Amber’s POV
It’s been a month since Callum and Ashilia were born. They are so perfect, and we have been living in a little babymoon buble with the girls since we were allowed home from the hospital. We had to stay for a couple of days so they could monitor the twins, but they were doing so well, and the doctor was impressed with them from day one.
When we got home we called for Berion to ask him if he knew anything about what happened in the hospital, and he laughed.
"It seems like Solei and Selene both have blessed these two little angels themselves. But I can do a revealing ritual and see what beast is dormant in them?" We discussed it for a few minutes and decided to go with it. "So, this little Prince has a dragon spirit dormant in him, but he has traits of magic in him as well." He looks at me and smiles. "While this little Princess has a werewolf spirit inside her. She is the next Queen, but if you’re going to name her Queen of everything like her mother, or divide between them? They both have the power to rule. She also has magic in her, and it is stronger than in her brother." A small tear falls from my eyes. It’s not a decision we are going to make today.
I close my eyes as I think back to that day a month ago. We have talked about it multiple times, and we have agreed to see how they grow up. If Ashilia shows most potential then she’ll take it all, but if they both show potential, then we’ll divide it.
A knock on the door gets me out of my own head, and when it opens, Maze is standing in the doorway.
"Am I interrupting, sis?" He asks, and I shake my head. He walks in, a paper in his hands and I have an inkling of what this is about. "What is this?" He asks, showing me the paper with my signature on it. I sigh. He’s mad at me.
"I, Amber, the Queen of Fire and Magic, thereby relent my claim on reigning the werewolves faction. I transfer my powers, title and claim to my twin brother Maze, who will from this day forward be known as the King of werewolves." A small silver ball of light flows from me to Maze and sinks into him like water on a hot surface.
"Amber, what the hell? I am not King material. I have no mate, I’m a mess and I can’t." I walk to my panicking brother.
"Breathe, Maze! You are more than equipped to be King, and the mate thing will sort itself out. You are ready, and I will not have all the power to myself, when I can share it with you." I can feel the panic in him still, but it has lessened slightly.
"Are you sure? I wouldn’t want to take away.."
"Shut up and walk me to the chapel to meet dad." I say with a laugh. He laughs as well, and does as I say. Today I am in white, and the dress is amazing. The seamstress has overdone herself this time, which I kept telling her when I saw it for the first time. She laughed and told me it was only because of the new apprentices she’s got thanks to my decree. Everything’s coming together.
At the chapel dad, Merida and Glaciel are all waiting. The girls are holding my children, as they are holding them while we tie the knot, and then Maze will hold them one by one to get their blessing from the high priest. There’s a representative from both Selene and Solei present today, so as to not offend anyone.
"Ready, baby girl?" Dad asks, tears in his eyes, and I can honestly say I have never been more ready in my life. He locks eyes with Maze, bowing his head slightly to his son. "So, you did it today? Bravo, honey." He whispers in my ear, as Maze walks in, followed by the girls and my babies. They are both sleeping in the arms of their aunt, and I hope that’ll be the case throughout the ceremony, but we already spoke to the high priest about the babies, and I may have to take them or nurse them, and he told me to do what I had to.
The music starts, and the doors open. Everyone stands to greet me and dad, and he grabs my arm.
"I am so proud of you Amber! So proud." He says with a small smile, and I can’t help but choke up a bit. This is the happiest day of my life and all of my family is here to help me celebrate. My aunts and uncles are all here, my brother, my parents and my old friends from my pack. My new friends, my baby girls, their family, who are also my family, and all of the other Royals. The church is once again full of brightly colored people, while followers are hanging, standing and spread all over the church room. It is gorgeous.
At the altar my mates are waiting for me. Chase and Blaze take an arm each, turning us so we are face to face with the high priest.
"We are gathered here today to celebrate love, and marry these people under the blessing of our goddesses. We are here to unite two species, and tie the knot of mates chosen by the Sun and Moon Goddesses themselves." He looks down on us. "It has been a bumpy road to get to this point, and I must admit I myself have had thoughts about this union, but I can say with all sincerity that those doubts have been shamed. I know these three young people will be the best rulers we have ever had, and they will lead our Kingdom into a new era with love, compassion and wisdom beyond their years." He smiles. "Queen Amber, will you take King Chase and Prince Blaze as your loving husbands? Will you honor them, love them and fight alongside them to protect your people? Will you reign with them by your side, to the best of your abilities?"
"I do." I answer, while the guys squeeze my hands.
"King Chase and Prince Blaze, will you take Queen Amber as your loving wife? Will you honor her, love her and fight alongside her to protect your people? Will you reign beside her to the best of your abilities?"

"I now pronounce you hubands and wife. You may kiss her!" They both lean in on each side and kiss my cheek, making me giggle.
Afterwards the babies get their blessing, and we move on to the party. This has been the best day of my life so far, not counting when I had my children. The party is beautiful and everyone is talking to everyone. We laugh, eat and talk all evening. Glaciel and Merida having the babies, and bringing them when they are hungry, giving me some freedom to be with my loved ones for this one night. Soon the war will be upon us, and I hope we will be ready - but for tonight we are going to be happy and enjoy life.
