"Alright, what do you need?" Xiao Fei asked enthusiastically, the quicker she helped Tang Yin complete his task, the quicker she would receive her treasures.

"Summon all of the Demonic Beasts you subdued over here." Tang Yin stated his need.

Xiao Fei flew up, transformed into her black phoenix form and let out a sharp screech which resounded throughout the mountain range.

Every Demonic Beast that heard the screech dropped what they were doing and rushed to the source of the screech. It did not matter whether they were eating their prey, hunting, or sleeping. They immediately answered Xiao Fei’s summon.

A huge stampede brewed within the mountain range, the stampede of Demonic Beasts rushed towards a single area. Some of the weak smaller Demonic Beasts were even trampled on.

Within a few minutes, Tang Yin’s cave abode was surrounded by herds of Demonic Beasts. They all knelt down, not to Tang Yin but to Xiao Fei.

They had various expressions of fear, respect, zealousness etc. Tang Yin was not bothered, he sent a thought to Xiao Fei using their connection and activated the Heaven Devouring Abyss.

Xiao Fei spat out an ocean of Everlasting Hell Flames, it was smaller in size compared to the one she used in Drifting Cloud Sect, but it still held similar might.

The Demonic Beasts remained in their kneeling positions and allowed the black flames to drown them. Tang Yin used Devour, the innate ability of the Heaven Devouring Abyss. The dull black vortex with sparks of black and red lightning shrouded some of the corpses of the Demonic Beasts before swiftly devouring them.

The Heaven Devouring Abyss devoured the blood, flesh, bones and beast soul of every Demonic Beast corpse without leaving anything behind. With each corpse it devoured, the Heaven Devouring Abyss grew by a noticeable chunk.

After 40% of the corpses were devoured, the Heaven Devouring Abyss returned to its original size, it was no longer dull. It had even grown by a slightly noticeable amount, this allowed Tang Yin to confirm his hypothesis and learn of something which made him excited.

The Heaven Devouring Abyss grew by a bit after he condensed his first spirit vein. It would also mean that the Heaven Devouring Abyss would grow slightly bigger when he condensed his next spirit vein. Although the amount would be minimal with each spirit vein if it was accumulated to 999 spirit veins...

The thought alone made Tang Yin develop goosebumps.

"Don’t let the rest of the corpses go to waste. I will be back to Devour them soon." Tang Yin casually said to Xiao Fei before striding back into his cave abode.

Tang Yin sat down cross-legged in the cave and summoned the Heaven Devouring Abyss once more. He used the method described in the Heaven Devouring Abyssal Sanskrit to condense his second spirit vein.

The Heaven Devouring Abyss surged into his body before Tang Yin swiftly cut off the flow. He then compressed and condensed the part of the Heaven Devouring Abyss inside his body into the faint outline of a spirit vein.

Tang Yin then let the Heaven Devouring Abyss flow into his body slowly as he compressed and condensed the spirit vein. With each condensation, the Heaven Devouring Abyss grew smaller and duller from its peak state. When the Heaven Devouring Abyss was reduced to only 60% of its original size, a quiet bang reverberated in Tang Yin’s body.

He had successfully condensed his second spirit vein. A thick black vein appeared on Tang Yin’s left forearm, it gave him a strange appearance.
