Victor, stunned at Ruby’s statement, spat onto the ground and said to her,
"You said your name is Ruby and that you want me to submit to you. That will never happen, even if you kill me."
With a sneer on his face, Victor pulled a stone tree out of the ground with his good left hand and swung it down onto the ground towards Ruby’s position.
*Bang*
*Boom*
The top of the stone tree broke off from the impact of it hitting the ground, only leaving a giant stone club in Victor’s hands at this moment.
Holding the club in his hand, Victor ran at Ruby, now quicker than he was before. Tons of black blood leaked from his right arm and missing ear. Ruby jumped to the left out of the way of the giant stone club as it came down to hit the ground again.

Evading Victor, Ruby laughed and said, "Ha ha. Victor, you are already badly injured, yet you continue to fight me. I guess you are at least worthy of more praise than the enemies I have had to face over the last few weeks."
After this statement, a certain prince still looking for his missing money suddenly sneezed and said,

"Huh, someone must be complimenting my handsome face again. I seem to be sneezing a lot lately. I had no idea I was so popular."

Ruby focused her thoughts back to the battle as Victor once again swung his giant stone club down on her.

Ruby smirked and jumped onto the stone tree club. She quickly ran up the tree and onto Victor’s left arm. Using her garrote wire, Ruby swung the wire towards Victor’s face. Victor used his mangled right arm to stop the wire. When his right arm was hit by the garrote wire, it wrapped around the remaining bone still attached to Victor’s shoulder. Ruby pulled the wire hard, causing a loud,

A geyser of black blood shot into the air fifty feet high. Finally, Victor’s right arm fell to the ground with a loud,
*Boom*
Victor screamed at Ruby, "You bitch! You cut off my arm! I will kill you!"
Ruby smirked and pulled back her garrote wire. She sent it flying out again at Victor’s face as she jumped off his left arm and into the air towards Victor’s face. Victor dropped his stone club.
*Boom*
He used his left arm to reach for Ruby very quickly while she was in the air. Victor was able to get a hold of Ruby as she jumped in the air, resulting in Ruby failing to hit Victor’s face with her wire. So she calmly pulled it back into her glove as Victor held her body. freewēbnoveℓ.com
Ruby had a smirk on her face at this moment. Victor, now feeling victorious, asked Ruby, "Well, Ruby Valentine, it looks like you will be the one to suffer at my hand. You took my arm; now I will take your body. Your pleasure shall be legendary."
Ruby could not maintain the smirk on her face as she said to Victor with a stone-cold serious face, "You are not nearly as gifted as my husband and his ten-foot pole. Now that I have played around with you long enough to grab your complete attention, it’s time to end this."
Then, like the last few times, a single sound was heard.
*Pierce*
*Splitch*
That’s right, the ignored high-level devil puppet pierced Victor through the heart with his pitchfork. Victor lost his grip on Ruby, and she fell to the ground, landing gently.
Victor looked at Ruby in confusion as he asked, "I thought you wanted me to submit to you. Why did you kill me with this puppet?"
Ruby smiled and said something that made Victor realize that she had been playing with him this entire time, "I never said I needed you to be alive when you submit to me. A puppet is far more of an obedient pawn than an undead or a living devil could ever be. I can control you remotely at all times by doing this."
The high-level devil, now clinging to the back of Victor as his pitchfork pierced his heart, opened his mouth as thousands of spiders quickly crawled out from within him. They all landed on the pitchfork and crawled on it as they entered into the wound on Victor’s back that pierced his heart.
Victor was not dead yet as Ruby’s spiders quickly took control of his body, throwing off the skeletal remains of the high-level devil that the spiders consumed before leaving his body. Victor pulled the pitchfork out of his body like a small fork with his good left hand.
*Squelch*
When Victor pulled out the pitchfork, his heart came out with it. Then he discarded his heart and the pitchfork onto the ground. The wound where his heart was began to rapidly heal as a new heart formed. Victor retrieved his mangled arm and reattached it to his body. In a few moments, all of his wounds healed.
Ruby smiled at this new Devil Lord puppet and said, "Well, now you have a perfect new body to turn into a hive, my precious little darlings. Victor just barely meets the requirements to allow you to breed new brothers and sisters. But don’t worry, soon I will go out and find you little darlings a nice dragon to turn into a real nest. It’s been a few years since you have had a nice place to call home. So get to work and oppress the local devils to start stripping this place clean of all of its massive amounts of resources. Then have the devils begin to join Amara’s undead legion until the sister in charge of the demons arrives. She will love to have a nice little group of devils under her command to start a new demon horde with. She lost her other demon subordinates, so now she will have the ability to start from scratch again, beginning with an endless horde of devils."
Ruby left behind her new puppet Victor to carry out her orders. With the help of her spiders, that Devil Lord was effectively invincible to any injury. So the thought of her puppet losing his position as the Devil Lord never crossed Ruby’s mind.
When Ruby was about to leave this Hell Plane, her subordinate Shadow showed up in front of her and said, "My lady, did you succeed in subduing the Devil Lord?"
Ruby nodded at this question and said to Shadow, "Yes, I managed to allow a few of my pets to feed very well in this cursed place. But speaking of this independent plane that only has one entrance in and out, this would make a good place to establish our own base of operations. Besides the Infernal Palace, we can send the majority of our new followers here—the ones that are either too old or not suited to be trained at Hope Ends Academy. This will be the first official territory of Phoenix Rising, a very remote and secure place to call our own. I can use our new members that are in the Adventurers Guild to make sure they delete any records about this particular hell plane ever existing."
Shadow considered these words for a moment and smiled, saying, "Master, this is a wonderful idea. A hot and desolate place like this is a perfect place for our mages to truly test and enhance their new plant growth magic by turning this hell hole into a paradise."
Ruby loved this idea and said to Shadow, "Excellent idea, Shadow. We can make this place into a truly deadly paradise. After all, how can a place be called heaven on earth if you don’t die when you get there, especially if you’re an uninvited guest?"
