Chapter 599: Yanxia Meets Friends
Liam and Yanxia descended to the deck, and his friends came toward him.
The afternoon light was good on the water, the yacht rocking slightly in the swell.
"Liam," Matt said. "Where did you find such a beautiful lady?"
"Good to see you too, Matt," Liam said.
Matt rubbed the back of his head, smiling at the ground.
The group laughed. They greeted Liam and their attention shifted to Yanxia, who stood beside him holding his arm affectionately.
"Guys, this is Yanxia. She’s a member of my family," Liam introduced Yanxia to everyone, then introduced everyone to Yanxia.
Kristopher, Alex, Matt, Harper, Stacy, Kristy. Elise. Lana. As each name was given, the corresponding person extended a hand toward her.
Yanxia looked at each offered hand in turn and did not reciprocate. She held each person’s gaze for a moment instead, in the way of offering something that carried more weight than a handshake, and moved to the next.
The group absorbed the moment with varying levels of grace. Harper recovered fastest. Matt looked at his own hand briefly before deciding not to pursue it.
When the introductions were done, Yanxia looked at them collectively.
"It is good to meet Papa’s friends," she said.
The group looked at each other. Then at Liam.
Liam had been expecting exactly this look. He gave them a moment to hold it, then spoke.
"Yanxia is from the cultivation universe," he said. "She’s from the Three-legged Golden Crow race."
The shift that moved through the group was visible. Understanding arrived first, then something more behind it. It was a recalibration of everything they were looking at, the accumulated research all of them had quietly done after Liam had told them about the other universes landing against the reality of a person standing on the deck in a gold robe with luminous eyes that caught the afternoon light in a way no human eye could ever.
Questions formed on their faces in real time.
"Lounge," Liam said. "I’ll answer everything in a moment."
He walked ahead. Yanxia moved with him, her hand still in his arm, and the group fell in behind them.
Matt leaned close to Alex as they walked.
"She’s genuinely the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen in my life. She’s the true definition of a jade beauty," he said, quiet enough that no else would hear.
Alex didn’t look at him. "Whatever you’re thinking, stop thinking it."
"I’m allowed to think. A man can dream."
"Within limits. She’s completely outside your limits."
"Hypothetically—" fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
"Hypothetically she would pulverise you with a single push and not notice she’d done it."
Matt considered this. "How strong do you think she is? She was flying on her own. I looked up cultivation levels after Liam told us about the universes, and Core Formation and above can fly independently. So she has to be at least that."
Alex glanced ahead at Yanxia, then back at Matt. "If the fiction is even partially accurate, Core Formation is the minimum. But she doesn’t feel like Core Formation."
"What does Core Formation feel like?"
"You ask me like I have any idea," Alex said.
Liam’s voice arrived directly in both their ears without him turning or appearing to speak.
"She’s in the Golden Immortal Realm. And most of what you’ve read is approximately correct."
Matt and Alex looked at each other with identical expressions.
Matt opened his mouth.
Alex shook his head.
They walked the rest of the way in silence.

The lounge was well-lit from the afternoon sun coming through the portside windows, the table set with glasses and a wine the catering staff had placed out while the kitchen finished the meal.
The group settled into their usual configurations.
Yanxia sat beside Liam and looked at the wine glass in front of her with the interest of someone encountering a new object.
Liam answered the questions first.
"Is she really from the cultivation universe?" Lana asked with eyes filled with curiosity.
"Yes, she really was from the cultivation universe," Liam replied.
"You guys remember the ball of flame in the Dimensional Space?" He asked, and his friends nodded.
"She was the one. She has been consolidating her cultivation foundation for the past five months," he said.
The group couldn’t looked at Yanxia with increased curiosity.
"If she’s from the cultivation universe, then she’s not your biological sibling. And she also calls you, Papa," Kristopher asked.
"Yes, Papa is what she called him because of the bond between us. She’s bonded to me by blood, so she’s my family," Liam replied.
The group took a moment to process this. They didn’t really understand what Liam meant by bonded by blood, but they weren’t sure if they could ask about the finer details. So, they decided not to.
"You said she’s an Immortal. Is she really...?" Alex asked in a low voice.
"Yes, she’s genuinely an Immortal. Yes, that was the correct term. And she’s a very powerful one at that. Even stronger than me," Liam replied.
Matt said nothing during this part. He was visibly processing something that his expression suggested required more processing time than was currently available.
"What does Golden Immortal Realm mean in practical terms," Harper asked.
"She can create worlds," Liam said.
Harper and the group absorbed this silently, having no idea what to say.
"Would she be staying on Earth?" Kristopher asked.
"Yes, for now."
Kristopher nodded. He had follow-up questions but he chose not to ask them.
Seeing that the question has been fully answered, Yanxia spoke. freēwēbnovel.com
"I want to know Papa’s friends better," she said. She looked around the table. "Will you tell me about yourselves?"
The group looked at each other. They looked at Liam and found his expression entirely unhelpful — he was watching them with the satisfaction of someone who had arranged exactly this and was comfortable waiting for it to unfold.
Nobody asked for his help. They had their own reasons for wanting to know Yanxia, beginning with the fact that Liam had called her family and that the word meant something specific when it came from him.
Stacy went first.
She introduced herself. Her name, where she was from, what she had been doing before Liam had entered their lives and quietly changed the orientation of all of them. She told Yanxia about everything she could think of.
As she spoke, Yanxia listened with complete attention.
