Chapter 81: Essence Ocean Stage’s Pitiful Stats
Misho entered the room with his group. The room was pretty tame compared to what Misho expected it to be for a room of four. But it made sense since it was only 3 Gold Coins to rent such a room for a night.
The room was quite spacious, with two queen-sized beds separated by a gap in the middle. There were candles on the bedside table. It was quite interesting compared to the LED lamps in the real world.
"I will check on my cultivation. You can all do whatever you want," Misho said and crossed his legs on one of the beds.
"Oh! What is cultivation, Father?" Flora asked.
She was able to evolve from a flower, but she had no idea what it was. She only had an instinct about it.
"What race are you since you are from a flower? You’re probably a Dryad, right?"
"Race... I don’t know what that is," Flora said and shook her head.
"Try absorbing the Plant Mana in the air and compressing it in your belly. Maisha, can you teach her?"
"I will try," Maia replied.
Misho nodded his head at her and closed his eyes.
He focused inside his belly. He immediately noticed the thick clouds of Wind Mana hovering above his Essence Sea.
Misho took control of the thick clouds and caused them to condense. A heavy downpour of rain occurred inside his body and expanded his Essence Sea by several more times.
Before long, his Essence Sea was too large for him to view it all. He had to fly higher just to barely see the edges.
And when the clouds disappeared, he felt a different sensation spread through his whole body.
–––––––––––
Essence Ocean Stage reached!
The sea of essence inside you became a small ocean. Congratulations! You have reached a peak higher than Tier 1 but still below Tier 2. You have gained a tiny qualification for a higher tier.
–––––––––––
"Huh? Qualification for a higher tier?"
Misho was beyond confused by the last line. Does that mean he didn’t have a qualification to reach Tier 2? But he already finished the Tier 2 Quest.
"Congratulations, Quarter Pounder. I knew that you could do it," Aphrodite said and smiled at him.
"Thanks. It’s because of your advice," Misho replied.
"Hehe."
"Where are you? I want to see your cute face," Misho asked as he looked around the dark space around him.
"I will show up after you reach Essence Whirlpool," Aphrodite replied.
"Why do you keep teasing me?"
"Because you might do something weird to me..."
"I won’t, okay?"
"But you did it with those two so violently..."
"It was your idea, wasn’t it!?" Misho retorted.
"Hehehe. Did I?"
"..."
"You can now check your brand new stats," Aphrodite said to change the topic.
Misho didn’t hesitate and immediately opened it after her reminder.

"What the... For all of that effort? It only increased my HP by 3???"
Misho almost lost his mind after seeing the minimal increase in his stats. He felt like he had wasted a lot of time.
"Relax, Quarter Pounder. It may only have increased your stats by a little, but it will serve as a great foundation for you in the future," Aphrodite said.
"What foundation? Would that even matter if I sucked?"
Misho was upset.
"It will be your greatest asset in the future. Trust me."
Aphrodite appeared in front of Misho. She clasped his cheeks with her palms and stared straight into his eyes.
Misho slowly calmed down after looking through her eyes. He realized she wasn’t that type of person. She was given to him to make his game life better.
"How would it help me in the future? Explain in detail," Misho asked.
He needed an explanation to calm his restless heart.
"I’m sorry, but I can’t answer that question. One day, you will thank me," Aphrodite said as she smiled faintly.
"But..."
"It’s okay if you don’t trust me now. You can change your cultivation and force your Essence Ocean to return to Essence Sea and jump to Tier 2."
The kind smile on Aphrodite’s face made Misho double-think about it. She looked very confident about her own words.
"Besides, don’t you want to k-kiss and hug me..." Aphrodite blushed.
Misho took a deep breath and pulled her hands off his face.
"I understand. I will trust you."
Misho was already at this stage. If he didn’t trust Aphrodite now, he would never be able to trust her in the future. Not to mention, he had already spent a lot of effort in reaching the Essence Ocean Stage.
"Thank you."
Aphrodite smiled and scattered into particles of light that dissipated to nothing.
"*Sigh*"
Misho sighed and shook his head.
He left the inside of his body and opened his eyes.
He looked around the room and found Maia sitting beside him. PearChasm and Flora were nowhere to be found.
"Maia," Misho called out.
"Mm?"
Maia opened her eyes and looked over at him.
"Did you reach Essence Ocean too?" he asked.
"I barely did. I also got the Cuckquean achievement..."
Maia blushed at her own words. Her kink was something she wasn’t used to yet.
"I also reached Essence Ocean. The stats increase was low, right?"
"Yes. It’s pitifully low, but I think I understand."
"What do you mean?"
"I think it will give us more mana at the higher tiers if we keep this up," Maia said.
"Huh..." ƒгeewёbnovel.com
Her words reminded him of the web novels he had read. Some of them had something similar where the MC would gain more strength in the latter stages because of the better cultivation they had in their lower cultivation levels.
"I think you’re right."
Misho was amazed at Maia’s ability to understand the crux of it. He realized that he tunnel-visioned because he focused too much on the small amount of stats increase.
