Kira was shocked for a moment at having her name called like that. She blinked, then replied calmly as she regained herself, "No, Teacher Rose. Just a little distracted."

"Good, because you’re one of the best students with fire affinity here and we are going to need you. So try your best not to be distracted again." Rose said coldly. Then she remembered a certain someone and asked, "By the way, where’s Lynx?" She asked, recalling the ’fast kiss’ incident.

Rose’s cheeks turned red for a moment, but she quickly controlled herself, not letting any emotion show.

"Uhm... he’s not here. I haven’t seen him since the infirmary," Kira replied, wondering where Lynx was too.

"That brat. He’s a new student and he’s already missing classes. I’ll punish him next time I see him," Rose said before she went back to teaching the students.

’Where is he, really? Oh well, I hope he’s okay.’ Kira thought, before she locked her gaze on her teacher’s demonstrations so she could practice it later.

While he was still falling, he spun mid-air and took his stance. He was nearing the ground. He grinned.
