Chapter 26: Chapter 26 - Sucking

The flying car lowered from the sky and landed on the street. Vincent stepped out from the car, feeling dizzy.

It wasn’t fun at all. His excitement was quickly shattered by the reality of the flying car displayed by Jason.

You don’t need to have a license to get the flying car as the car has the automatic driving system.

But Vincent wondered what if someone managed to gain control over every flying car in the world. Someone evil.

He couldn’t imagine the carnage that would be caused by this.

He smacked the side of his head. ’Why am I thinking so dark? Stay positive, Vin. Stay positive. This world needs a warm soul like me.’

"So where is the person we are going to meet?" Vincent asked.

"That is the problem. He is a crafty bastard."

"I thought he was your informant." Vincent asked, looking around.

They were in the downtown area of the city. The street wasn’t clean like from the upper side and filled with trash and strange things.

And people walking on the sidewalk were all hung up. A few were sleeping on their makeshift bed on the side of the street.

He even saw a few drug users laying around.

"Nah, I don’t have any of those. I don’t like to pay those bastards but I can see having them by the side so I make a deal with a few low rank thugs." Jason sighed, stepping out from the car.

"This one is special. He loved money."

"I don’t have money to bribe him." Vincent put this out from the front.

"Don’t worry, we just need to find him. I will handle the rest."

Vincent covered his face against the sunlight. "I don’t think he is active at this time."

"That is why he is special. Come on. Follow me, rookie." Jason said, locking the door. He crossed the street without looking.

Vincent sighed and ran up to the middle aged detective. He didn’t know whether he and Jason were clicking at all.

He needed to learn about this.

If possible, he would like to make friends with the drug lord for special reasons.

They turned left and sharply turned to the corner, walking beside the two trash bins. Vincent cursed.

"Fucking hell, I am going to sink like a rat."

"Haha. Get used to it, rookie."

After passing through the trash bins, they walked past the homeless people again. They went deeper into the alleyway and stopped at the random door.

Jason came up to the door and knocked violently.

Then, he looked through the peephole and smiled, showing a white grin. He didn’t look like an outstanding citizen with that smile.

"Open up the fucking door or I will raid this shitty place."

The door suddenly swung open, crushing to Jason’s face.

Luckily, Vincent moved fast and grabbed Jason by the collar and pulled him away.

A huge man with an impressive body came out, his face was filled with a knife scar and he was squinted. First glanced and Vincent immediately assumed the fighting stance.

Jason stopped him and walked over to the huge man, tilting his head to the side like some sort of gangster.

He pushed his finger to the man’s chest. "Fuck, man. You could have broken my nose."

"I am sorry, Jason. I will do better next time."

"Fuck you. And move away. I want a drink."

Vincent dropped down his arms and walked behind Jason. They walked past the bodyguard and arrived inside.

It was a bar.

He didn’t know what he expected this place to be but it was just a regular bar. There was no naked dancing lady, swinging around the pole.

No crazy drug junkies.

Just a regular bar.

"Don’t let it deceive your eyes, rookie. You should see what the night looks like here." Jason scoffed and walked over to the bartender.

It was a middle aged woman with seductive eyes. She was placing the alcohol on the back but her body moved with grace, showing out the impressive thing on her back.

"Hey, Benny." Jason called out, knocking on the table.

Benny turned around, putting away the drifting hair to the side. Her eyes widened and kissed Jason to the cheeks.

"Nice to see you, detective. Early drink?"

"Nah, I swear I will never touch a drink last week.

"Aww... you must be thirsty..but you will always support me right?" Benny moved her hand to Jason’s arm and twirled around, playing seductively.

Her eyes moved past Jason and landed on Vincent.

"Who is this handsome young man?"

"Meet my new partner. His name is Vincent. Hey rookie, this one is Benny, she is a bartender here. But you will only see her in the morning."

Vincent nodded and took the seat. "I guess men can’t control themselves at night."

Jason shook his head, looking at Vincent, admiring the innocent rookie.

"She is known as the man eater. The reason she doesn’t work at night was because instead of serving the alcohol, she enjoyed herself. Got it."

"Ah." Vincent nodded.

"Wanna see my technique, young detective?" Benny turned her attention on Vincent and grabbed his hand, moving around his fingers.

She lifted up his hand and put the finger on her mouth and bit it softly.

Vincent smiled and looked at her eyes.

She sucked the finger.

Vincent felt her tongue moving around, touching his finger. He wondered how good he would feel if she suck the real deal.

He gulped, trying to stop himself from imagining.

Jason pulled out his hand and smiled. "Enough with the teasing, Benny. I come here to work. No. We come here to work, right?"

"Correct, sir." Vincent answered, wiping the saliva with the napkin.

"No fun at all, Jason." Benny pulled back her head and winked at Vincent. "So why are you here?"

"I am looking for Jackal."

"The skinny one?"

"Another Jackal appear? Of course, it is a skinny one." Jason sighed.

"Then, you are lucky. Wait for..." Benny paused and looked down at her watch. "Two hours here. He will come looking for a drink."

"How do you know that?"

"He promised me and nobody broke a promise to me." Benny smiled.

"Good enough. Looks like you and I have to spend time here, rookie." Jason said, turning around. "Wanna grab a drink with me or do you want to spend time with the sexy bartender?" freewebnøvel.coɱ

Vincent pulled away his head and worked his mind, contemplating the choices.

Obviously, spending time with Benny would grant him a bliss similar to heaven. She showed off her skill and he was impressed by it, very much.

But drinking with Jason would give him the insight into his partner. And it was important for him. Who knows, maybe he will hear some interesting things.

Decision. Guess sometimes, the hardest decision requires the strongest mind.

"I will have to decline the good time with Benny." Vincent said, coughing.

"Good to see self control." Benny clapped her hands and took out the two glasses from the shelves.

She didn’t mind the rejection at all. For a woman like her, there were men lining up. Just one call and she could run through a dozen men.

She then took out the ice cold beer and put it in front of her. "On the house for the little detective."

Vincent grabbed the beer and smiled. "You will be here next time right?"

"Of course."
