PearChasm grabbed Vin’s shoulders and leaned on his back.
"What is it?" she asked.
"I think Quarter wouldn’t like it," Vinguard replied.
"Vin~"
"No."
Misho felt happy as he watched them bicker. He found Vinguard really nice. At least, he didn’t leak his player name.
"Wait, just add me! I will accept it!" PearChasm said to Misho.
"I will add you after this," Misho replied politely.
"Wait, hehe. Don’t tell me you want something in return?" PearChasm asked and touched her lip seductively.
"Quarter, payback."
Misho turned his head to Maia in confusion before he suddenly felt something soft assault his lips. He realized she was kissing him. Maia pushed a tongue inside his mouth and passionately kissed him.
The party of five was stunned by the sudden PDA. It was too sudden that they couldn’t react. [AN: Public Display of Affection.]
After a few seconds, Maia stopped and pulled away.
"Maisha..?"
Misho touched his lips and stared at her in confusion.
"I told you I would get you back for it. Hehe," Maia giggled.
Misho remembered her getting upset when he kissed her in public. He frowned at her and pinched her cheek.
"You brat."
"Oww!"
Maia pulled his hand off her cheek and looked at him pitifully. She was upset at him bullying her. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
"*Cough* We have to keep going. The sun will set in an hour," Vinguard reminded the two lovebirds.
"Right."
Misho nodded his head and walked ahead of her.
Maia followed behind him with a frown as she rubbed her aching cheek.
Meanwhile, PearChasm was stunned at them. She had an existential crisis because of it. She questioned herself why she couldn’t be so assertive.
"Your seduction didn’t work for once," LaserMagnet gloated beside her.
"Geez! Not you too!"
"Haha!"

The group continued for half an hour and arrived on a small mound. There was a small cave beside it made with mud leading deep into the earth.
Maia carried nine Mild Spring Herb. They were only missing one more before they needed to return.
"Oh. The last one is here."
Misho plucked the last Mild Spring Herb on the mound and gave it to Maia.
"We’re finally done!" Maia rejoiced.
"Yes. We can finally return." Misho smiled at her.
"I believe it’s here..." Vinguard said and crouched down near the cave.
He pulled out a small metal plate with numbers inscribed on it.
"Got it. This is the proof that we had been here."
"Lemme see!" PearChasm said and took it from him.
"Okay. Move away, everyone. I will start the poison ball and throw it inside," Vinguard warned them.
Everyone moved back, and Vinguard pressed a button on the poison ball and threw it hard into the cave.
"Let’s go!"
Vinguard urged them, and they ran away. They quickly left the area, and the sun started setting.
"Perfect timing. We should take a break. Do the two of you have any food?" Vinguard asked.
"We ran out of money when we needed it," Misho awkwardly replied.
It felt bad to be poor.
"We can share our portions. You guys are pretty nice," Vinguard said.
"Thank you. We’re pretty hungry," Misho replied.
He felt glad to receive his kindness.
And so, they picked an area enclosed by the tree of grasses and sat in a circle. Vinguard and the others shared some of their bread with them.
After having a fill, Misho and Maia felt tired. Misho cut down a grass tree and used it as their bed. It was fluffy with all of the leaves stacked together.
"Goodnight, Maia."
"Goodnight, Misho."

Misho and Maia logged out.
Misho exited his capsule and sat on his bed. It felt surreal now that he was back in his room. He was just out in the wild.
"The game is so amazing."
Misho couldn’t say anything more. He was beyond impressed.
He didn’t feel tired because of the special ability of the capsule. He stretched his body and contacted Maia.
"Maia?"
Maia appeared through a blue hologram on top of Misho’s phone.
[Do you want to check the forum together?] Maia asked.
"Why not? I also want to know what’s going on outside," Misho replied.
He opened up the forum website. A forum post caught his attention.
"’Post Maid Videos Here To Compete’, authored by Veras Corp."
Misho and Maia clicked on it from both of their ends.

Misho and Maia were surprised at the huge amount of upvotes for the CEO’s comment. It seemed like a lot of players preferred to lurk instead of participating in the comments section.

Hello, fellow gamers,
I have many friends, and I researched it myself. The continent we are on is called the Inceptor Continent. There are only Tier 1 to Tier 2 cultivators here. Most of the Tier 2 cultivators are rulers of kingdoms.
This meant that we would need to travel somewhere if we wanted to reach Tier 3! I suspect there are more continents out there for us to explore. I’m so excited! Please message me if you know something.
