She pointed to a display board in front of the ride, a smile on her face.
It was painted in a riot of colors, with a few large, vibrant words splashed across it.

Su Nian glanced from the words to the ride behind the old woman.
It was a chibi-style mini-train, divided into cars that could each seat two people.
Several people were already seated inside—students, couples, a mother with her child, and, in the very last car, two pretty young women.

Her intuition told her it wasn’t that simple, but she decided to hold back for now.
She gave a casual nod and boarded, half-expecting there to be some catch.
But the old woman didn’t ask for anything. As Su Nian walked up, an increasingly strange aura coiled around her heart.
The moment she sat down, the mini-train started up, winding its way through the amusement park.
Su Nian was the last to board. In front of her sat the pair of cheerful best friends.
When the two of them saw Su Nian board the train, their smiles widened until their eyes crinkled, as if they’d just received a wonderful surprise.
The girl in red couldn’t help but turn around to compliment her, "Your skin is so fair!"
"It is! Your skin is so fair!"
The other girl couldn’t help but add.
Such a strange compliment set off alarm bells in Su Nian’s mind.
She gave a slight nod without saying much more. She still wasn’t sure what was going on.
As the mini-train continued on its way, Su Nian noticed something strange—it seemed a lot of people were secretly watching her.
