Chapter 410: FACE-OFF

Erika darted her eyes around the school surroundings but couldn’t see anyone.

The school was surrounded by trees which made it easier for Felicia to hide in without being seen.

"Don’t tell me you are too scared to show yourself, Felicia. You are after me, right? Why don’t you come out here right now and let’s settle this dispute for once and for all," Erika threatened, cracking her knuckles.

She could hear Felicia’s laughter from the other side of the phone which irked her so much.

"You are always in a rush, Erika. Do you think if the both of us fought, you could actually beat me up?" Felicia questioned.

"Why don’t you come out and let’s find out?"

Felicia gulped down her saliva but immediately composed herself.

"I think, instead of wanting to fight with me, you should worry more about your children. Aren’t you scared that I know where you’re going to school?"

"Do you think I’m surprised that you do?" Erika questioned back, her eyes still darting around the school, hoping she could see Felicia and finally end things but luck wasn’t on her side.

"You think the cameras here are blind and can’t spot the woman you sent here to spy on them?"

Erika wasn’t sure of what she was saying but Felicia’s silence proved her right.

The security team of the school were able to spot a woman who always sneaked around the school building. The woman could be watching any kid but Erika tested Felicia and she’d just confirmed that it was Felicia’s work.

"What happened? The cat caught your tongue?"

Still, silence.

"I’m starting to get bored of your games, Felicia. If you aren’t scared, come out, and let’s put an end to it. I dare you."

After Erika said her last sentence, she heard the beeping sound of the call coming to an end.

"Mummy, let’s go," Luca said, startling Erika. She nodded, got inside the car, and zoomed off without bothering to look for Felicia again.

On the other hand, Felicia gripped the phone tightly in her hands. She was close to smashing it. As always, Erika had found a way to win her.

"She dares me? I will show her." Felicia walked off. She noticed a couple glaring down at her.

Instinctively, she pulled the nose mask to properly settle on her face.

Her heart was still filled with anger but she didn’t want to give herself away. From Erika’s tone, Felicia concluded that Erika was a bit scared at all.

"That slut!!" Felicia mumbled under her breath. "She wants a face-off? I will give her a face-off." She promised, matching to wherever her foot took her.

After reaching the house she had borrowed, Felicia gritted her teeth in anger as she slammed the door shut.

She matched inside the room, reached under the bed, and pulled out a box. She opened the box and brought out the thick paper inside. She put her hand inside and brought out the gun.

The first day that Felicia had escaped from prison, and made Agnes’ house her own for the meantime, Felicia cleaned the whole place up. That was also the day she had found the gun.

She had hoped to find one in the warden’s house since she was a warden. It was completely normal for her to have a gun, wasn’t it? But they didn’t use the gun at the prison.

Felicia had never spotted any warden who used a gun at the prison. They only carried batons around, hitting them hard with it which surprised her a little when she found the gun.

But Felicia couldn’t carry it around. She was still a runaway and carrying a gun would only put her into more trouble than she already was. Even though it didn’t make any difference since she had already committed murder.

But after speaking with Erika, she only saw blood, Erika’s blood. Now she regretted not bringing the gun along with her.

"She’s asking for it," Felicia said through gritted teeth. But then, a smile graced her lips.

"It wouldn’t be a bad idea if I shot this bullet through her skull. I’m sure it will be an amazing sight."

Felicia reached for her phone and dialed a number.

"Since you want to put an end to this, why don’t we meet up tomorrow, at the Green River, at 4 pm," Felicia said through the phone immediately after Erika picked up the call. "Let’s put a complete end to this but, don’t be heartbroken when you end up losing," Felicia taunted, caressing the gun in her hand.

The phone call disconnected and a smile pulled up on Felicia’s lips.

"Tomorrow is the day, finally. I better get some sleep so that I will enjoy this," Felicia said to herself.

Suddenly, a loud knock hit the door.

"Agnes! Come out now and pay me back my money. Do you think you can hide from me? You are mistaken."

Felicia stared at the gun and picked it up, she glared at the door with the urge to kill the woman who was knocking on it but dispersed the idea.

Killing the woman would only bring attention to herself which was something she didn’t need at all since her meet-up with Erika was scheduled the next day.

Erika glared at her phone. She would be lying if she said she wasn’t a little scared of what tomorrow would turn out to be.

With the confidence that Felicia spoke with, it was evident that she had something up her sleeves.

Sighing, Erika dropped the phone and continued making dinner.

She knew she had to go to the location alone but that was risky. Even though she was confident she could defeat Felicia, she wasn’t dumb enough to go there alone, especially since she didn’t know exactly what Felicia was planning.

"Either way, I’m still going tomorrow and I will make sure I make it out alive." She said to herself with a small smile on her lips.
