Chapter 92: Wanted Poster

The next day, Tang Yin woke up from bed, got dressed and changed his appearance. Tang Yin did not immediately go rushing to the gambling dens, he walked around Treasure Bank City for a bit to take in the fresh breeze. It had been a long time since he had carelessly breathed in a breath of fresh air without any worries on his mind.

After a while, Tang Yin continued walking around Treasure Bank City. Just as he was about to head to a gambling den after a nice walk, he noticed something. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

On a large billboard situated on a random corner of a street, there were many types of posters and propaganda put on it, including wanted people. Tang Yin saw his own face on one of the wanted posters!

Tang Yin walked up to the billboard and carefully looked at the wanted poster describing him. What he saw made endless coldness and Killing Intent brew within him.

The wanted poster had a picture of him drawn on it, this was his real face with crimson hair, black eyes and a handsome face. Tang Yin did not use the Heaven Deceiving Art when he encountered the Great Elder of the Drifting Cloud Sect.

There was no name on the wanted poster as Tang Yin did not divulge this information to the Great Elder of the Drifting Cloud Sect, he was silent most of the time.

Lastly, there was a price of 10 High-grade Spirit Stones on his head.

This price would not normally stand out as there were many wanted people with a hefty bounty on their heads. However, most of these people were very strong and not worth offending for a small reward.

On the other hand, Tang Yin stood out like a sore thumb. It was clearly stated in the wanted poster that his cultivation was at the 7th stage of the Physique Transformation Realm. Killing a Physique Transformation Realm cultivator for 10 High-grade Spirit Stones was very worth it. A single High-grade Spirit Stone was very valuable in the eyes of Physique Transformation Realm cultivators let alone 10.

The reason why Tang Yin was so sure this wanted poster of him was posted by the Drifting Cloud Sect was because at a visible location in a corner of the poster was a signature of the Drifting Cloud Sect, proving its authenticity.

Tang Yin did not plan to go after the Drifting Cloud Sect. However, after seeing this, he changed his mind. Tang Yin withdrew his Killing Intent, turned around and walked slowly to his destination, the gambling den.

An hour later, Tang Yin arrived at a gambling den. The gambling den was not a building, but a tent. There was a large sign on the side of the tent displaying ’Hu’s Gambling Den’. Most families would use their own family name in their gambling den to show any gamblers which gambling dens belonged to them, it was also a way to flaunt their wealth. Clearly, this gambling den belonged to the Rank 2 Hu family.

Tang Yin did not want to bother with gambling dens belonging to Rank 1 families. This was mainly because he had a higher chance of finding Gambling Stones containing treasure inside the gambling dens of Rank 2 families. Tang Yin would visit the inferior gambling dens belonging to Rank 1 families when he finished clearing out the gambling dens belonging to Rank 2 families.

Tang Yin entered the gambling den, the structure of the den was very simple. There were multiple large tables placed in rows, on each table were Gambling Stones of various sizes and colours. Each table was also labelled, for example, the first table was named ’Table 1’, the second table was named ’Table 2’ vice versa.

The tent was very large, it had enough space to accommodate 20 tables with lots of remaining space for many people to walk around unhindered and freely. The gambling den was not empty, there were many cultivators of various levels of cultivation walking around inspecting the Gambling Stones. Some cultivators were alone while others were in duos or groups.

There were also 2 guards at the entrance to the gambling den, both were cultivators at the lower stages of the Physique Transformation Realm. A peak Spirit Channelling Realm cultivator was also stationed to overlook each table. This was mainly as a formality and to make the gambling den look organized and secure. Cultivators could not determine the contents of a Gambling Stone, they could only see the veins and patterns on the surface of the stone. This made it so cultivators could only gamble on any Gambling Stone they believed to potentially contain a treasure.

Even if cultivators somehow managed to steal a Gambling Stone, the chances of it containing any treasures would be low. The chances of getting caught on the other hand were high, so most cultivators would not steal Gambling Stones based on the risk-to-reward ratio.

There was no welcome or even any glances, it was as if Tang Yin did not exist. Most of the cultivators were either inspecting a Gambling Stone or whispering to each other. The guards only briefly glanced at him before averting their gaze. The gambling den was silent with a few occasional murmurs or whispers being passed around.

Most cultivators were whispering because they did not wish for others near them to hear their opinion on a Gambling Stone. Some cultivators could eavesdrop to listen to other cultivators’ evaluations of a Gambling Stone and snatch it up before anyone else. Although this was a risky move as some evaluations could be false, there were some cultivators who would use others’ expertise to their benefit.

This was not surprising for Tang Yin, although he did not expect a gambling den to be like this, it was sort of similar. Tang Yin did not approach anybody or do anything flashy, he walked around the gambling den to inspect the Gambling Stones like all the other cultivators.
