Carter sighed and said, "Young Master, I am not worried about myself, but instead about you. If the family head finds out that it was your decision to hide this, you might get into trouble. You should also worry about yourself."

Calvin sighed and said, "So it was all Cedric’s fault, and his strong reaction must be related to his crush on Aria Velmora."

Calvin stayed silent for a few seconds before asking, "How serious was the injury?"

Carter immediately answered, "Fortunately, the Academy healers treated him quickly, so the tongue was restored without any permanent damage."

Hearing this, Calvin silently let out a breath of relief.

Then his expression became complicated.

Calvin then said, "Cedric really got himself into serious trouble. Even after knowing about Asher’s power and cruel nature and watching the recording of it, he still dared to provoke him. I am relieved that only his tongue got cut. I guess the rumors and that recording were really true."

Carter just nodded and said, "Yeah, both brothers are cruel. One killed his brother, and after killing his brother, he also killed his mother. Calvin then said "So did they ask for compensation in letter or punishment for Cedric actions "

Carter hesitated for a moment then said "It is a punishment given by Asher Astrean as well as a threat that Young master Cedric will be killed if we did not agree with the punishment "

Calvin expression became grave then he asked "What is punishment?"

Carter said "It is too cut all financial support provided to Young master Cedric from now on till he reaches Master rank "

Hearing this, Calvin became silent.

After a few seconds, he frowned and said, "That is not a simple punishment."

Carter nodded and replied, "Yes, Young Master. For someone like Young Master Cedric, losing the family’s financial support is almost the same as cutting off most of his cultivation resources."

Calvin rubbed his forehead and sighed.

"Asher Astrean really knows where to strike."

Then Carter asked, "So what are you going to do about it?"

Calvin sighed and said, "What else can we do? We are going to agree to it. It is far better than offending the Astrean Family."

Then he stopped for a moment before continuing, "It is also better than Cedric’s life being in danger, and this punishment will also serve as a lesson for him to understand the value of money and the consequences of his actions.
