Chapter 94: Alone [9]
Oscar looked at Asher, who was still uninjured and in his best condition, just as he had been before the battle began. It was as if he had not even fought a battle at all.
Asher’s expression was still indifferent, just as it had been throughout the entire battle.
Oscar then looked at his own body. It was covered in wounds—wounds from blades, wounds from punches and kicks. His shoulders were cut in many places, his bones were broken, and he could barely stand. Blood kept flowing from his wounds and dripping onto the ground.
Oscar let out a weak laugh.
"Haha..."
He then said weakly to Asher, who still had an indifferent expression while looking at Oscar’s state.
"You really are a monster, playing with me like I am just equipment for you to test your close-combat skills. You did not even use any destructive spells."
After saying this, Oscar could no longer stand and fell to his knees. His body then started shrinking. His height reduced from three meters to two meters, and his fur and claws disappeared.
His transformation ended, and he returned to his original state before the battle, but his wounds remained the same.
Asher looked at the kneeling Oscar and said in an indifferent tone,
"Because you were just equipment for me to test my close-combat skills and nothing more. Now your purpose has ended, so goodbye." fгeewebnovёl.com
Oscar let out another small laugh.
"Haha... Oh, I see. What about cutting off my limbs?"
Asher looked at him and replied,
"I don’t see any limbs supporting you. You are just a pathetic kneeling loser, nothing more. That is far better than cutting off your limbs."
Asher then raised his hand, and mana started gathering around his arm, taking the shape of a giant fist.
The next moment, Asher vanished from his position and appeared right in front of the kneeling Oscar.
Before Oscar could even process what had happened, the giant mana fist struck his body.
Oscar was sent flying away. His body crashed through numerous trees, but it did not stop. He continued flying, destroying tree after tree before eventually coming to a halt as the force behind the attack finally faded.
Oscar’s body came to rest on the ground.
He coughed up blood and found that he could no longer move. Every bone in his body had already been shattered.
Soon after, he lost consciousness.
His body was then teleported outside the forest, and he was eliminated.
Meanwhile, on a nearby tree...
An elf student from Class S had been observing the entire battle while hiding his presence the whole time.
As soon as the battle ended, he muttered in disbelief,
"That bastard is really a monster. He defeated the second strongest person in Class S as if he were beating a wolf pup."
He then looked at Asher, who still had an indifferent expression on his face even after defeating Oscar.
Suddenly, Asher vanished.
The elf student who had been secretly watching him became confused and muttered,
"Where the hell did that guy go now? If I lose sight of him, I’ll be in big trouble later if Roselia finds out that I couldn’t even monitor him. This is the best time to defeat him since he just finished a battle and seems to have lost most of his mana reserves."
Then a voice from behind him said,
"Yeah, he only has half of his total mana left."
The elf immediately replied,
"Yeah, you’re probably right. He should only have around fifty percent of his mana left after a long battle like this."
But then his body froze.
He was supposed to be the only one here besides Asher.
Then he realized who the person behind him was.
It was Asher.
As soon as he realized this, he tried to flee. However, before he could even move, he felt something sharp pass through his left arm.
The next moment, he could no longer feel it.
His severed arm was already falling toward the ground.
Asher, who had just cut off his arm, said in a calm tone,
"You should not spy on people. People don’t like others spying on them."
After hearing this, the elf student did not even look back at Asher and immediately fired a fireball behind him.
Asher simply avoided the attack by teleporting onto a different branch of another tree.
The fireball struck a tree behind the elf student and exploded with a loud blast.
The elf student did not look even a bit disappointed that the fireball had missed Asher.
Instead, he looked satisfied, as if he had accomplished exactly what he was supposed to do.
Asher looked at the elf student and then asked in a calm tone,
"So, how much time will it take for the others to arrive now? You know, it was quite boring fighting that musclehead for half an hour just so you guys would finally reveal yourselves."
The elf student’s expression changed slightly after hearing Asher’s words.
"So you knew all along?" he asked while trying to stop his bleeding.
Asher looked at him. "Of course I knew. If I didn’t, why would I fight that musclehead for so long? I would have already finished him long ago. I just didn’t want to waste more time waiting for you guys to attack me. I wanted to finish this test quickly."
After saying that, Asher vanished from his position and appeared right behind the elf student. He kicked the elf’s head as if it were a football.

But he was still conscious. He looked toward his previous position, but Asher was already in front of him. Without giving him a chance to react, Asher started raining punches down on his face without stopping.
The elf student, having already lost one arm and still suffering from the effects of the kick to his head, could not defend himself against Asher’s punches.
