Chapter 628: Chapter 348: Nine-Turn Celestial Demon Technique at the Peak of Perfection! Divine Treasure Mountain!
Four Bodhisattvas, Vajra Store Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, Sunlight Bodhisattva, and Moonlight Bodhisattva, saw the Guanyin Avatar.
The Guanyin Avatar was dignified, with a fair and delicate face, eyebrows like willow leaves, a red and smooth mouth, wearing pure white monk’s robes, emitting a pure white radiance.
When the four Bodhisattvas saw the Guanyin Avatar, Guanyin was calmly sitting on a lotus platform preaching the Dharma.
Below the lotus platform, listening to the Dharma, were a group of Spirit Mountain Bhikkhus, Arhats, and Dharma Guardian Deities.
Among them were both humans and demons.
But whether human or demon, they raised their heads, their eyes showing yearning, looking at Guanyin.
The Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi swirled around, raising a gentle breeze, quietly entering the bodies of these listeners.
And from these cultivators, wisps of almost imperceptible pale white light drifted out, converging toward the Guanyin Avatar.
Some Spirit Mountain Gods and Buddhas found that preaching to people could give birth to a power on the preacher that helped with their own cultivation.
This is also why so many Upper Realm Gods and Buddhas enjoy gathering to preach the Dharma.
Of course, not every God or Buddha has the strength to preach.
After all, preaching can significantly change the thoughts and behaviors of listeners, possibly causing significant karmic consequences.
For Spirit Mountain Gods and Buddhas, significant karmic consequences might generate significant karmic force.
And significant karmic force might harm the cultivation of Upper Realm Gods and Buddhas.
Therefore, only Bodhisattvas and Buddhas with a good understanding of the Dharma and who can control the listeners dare to preach.
The Guanyin Avatar, seeing Vajra Store Bodhisattva and others approaching, said to the crowd of cultivators below: "Comprehend on your own the essentials of the Dharma just explained."
Then, the white light on the avatar intensified.
The body floated up lightly, revealing a pair of bare feet below, the white monk’s robe fluttering with the wind.
Vajra Store Bodhisattva, seeing the Guanyin Avatar floating away, also ascended, following the Guanyin Avatar.
...
Vajra Store Bodhisattva and the four Bodhisattvas followed the Guanyin Avatar to a lotus pond.
The Guanyin Avatar and the four Bodhisattvas each chose a lotus platform the size of a meditation cushion to sit on.
The lotus sank slightly but did not break.
"The Great Mighty Celestial Dragon is dead," Vajra Store Bodhisattva said directly upon sitting down.
Hearing this, the Guanyin Avatar showed no expression, keeping a benevolent yet aloof face, and asked softly, "Who killed him?"
Vajra Store Bodhisattva replied, "We have not yet used Destiny Communication to perceive it."
He paused and then asked the Guanyin Avatar, "How is your true form?"
The Guanyin Avatar replied expressionlessly, "The true form is currently engaged in a Dharma duel with Doumu Yuanjun, and it is hard to determine victory or defeat at the moment."
Upon hearing this, Vajra Store Bodhisattva and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, Sunlight Bodhisattva, and Moonlight Bodhisattva exchanged glances.
The three Bodhisattvas accompanying Vajra Store Bodhisattva were similar, each remarkably distinct in appearance.
Vajra Store Bodhisattva appeared as a teenage boy.
He wore a jeweled crown on his head, with long hair cascading naturally.
He was clad in loose monk’s robes, exposing much of his flat chest.
This youth’s body was somewhat slender and delicate.
Sunlight Bodhisattva had a halo like the sun behind his head.
Rays of light emanated from it.
This radiance was exceedingly dazzling.
If people from the Small World saw the halo behind Sunlight Bodhisattva’s head, they would likely go blind.
However, this radiance did not affect Spirit Mountain cultivators.
Other sect cultivators above the Merging Realm, if their cultivation was insufficient, would only feel discomfort upon seeing this halo, but they wouldn’t go blind.
Moonlight Bodhisattva was a monk with a gentle, feminine face.
In the center of his forehead was a small crescent-like mark.
His entire body emitted a kind of moon-like glow.
If people from the Small World approached him, they would feel a chill emanating from their blood and bone marrow.
Yet, Spirit Mountain cultivators could resist this chilling aura.
Hearing the words of the Guanyin Avatar, all four Bodhisattvas understood that Guanyin could not personally intervene in the matter of who killed the Great Mighty Dragon Bodhisattva.
"Then why are you here?" the Guanyin Avatar asked.
Vajra Store Bodhisattva replied, "We wish to ask the Great One to use your power to perceive this person’s location."
The Guanyin Avatar internally sneered, showing no expression, only replying indifferently, "Are you afraid of being entangled by karmic force and unwilling to spend time removing it, so you’ve come to find me?"
"However, my avatar doesn’t possess great strength and might not be able to endure the karmic force."
"Why don’t we sense it together?"
Hearing the Guanyin Avatar’s words, Vajra Store Bodhisattva and the others exchanged glances.
They indeed harbored personal motives in seeking the Guanyin Avatar.
They feared too many karmic entanglements connected to the person who killed the Great Mighty Dragon Bodhisattva.
If they used Destiny Communication on that person, they feared being heavily burdened by karma.
This would generate a lot of karmic force, and removing it would be labor-intensive.
Moreover, eliminating karmic force actually entails expelling a portion of their essence qi, which contains the karmic force, from their bodies.
In other words, they would expend essence qi when clearing away the karmic force.
Thus, they naturally didn’t want to perform Destiny Communication themselves.
They relayed this information to the Guanyin Avatar, hoping Guanyin would use Destiny Communication.
But Guanyin did not fall for it.
Instead, suggested they collectively use Destiny Communication.
As the head of Spirit Mountain Bodhisattvas, Guanyin’s status and cultivation were even higher than some of Spirit Mountain’s Buddhas.
They dared not disobey Guanyin’s words.
Thus, Vajra Store Bodhisattva and the others performed a Buddha Seal.
