Uncle Benjamin was not happy when he came rushing in guns blazing. Mom and dad calmed him down before Kiara and I reached the living room, but he was up and angry again the moment he saw his daughter. Her eyes were still red and puffy, and she must have told him at least some of what happened that day, because the next thing I knew I was pressed up against the wall with his hands around my neck.
Luckily for me I am his King, and one fierce growl from Havoc and he was forced to submit. Kiara screamed at him to let me go, and then screamed at me for making him submit. I just raised an eyebrow at her, and shook my head in slight amusement. I reach for her hand, pulling her to me and kissing her head.
Uncle Benjamin watches us closely, asking what happened today. Kiara explains everything, while we sit down, from the day Mira and Mason showed up, our misunderstanding and not speaking for three days. He gives me a look of utter disappointment and anger by this point. frёewebnoѵēl.com
Kiara then explains about the kidnapping today and the rescue mission. She explains, with the help from me, about Magoth and Mira and how they look like they are working together.
By this point Amber enters the living room with Blaze and sits down beside Kiara. She puts her arm around my mate, who hugs her back.
"Have you forgiven him yet?" She asks, and I shoot her a look, which she ignores.
"No! But we’re working on it." Kiara answered. I hung my head knowing this is going to take time.
Uncle Benjamin then asked to see Mason. Kiara was worried he might kill him, but he assured her he wouldn’t touch a hair on his head. I followed him down into the dungeon, where he promptly banished and stripped Mason of his title as future Beta. He asked if Mason’s parents knew, which he denied. Uncle Benjamin then told me to do with Mason as I pleased. I nodded, following him back up. Mason kept yelling after us that we would regret this, but I don’t think so. He tried to kidnap my mate, actually succeeding with this at first, only to forcibly mark her and mate her. Death is awaiting him, and I really can’t wait.
Uncle Benjamin forced me aside when we came back up from the dungeon. He told me to stop being an asshole to his daughter, or he would take her back with him and disappear with her.
"I don’t care if you are my King now Maze. Kiara is my everything, besides Sami, and I will do anything and everything I find fitting to protect her and her heart. Start treating her right, or I will act!" Havoc growls, not liking this threat to us or our mate. He tries to force his way forward, but I keep him back. freewebnσvel.cѳm
"I know. And I respect you for telling me, but I do not like threats. Uncle or not." He gives me a curt nod, before walking back to the living room, where he tells Kiara what he did. He tells her goodbye and to keep better in touch. He looks at me while he says that. Kiara gets the hint and promises everything is alright. Uncle Benjamin snorts at that before hugging her and saying bye to the rest of us.
This was two days ago, and yesterday Amber came to me in the morning to tell me Mira tried to sneak into packlands after dark. I told her to wait, and mind-linked Kiara to meet us in my office. She was out by the stream with her friend Ryan. I know he is gay, but it still irks me a little that they are close. I know I’m ridiculous, and I haven’t told Kiara, nor will I, because I am also really happy she has someone outside me and Amber to trust.
"Kiara is on her way from the stream." I told Amber, who looks kind of proud. "Where is Blaze, by the way?"
"Taking a walk out by the stream." She answered and I laughed.
"Is your mate spying on mine?" I asked, and she shrugged. "Amber, Ryan is gay. He is not out, and I will respect Kiara’s wish to have him as a friend. He was there before I got my head out my ass." She shrugged again.
"Doesn’t mean Blaze can’t take a stroll by the stream." She answered with a coy smile. Outside I can hear some raised voices, and then my door bursts open with Kiara dragging Blaze by the ear. The big bad dragon boy following like a lost puppy, not that he has a choice, and saying OW repeatedly. I hid my laugh with my hand, but the amusement must have been evident anyway, because all three of them scowled at me.
"MAZE! I thought we were good. I thought we were working on things, and then you have him spy.." I raise both my hands in the air!
!It wasn’t me, angel. I swear on our matebond!" She huffs and puffs, before her eyes widen.
"YOU!" She screams at Amber. "AND YOU!" She turns her wrath on Blaze. "HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPY ON ME! RYAN IS MY FRIEND!" She has let go of Blaze’s ear by this point, and both him and my sister hang their heads.
"Sorry." They mumbled together. Kiara snorts.
"Although I appreciate the sentiment, there is no need to keep an eye on me. I will not let myself get kidnapped again or cheat on Maze. Ryan is a friend, nothing more and nothing less. His mate James is really sweet as well." She giggles when Blaze looks at her utterly confused before her words sink in.
"Fuck! I’m sorry, Kiara. I just.."
"Wanted to know how it is to be an asshat. It’s alright, Blaze." She says, coming over to sit on my lap. I welcome her with open arms, but pout anyway.
"Where is my apology?" I whine, and she kisses my cheek.
"Sorry, Alpha asshat." She says with a cheeky smile. I roll my eyes, turning my attention to Amber again.
"You were saying?"
"Mira tried to sneak back into pack territory again last night after nightfall. I caught her, knowing her cowardly ways. You need to do something."
"Did you capture her?" Amber shook her head.
"No, she had a talisman of some sort that teleported her away." I sigh. Fucking Mira!
"I, Alpha Maze Gold-moon Blue, King of werewolves, Alpha of the Silver Moon pack, along with my Luna Kiara Black, banish Mira Fallon, daughter of former Gammas Brandon and Morgan Fallon of the Silver Moon pack. If she steps foot in our pack again she will be killed on sight." I say with the formal words. My eyes automatically cloud over to tell my warriors of my decision. I know there will be a fallout with Brandon and Morgan, but I’ll have to cross that bridge when I come across it.
"Maze, what did you just do?" Kiara asks quietly. I kissed her cheek.
"What I should have done from the beginning."
