The elites frowned, and Julian stepped forward to question, "Is something wrong—"
A violent scream tore through the forest.

Everyone turned their heads toward her, and she slowly shook her head.
Her lips parted, and she mumbled while trembling, "W-We are going to die..."
"What are you talking about?" Lukas asked with furrowed brows.
"It... It’s a monster," she answered darkly.
Everyone’s expression instantly turned somber.
Unlike Players who, upon reaching level 1, were given the choice of Mana Pool or Aura Heart, beasts had a chance to form theirs after reaching E.

Naria stood hiding behind the trunk of a thick tree with her palms pressed tightly on her mouth to make sure that no voice could escape her lips.
A dozen steps away from her was a four-legged entity the size of a horse with deep red fur full of scars, four jagged fangs dripping with slimy black, a whip-like tail, and two bloodshot eyes.
Faint black mist revolved around it as it looked around in search of its prey, which had managed to slip by.

Naria straightened her back and replied, "It doesn’t matter. You still saved me, and I am very thankful for that."
"Do not think much of it," he muttered and added as he turned around, "Return to the city."
Naria frowned.
"What about you?"
His lips stretched into a wide grin, and he said, "We have to return tomorrow, you know? Someone has to keep the place clean."
Her face turned confused. "What—"
Before she could even finish, he was already sprinting toward the monster.
