias Lennox smiled at her and closed the laptop in front of him.

"Rory, I don’t have much time while I’m awake. I just want to chat with you. Are you wearing the Obsidian Pendant I gave you?"

Down on the deck, Centipede was shocked by his words.

’The master actually gave her the pendant?’

’That’s the Holy Object passed down through his ancestors! No wonder the Holy Lord was so furious before and even wanted to kill the Shadow Master and his wife.’

Meanwhile, Aurora Sinclair watched him coolly and replied, "No."

Elias Lennox glanced at the two rings on her hand and chuckled, as if mocking himself. "That stone is a Holy Object passed down from the ancestors of the Harrow Clan. Your rings should be able to absorb it."

A jolt went through Aurora Sinclair’s heart as she remembered the green gemstone.

Elias Lennox continued, "The rings on your hand are sentient. For ten thousand years, no one has been able to wear them. The fact that you can means they have acknowledged you as their master. That makes you the true master of the Holy Mountain. The Hidden Realm on the Holy Mountain belongs to you as well. The only reason Tristan Winslow gave you one of them was to find the rings’ true owner, so he could reopen the Divine Trial in The Hidden Realm and allow the members of the Winslow Clan to become Martial Gods."

Aurora Sinclair looked at the rings on her hand, then glanced up. "What is the Divine Trial?"

"According to ancestral records, it’s a mysterious energy within The Hidden Realm. Anyone who can endure it will be completely reborn as a Martial God. But opening the Divine Trial requires a special stone called a Star Stone. The pendant I gave you... is a Star Stone."

"Why didn’t you use it yourselves?"

"Because we are not the masters of The Hidden Realm, we can’t make it absorb the Star Stone. That’s why Tristan Winslow had someone give you that green Star Stone."

Aurora Sinclair’s eyes narrowed slightly. "How do you know all this?" she asked, confused.

Elias Lennox tapped the laptop in front of him. "Elias and I always leave records for each other, so the other knows what’s been happening recently. But besides us, there’s another persona in this body—a killer. He’s tyrannical and cruel, and he will hurt you. If you run into him... don’t hesitate. Just kill him."

The smile on Elias Lennox’s face faded. His handsome eyes suddenly widened, and his entire aura changed, shifting from warm sunlight to a cold, dark night.

His gaze grew sharp, his expression turned vicious, and his voice became much more sinister.

"Aurora Sinclair, you’re a tough one to kill. So many weapons couldn’t even blow you up! In that case, you can just die!"

The killer slammed his hands on the surface and shot up, lunging at Aurora Sinclair.

But his body froze a meter in front of her.

The immense Power of Heaven and Earth immobilized him, forcing him to his knees.

"Centipede—!" the killer roared, his veins bulging as if he had suffered a great humiliation. He glared at her with savage fury.

The man on the deck immediately fired at Aurora Sinclair, but the bullets were knocked out of the air by an invisible force.

Centipede pursed his lips, leaped up, and vaulted onto the roof of the cabin.

"Isn’t your master Elias Lennox?" Aurora Sinclair asked faintly.

A complicated look appeared in Centipede’s eyes. "They are all my masters."

He then approached the killer, allowing him to absorb his Vitality.

Aurora Sinclair didn’t intervene. She watched as the killer’s Power Domain grew stronger, breaking through to the level of a Martial Lord. Meanwhile, Centipede’s face grew paler and paler as his Vitality dwindled.

Only when he was on his last breath did Aurora Sinclair raise her hand and flick her fingers, severing the connection between the two men.

With a crazed look of utter Destruction on his face, the killer broke free from the restraints of the Power of Heaven and Earth and attacked her, each move vicious and lethal.

But Aurora Sinclair neutralized his attacks time and again, as if his onslaught was nothing more than a futile struggle.

This only intensified the killer’s hatred. His eyes grew red-rimmed, showing faint signs of descending into madness.

"We’re both descendants of Super Soldiers! Why do you get to have everything so easily, while I have to endure all this suffering...?"

The killer ripped open his shirt and tore off the synthetic skin hiding his wounds, revealing rows of fresh, ugly scars to Aurora Sinclair.

The wounds were all new, clearly the result of a recent, brutal beating.

She was stunned. "This..."

"Your appearance ruined everything for me! No matter what I do, *he’s* never satisfied. He won’t even look me in the eye, as if I’m just a piece of trash, a defective product..."

The killer’s eyes were wide, filled with a towering rage, as if Aurora Sinclair was the executioner who had stolen his happiness. "He even wants me to marry you? In his dreams! I am the only superior Son of God in this world! Everything you have is mine...!"

Aurora Sinclair’s expression shifted. The aura of death around the man before her was thickening; he was about to succumb to madness completely.

She acted immediately, striking several major acupoints on his body to stop him from going completely insane. But his obsession was too deep. He would rather sever his own meridians and die than fail to kill her with all the Power he possessed.

Aurora Sinclair’s gaze darkened. She retracted the Power of Heaven and Earth, held her breath, and took the full force of his palm strike, her body flying back seven or eight meters.

"Hahaha..."

The killer laughed out loud and lunged forward again, striking with deadly force. This time, Aurora Sinclair didn’t fight back, appearing to be outmatched and steadily losing ground.

Not far away, on a warship that had long since surrounded the area, Alvin Morgan clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles were white, his face ashen.

Through the earpiece he wore, he could hear the killer’s manic laughter and Aurora Sinclair’s low grunts of pain.

"Sir, the captain is asking if we should attack," Beta Morgan asked, his face etched with anxiety.

Something was wrong with Aurora Sinclair’s body; she was actually losing to Elias Lennox. If this continued, he would definitely kill her.

Alvin Morgan glared at the scene through his binoculars, his voice seeming to be squeezed from between his teeth. "No." fɾēewebnσveℓ.com

The battle raged for several tens of minutes before finally drawing to a close as Elias Lennox’s strength gave out.

The crazed aura around him gradually dissipated. His silver hair slowly returned to black, and his amber pupils faded back to blue...
