Chapter 107: Kuruda’s Fall

High above the city, inside the luxurious top floor office of Mirai Corporation, Mr. Kuruda sat alone.

The office that normally made him feel powerful now felt strangely suffocating. The sun light shone through the giant windows.

The expensive furniture, trophies, awards. Everything was still there.

Yet Kuruda couldn’t enjoy any of it. His fingers tapped nervously against the desk. His eyes repeatedly drifted toward the pile of reports lying before him.

After the warehouse incident of yesterday night something felt very wrong.

"That insane crimson-helmeted lunatic." Kuruda clenched his fists. "Who the hell is he..."

The question had haunted him for days. The warehouse was supposed to be secure. The evidence was supposed to be hidden. The gangsters were supposed to handle intruders.

Yet somehow...That biker had broken into the warehouse. Defeated everyone and took the evidence. And vanished.

Kuruda slammed his fist onto the desk. "Damn it!"

His breathing became heavier. Then another thought entered his mind.

"Toma." His expression darkened. That girl should have disappeared from the equation long ago. Yet somehow she had survived. Not once. But twice.

The same biker had saved her twice.

Kuruda stood up and walked toward the window. His reflection stared back at him. He looked afraid. "What did he do with those files?"

His thoughts grew darker. "What if the evidence had reached Aiden? What if the police had seen it? What if the courts got involved? What if everything was exposed?" Kuruda suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

The empire he had spent years building suddenly seemed fragile.

One loose thread and everything could collapse.

He shook his head. "No..No..There is still time."

Then he froze. Because deep inside he no longer believed his own words. His instincts screamed to run. Get away before it is too late.

Kuruda immediately grabbed his coat. "I should leave town." The words escaped his mouth before he could stop them.

The moment he said it, he knew it was the correct decision. He hurried toward the office door.

He would leave immediately. He would figure everything out later. Right now survival came first.

The elevator doors opened. Kuruda stepped inside. His fingers repeatedly tapped the emergency button. "Hurry."

The elevator descended.

Floor after floor.

The numbers decreased.

Each second felt like an eternity. Sweat formed on his forehead. His heart pounded.

G Floor

The elevator finally reached the ground floor.

The door is opening.

DING.

Kuruda immediately stepped out. Then froze.

Camera flashes exploded.

FLASH!

FLASH!

FLASH!

FLASH!

The entire lobby was packed.

Reporters, journalists, news crews, cameramen, microphones. Dozens of them.

Kuruda’s face turned pale. "What...?"

More flashes erupted.

The reporters immediately noticed him.

"There he is!"

"Mr. Kuruda!"

"Mr. Kuruda, do you have any comments?"

"Is it true you were involved in money laundering?"

"Did you conspire against Nathan Industries?"

"Mr. Kuruda!"

"Mr. Kuruda!"

Kuruda’s mind went blank. "How? How did they know?"

Then another figure stepped forward. It was a police officer. Behind him stood several more officers.

One of them held official documents. The lead officer looked directly at Kuruda. "Mr. Kuruda."

Kuruda instinctively stepped backward.

The officer unfolded the paper. "We have a warrant."

Kuruda’s stomach dropped.

The officer continued. "You are under arrest for money laundering, financial fraud, conspiracy against Nathan Industries, evidence tampering and multiple related criminal activities."

Kuruda stared and his mouth opened. "No..."

The officer stepped forward. "You have the right to remain silent."

"No." Kuruda shook his head. "This is a misunderstanding."

The officer didn’t react. "It is not."

Kuruda pointed wildly. "You don’t understand! Someone framed me!"

The reporters eagerly recorded every second.

More camera flashes exploded.

FLASH!

FLASH!

FLASH!

Kuruda looked around desperately. Everyone was watching.

The officer finally produced handcuffs.

CLICK.

Kuruda stared at them. The reality finally hit him. This was real. His empire was collapsing. Right now, in front of everyone.

"No."

The officer grabbed his wrist.

CLICK.

One cuff locked. The second followed.

CLICK.

Kuruda’s eyes widened. The cold metal around his wrists felt heavier than iron. His breathing became uneven. "This can’t be happening."

The officer began escorting him toward the exit. The reporters followed. Questions flew from every direction.

Kuruda barely heard them.

Then..a familiar voice stopped him. "Kuruda."

Kuruda froze. Slowly he turned his head.

Standing near the entrance, wearing a formal suit was Aiden.

The entire lobby watched.

Aiden stepped forward. His expression remained calm. Yet beneath that calmness burned years of frustration.

Kuruda glared. "Aiden..."

Aiden stopped directly before him.

The police gave them space.

Kuruda laughed bitterly. "You think you’ve won?"

Aiden remained silent.

Kuruda’s smile became twisted. "You have no idea what it took me to build everything."

Aiden finally spoke. "Build?"

Kuruda narrowed his eyes.

Aiden continued. "You call stealing, bribing, blackmailing and framing people ’building’?"

Kuruda had no answer.

Aiden looked directly into his eyes. "The truth always catches up."

Kuruda clenched his fists. "As if you’re some saint."

Aiden shook his head. "I’m not." His voice became colder. "But unlike you...I don’t destroy innocent people just to get ahead."

Kuruda’s face twisted with rage.

The reporters eagerly recorded every word.

Aiden took one final step forward. Then gave a small victorious smile. The smile of someone watching justice finally arrive. Then he said,"Kuruda."

The defeated businessman looked up.

Aiden’s eyes showed no sympathy. Only certainty. "You are finished."

Kuruda’s shoulders slowly dropped. Because deep down he knew Aiden was right.

The police began leading him away. The reporters followed. Camera flashes continued.

Questions continued. The crowd continued watching.

And as Kuruda was escorted into the police vehicle he couldn’t stop thinking about one thing. Which was the crimson bunny biker. The mysterious lunatic who had destroyed everything.

As the police vehicle drove away, Kuruda looked through the window one last time. The towering Mirai Corporation building slowly disappeared from view.

The company he had controlled, the empire he had built through lies, the future he had imagined, everything was slipping away.

Meanwhile, Aiden stood outside the building and quietly exhaled. After such a long time, the weight on his shoulders felt lighter.

His phone vibrated. A message from Toma appeared. "Looks like justice finally caught up to him."

Aiden smiled faintly. "Yeah."

Far away, Nobody finished the last sip of his tea. He stood up and stretched.

"Guy’s don’t worry. Not letting him go that easily."
