Chapter 146: Chapter 6 The Wind Moon Band and the Concert

"Come check out our concert!" a Fallen Fairy in cute clothes fluttered her wings, zooming around and tirelessly handing out flyers.

"A concert? What’s that?" a Necromancer curiously took a flyer and looked it over.

"The Wind Moon Band?" The soul fire in the Necromancer’s eye sockets flickered.

Inside, he saw another Necromancer, yet this one looked a bit odd.

He had never seen such a... cute Necromancer before, and although it felt strange to say it, in a nutshell, this Necromancer was extremely adorable.

"Is it at the Arena?" The Necromancer grew interested, it was supposed that after becoming a Necromancer, one would forsake the pursuit of other emotions.

Dedicated only to magic, pursuing the limits of it.

But looking at the adorable Necromancer on the flyer, for some reason, he felt his heart stir...

"Yes, please make sure to come. There might be an entrance fee of one silver coin~" Midra smiled sweetly at the Necromancer before her.

"Sure, I’ll definitely be there to support you," the Necromancer nodded. He had planned to go to the library that day, but now he had a new plan.

"Midra loves you~ Mwah~" The Fallen Fairy placed her hands on her chest and made a strange gesture.

Watching the Necromancer leave, Midra continued to hand out flyers with a smile.

That evening, Midra returned to their current "home".

"How did it go?" The Serpent High Priest flicked her tongue, looking toward Midra, who had returned last.

"Ah, it went okay I guess, twelve intelligent beings agreed to come, and thirty-four said they’d consider it." Midra flopped onto the soft bed, kicking her feet and flinging her shoes to the floor.

"How about your side, Angelina?" Midra looked toward the Serpent High Priest, who had become especially young and beautiful.

"I only managed to get ten from the Orc Tribe, and a couple dozen said they’d consider it." Angelina was in a bit of a mood, especially since she had attracted the fewest.

"What about Aria and Pern?" Midra scanned the room, but didn’t see the other two companions.

"They managed to get over a hundred guests, with more than two hundred indicating they’d come. Then they got called away by the man... the manager, to practice dancing because they weren’t up to standard," Angelina lay on the couch, rubbing her belly, which had once been a bit saggy but was now tight and smooth again.

Midra rolled her eyes, nobody knew what they had gone through lately, and she still remembered the tone of the hooded man at that time.

"You all should become idols!" His incomprehensible declaration and utterly baffling emotion. freewebnoveℓ.com

After being force-fed a bunch of knowledge about idols, the four of them gradually understood what this person had in mind.

Then the hooded... manager, dragged them off for a makeover, completely disregarding their opinions, revamping them from head to toe.

"Making Aria dance is just too hard, I suspect she has ADHD," Midra said as she magically grabbed a fruit and began nibbling it in her arms.

"Pern even thought about casting Haste on herself, but the man... the manager refused. I saw her last night secretly greasing her bones," Angelina felt that the four of them were the most embarrassing out of all the ninth-tier professionals.

While other professionals were completing missions, increasing their strength, or enjoying life, the four of them were being tormented under the thumb of their manager.

"Deng deng deng... deng deng deng deng deng..." A very familiar sound suddenly came from inside a room.

"When the moon rises, I carry a red lantern in my hands..." Angelina automatically stood up, singing the line involuntarily.

"..." Midra silently stopped in her tracks.

"..." Angelina awkwardly canceled the transformation spell on her tail.

"Cough cough... The weather is really nice today~" Angelina said with a laugh, trying to brush it off.

"..." Midra took a look outside the window where it was pouring rain.

"I’m telling you again! Aria, you should walk the butterfly step like this, don’t keep tripping over yourself!" The agent’s angry roar came from the room.

"To be honest, if I hadn’t seen his strength, I’d almost forget how powerful an agent he was." Midra forcefully patted her chest, swallowing the fruit down.

"Yeah, anyone who dares to mess with our members ends up hung out to dry on a tree..." Angelina shuddered, even Transcendents couldn’t finish a sentence in front of this agent.

According to the agent.

"They come in swinging, thinking they have a huge advantage!"

"Then they end up laughing themselves to a ’GG’!"

Although she couldn’t understand any of these words, Angelina could still see the agent’s power had reached a terrifying level.

"Pern, make your hand movements more flamboyant... I’m not asking you to drop your bones, dammit! Are you forcing me to take action?!" It seemed the Wind Moon Band still had a long way to go.

"Really, I suspect this bunch just came here to mess with me." Chen Ze’s mouth twitched as he listened to Hastur pouring his heart out.

"Why don’t you just inject the experience directly into their minds?" Chen Ze continued grilling pork belly, which Hastur seemed to really like.

"If I did that, where would the joy of nurturing come from? I might as well directly control the consciousness of all sentient beings in the negative planes and push them to their peaks." Hastur rolled his eyes, now understanding that playing nurturing games shouldn’t involve buying save files or using cheats.

"So you had them start with a concert from the get-go?" Chen Ze handed a piece of cooked pork belly to Betty, who quickly placed it on Hastur’s table.

"Right, the memory I accessed included the protagonist staring at an empty concert venue, resolved to fill it up, right?" Hastur was proud, having thought for a while before deciding to use this method to motivate his four idol underlings.

"What about the concert repertoire?" Chen Ze was a bit interested.

"This here." Hastur tossed over a flyer, which Chen Ze caught and looked at, only to find it completely unintelligible.

"Betty, you translate." Chen Ze could only turn to Betty, who was wiping the table while sipping on her soda.

"Alright, let me see..." Betty took the flyer and glanced at it.

"Hmm... ’To the Kingdom of God of joy’..." Betty read out the first line with difficulty.

"Hey, hey, hey! That’s not normal! All kinds of abnormal! ’To the Kingdom of God of joy’, what the hell is that? Are you trying to send the audience to heaven or what!"
