Winter growls at the she wolf, knowing she is going to take her down, but she wants to have fun first. Maze orders the pack to leave the fighting to the two of us. I think maybe some of her cronies wanted to help her. Let them, we’re going to kill them as well. I done with being timid and afraid in this fucking pack of misfits. If they do not learn their lesson now, they will never learn.
Melissa’s wolf makes a quick turn to charge at me again, but I dodge it one more time, nipping her tail in the process. Winter’s tails are moving like flowing whips. She is excited for this challenge, but annoyed that it is necessary to do this to get respect.
We charge at the she wolf as she stumbles after our dodge, and catch her by the neck, throwing her across the circle the pack has made. Everyone is looking on in eerie silence. Melissa’s mate looks on with a mixture of horror and fear. He recognizes the raw power my fox exudes, and his wolf recognizes it’s Queen. I may not be crowned yet, but Maze has accepted me, marked me and I have marked him. We are bound by blood, love and power.

’I can’t have fun, while I teach them a lesson?’ Maze chuckles.
’You still have the challenge.’ Oh, right. I forgot that. A pain shoots through my body for a second. I was distracted by Maze, and hadn’t seen Melissa sneaking up on me. She’s jumped on my back, trying to chomp down on me from behind. I can feel one of my tails glow, and Melissa is harshly thrown off of me, making her fly into a tree trunk when pack members move out of the flying she wolf’s way. The wounds heal in a second, but I have had it with her.
She is whimpering, still laying at the tree. I walk over there, asking for Maze to get her to submit or I will kill her sorry excuse of an ass. He goes with me, as Winter looms over her broken form. She broke her back in the collision with the tree, and I am not sorry.
"You have a choice to make, Beta Melissa. You can either submit to your Queen or you can be killed for attacking her." She gives me a scornful look, and Maze’s eyes darken. As he is crowned he can mindlink with all his subjects, a skill I will get when my coronation is complete as well. "As you wish." He looks at me. "She says she’ll never submit to the likes of you. Your right is to kill her, my love." Winter wants to kill her so badly, but we chose the highway for now.
’I will let her live if she swears in blood to never pursue a ranked position again, denounce her Beta status here voluntarily and stays the fuck away from me and you.’ Maze explains my terms and conditions, which are not unreasonable after what she has done. There’s a mumble amongst pack members, most of them agreeing with what I stated.
"She accepts the conditions, and as do I." A male voice sounds behind Maze. Callan walks forward, his head held high. He bows to Maze, and then he bows to me.
"I am sorry for the part I have played in the torments you have endured in this pack, Luna Queen." He bows again as a growl erupts behind me, and I am thrown to the ground by a body. Melissa had time enough to heal, and her wolf is livid at her mate’s display of submission. I can practically feel her fuming. Another wolf enters the fray, and another. Winter whines in anticipation, kicking Melissa off of us. She lands beside her companions. I quickly mindlink Maze, and he tells the pack that I am not going to show mercy this time.
The three she wolves, whereas one of them is probably the original challenger, but I cannot be entirely sure because I have not seen her shift, fan out and stalk me from three sides. Winter renders one of them unable to move, while she throws another to the other end of the circle. Maze has once again forbidden others from entering the fight. His command is like whip over the pack members, who bares their necks in submission to their King. I focus on Melissa, use my full speed and is upon her before she can blink. I grab her neck and break it in one snap, making people gasp. Whispers of me holding back a lot run through the crowd, who are as glued to the ground. The one I threw is on her legs again, and I dump Melissa’s dead body on the ground, shifting my focus on this wolf, only noticing with a part of my mind that the third party has shifted back to her human form, her hands in the air with wide eyes.
The second wolf growls and charges against me, I grab her by her hind legs after dodging her. She manages to swipe me by rolling and breaking her hind leg in the process. I don’t seem to bother her too much, and I now have claw marks over my snout. I let her go, grabbing her other front paw when it comes crashing down again, biting down and severing it from her body. She howls in pain. I spit the paw out, and grab her by the neck, making a quick process of her as well.
