As the high-level devil said this, the devil who pierced him in the gut suddenly opened his mouth and spewed out hundreds of spiders onto the high-level devil.
Then the mid-level devil puppet fell to the floor dead.
His body was quickly eaten from the inside out as thousands more spiders slowly emerged from his skeletal remains. They ran into the gut wound that the high-level devil had.
After all of them went into his body, the devil pulled out the pitchfork from his gut.
Leaving behind a gaping wound that began to squiggle like thousands of tiny worms. As the wound closed, it began to heal at a rate visible to the naked eye.
With his wound healed, the devil retrieved his own much larger pitchfork from the ground and looked at Ruby, awaiting orders.
Ruby looked at the field full of dozens of eaten devil corpses and smiled. This is one of the reasons she enjoys coming to a Hell Plain; her various pets get a chance to eat to their heart’s content. frёewebnoѵēl.com
Ruby looked at her new puppet and frowned, saying, "You are certainly an improvement on the previous devil. But if I want to control this Hell Realm, only the Devil Lord will be a suitable puppet to order you guys around as free labor for me. So go ahead and continue leading the way to your master."
The high-level devil puppet once again began to head south. Once in a while, Ruby would be stopped by another group of mid-level or even high-level devils, but Ruby had no need for them, so she simply let her spiders feed on them to their heart’s content.
The fun thing about a Hell Plain is that the devils spawn almost endlessly due to the chaos energy that is always present here.
The high-level devil puppet finally led Ruby to a forest made up of red stone trees.
Ruby looked around since this was the only place that she had seen with any wildlife of any kind. She was led a couple of hundred feet into the forest when the puppet came to a stop, pointing to a clearing beyond the trees.
Like before, the devil continued to lead Ruby towards the massive boulder sitting in the middle of the forest. Ruby began to marvel at this boulder when—
*Rumble*
*Rumble*
"I smell the scent of a voluptuous woman."
That’s right, this giant thirty-foot-tall boulder suddenly stood up and turned to face Ruby.
Then, with a large smile on his face that showed dozens of razor-sharp teeth that overflowed out of his mouth, the Devil Lord looked down at Ruby and said, "So a human has managed to infiltrate this far into my territory without being killed. Hmm, and you are a woman. Ha ha, it’s been a long time since dinner has delivered itself to me like this."
Ruby looked up at this giant thirty-foot-tall Devil Lord and smiled as he seemed to ignore the high-level devil walking behind him. Then Ruby said to this Devil Lord, "Well, you are certainly big for a demon. One of the biggest I have seen in a while for sure. But my husband is still bigger than you where it matters, I’m afraid. Now on to business, my name is Ruby Valentine, and you will submit to me and command your endless hordes of devils to start exploiting every resource in this Hell Plain for my personal use."
The Devil Lord grinned at this human woman’s words, then responded, saying, "Ruby, my name is Victor, and this is my domain. The only thing my minions will do is enjoy your body after I am done with you."
After Victor said this, he stretched out his massive right arm towards Ruby. His fingers had claws on them that were at least sixteen inches long and eight inches thick.
Ruby had to admit that Victor is built for combat. Ruby smiled as she pulled out her garrote wire from her glove. Then she took a proper fighting stance.
As Victor slowly reached towards Ruby, Ruby jumped up into the air and landed on Victor’s arm reaching for her.
*Click*
*Clack*
The sound of Ruby’s heels running on Victor’s thick skin made the devil stop in surprise. Victor wondered when this human was able to move so fast that he did not even see her jump onto his arm.
Ruby swung out her garrote wire and wrapped it between the middle of the five fingers on Victor’s hand. As she continued to run up his arm, reaching a certain distance, suddenly a heart-wrenching—
*RRRIIIPPP*
Could be heard as Ruby’s garrote wire cut into the soft tissue between Victor’s fingers.
Then, with Ruby’s running, the wire began to tear Victor’s arm in half, from the fingers up into the wrist, then the elbow.
Victor only realized that most of his arm was torn in half at this very moment. Using his left arm, Victor tried to swat at Ruby like a human would a fly while crying out in pain, "Ahhh, you human bitch, how dare you injure me."
Finally, Ruby’s garrote wire reached Victor’s shoulder. This all happened in a matter of seconds. When all of a sudden, a geyser of black blood shot up into the air twenty feet high.
Victor screamed in pain from having the muscle and bone of his right arm split in half and losing massive amounts of blood every second.
"Ahh, bitch!"
By this point, Victor’s left hand had reached Ruby. But before it could hit her, she did another jump off of the thick torn flesh of Victor’s right shoulder.
Ruby landed on Victor’s left hand, and using her garrote wire like a grappling hook, she sent it flying towards Victor’s head like a spear.
The wire hit Victor’s thick right ear and came out on the other side. Ruby pulled the wire hard and used the momentum of the wire to catapult herself towards Victor’s head.
Victor, stunned at this, swatted at Ruby in the air with his left hand but missed. He increased his speed and quickly used his one good arm to reach for Ruby again. But again, he missed her as she was traveling too quickly towards his head.
Victor may be big and strong, but he is slow. Something that Ruby can easily take advantage of.
Victor said in a moment of fury to Ruby, "What the hell are you, woman? Humans do not fight like you do."
Ruby, while still flying through the air, answered Victor, saying, "I’m a personal maid with a thirst for blood and combat."
Victor did not want to see Ruby get too close to his head. So, using his massive leg muscles, he jumped backwards ten feet.
But this action cost him his left ear as it was ripped off from his head by Ruby. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
Now, with a missing ear and a useless right arm, Victor looked at the maid that calmly landed on the ground in front of him. She had an angry look on her face. Ruby seemed upset at his tactical retreat.
Then Ruby said to Victor, "You big chicken, you can’t even fight without retreating."
