With their goals reaffirmed Ruby still sitting on a chair made of skulls said to Amara.
"Amara you were right this skull furniture really is very comfortable just like our bed at night is now. It’s a big improvement for our night activities with Fate. But being surrounded by all of these people worshipping us makes it obvious to me that we need to build a giant blood red temple to house our statue that we made to worship our husband. It will be here underground surrounded by lakes of blood and made of burning brimstone. A temple that literally burns none stop."
Amara nodded as she took a sip of her coffee and morning scone. Then after thinking about this new temple she said to Ruby.
"Ruby we can call it the Calamity Palace I have a few places in mind we can use to make lakes of blood with so leave that to me. As for the burning brimstone just send a few subordinates into one of the nearby hell dimensions and slap around some arch devils until they give us what we need."
Ruby nodded her head it’s always fun to bully those devils then steal from them. So Ruby planed to do it herself.
With Amara here now Ruby could travel through the Dark Veins to get a few important errands done.
Ruby said to Amara after she decided to go devil hunting.
"Amara the name Calamity Palace is an excellent suggestion. We should make this place able to receive worship energy from Fate’s followers. He may have no use for the energy that can make someone a god but we can use it to make ourselves more powerful and elevate our most trusted subordinates to an even more powerful level. If we hope to take on the forces arrayed against our sisters we will need more power. It would be best if we begin to expand Phoenix Rising beyond the Southern Hampshire Plains into the rest of the kingdom of Westridge."
Amara nodded her head agreeing with these ideas then added her own saying.
"Ruby it will take a lot of time to gather the materials to construct a conduit capable of gathering worship energy so we can make that a long term project. However while traveling to the Southern Hampshire Plains. I noticed that this massive and prosperous territory is covered by a natural barrier of high mountains. The roads in and out of Fate’s territory are now completely unguarded without any border fortifications. So this is the next priority for me securing the territory border."
Ruby was about to respond when Shadow and Ghost showed up in front of them wearing the red armor and robes that they only wear when in this underground necropolis that is slowly forming into a city.
Shadow bowed to Ruby and said to her.
"My lady we have finished counting the money that Nimrod had hidden under his bed. While I still can’t believe that man hides things under his bed the fact remains that Nimrod had a total of twenty three thousand platinum crowns in this underground vault. Enough money to fund your expansion plans for a few more months. We also found a ledger hidden under his pillow that details all kinds of illegal tradeing between the Bloodsworn royal family and many foreign nations."
Amara and Ruby both said out loud.
"Wow!" x2
Then Ruby smiled happily saying to Shadow.
"Dam Amara you won the bet I can’t believe that idiot hid his ledger under his pillow. That prince may be good at making money but he is a comple idiot."
Amara nodded her head then said to Ruby.
"I agree he did not even try to hide his wealth or ledger. But Ruby you were also right when you said his money was stored under his bed. Since I won the bet then I get to sleep with Fate first tonight then it’s your turn."
Ruby grumbled but said to Amara.
"Fine Amara you can have the first round but no double dipping. We will tag team him in the third round like usual. Putting our evening activities aside I will make use of this ledger to locate more illegally stored money and have my Blood Maidens requisition it for our use. The platinum crowns can be used to further enhance the border fortresses the you will construct. My agents have already acquired the blueprints to build the magic defensive shield from some merchants in Hildegard they were more than happy to help after some persuasion. We can install them at the border fortifications and around the Shadow Spire Citadel. As for the city of Valoria that will require more consideration."
Amara took the ledger from Shadow and waived them away. Shadow and Ghost retreated to join the others worshipping the alter that Ruby and Amara sat on. With a giant statue of Fate behind them.
Another of the faithful came up to Ruby and said to her after groveling on the floor.
"Fire Mother forgive me for the interruption but our scouts have reported that the nobles in the Southern Hampshire Plains are amassing their troops it looks like they plan to rebel against The Phoenix Lord when he meets them at the upcoming meeting of the lords. We also have reports that many foreign solders and nobles have been spotted heading for Valoria for the opening week of classes at Bloomspire Academy. This would normally not be a cause for concern. But we have intercepted several solders dressed as civilians trying to infiltrate the territory it appears that an attack may take place against the academy. What do you wish us to do about this Fire Mother?"
Ruby became surprised that someone would dare to attack Bloomspire Academy. That school has noble children from every country in the continent of Vale attending it.
As for this supposed rebellion Ruby sneered she was more than happy to welcome more undead into Amara’s legion.
Ruby would need to handle this rebellion first before they resorted to robing and looting the commoners that would hurt their bottom line financially.

Fate does not tax commoners and poor at all. Because he wants to foster a blooming economy with them as the primary market. Then he will come in with a transaction tax after a few years of growth. A perfect way to make money without relying on nobles.
Looking at the faithful on the ground groveling. Ruby smiled and said to him.
"Keep an eye on the solders and foreign nobles coming to Valoria. We don’t need to act against them for now. The military forces stationed at Bloomspire Academy are not push overs they can handle a few rats. But if need be we can lend a hand. Authors Note: I don’t want to constantly call all of the members of Phoenix Rising weird names so going forward they will be referred to as faithful. I may create a rank system for them but I have not decided yet let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
