Chapter 68: Chapter 68: No Male Orc are Allowed!

The military spaceship finally broke through the clouds of the suspended temple, gliding toward the floating platforms of the temple. freeweɓnøvel.com

Yue Yue was glued to the window, her eyes wide as she saw the massive white marble structures held up by ancient gravity-defying technology. It was beautiful, serene, and absolutely massive. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

"We’re here, Yue Yue," Han Soi said, standing right behind her. He didn’t look at the scenery; his eyes were fixed solely on her, watching the way the sunlight hit her hair. He felt a strange unease in his gut, but he dismissed it as lingering worry over the Twin Pirates.

After all, he was here with her, and nothing would go wrong.

The ship docked on the suspended platform designated for outsider arrivals. The landing process was smooth. As the ramp lowered, Yue Yue skipped down, her feet hitting the cool, polished stone.

She was like a child in a candy store, spinning around to take in the tall spires and the scent of exotic flowers that bloomed in the air.

A male servant from the Temple, dressed in pristine white and gold robes, approached them to allocate their living quarters.

When the servant looked up to greet them, he froze. He had seen many beautiful high-ranking females, but Yue Yue’s beauty was something different...she was so pure, radiant, and hypnotic. She has a unique charm.

Before the servant could even offer a second glance, he felt a chilling, murderous aura wash over him.

Han Soi was staring him down with eyes like ice. The servant immediately lowered his gaze, his heart hammering in fear, and gestured for them to follow.

"Please follow me. I will take you to your assigned palace," the servant said, his voice trembling slightly.

They walked through archways carved with ancient symbols until they reached a magnificent gate made of silver vines.

Yue Yue was touching the carvings, excited to see the luxury. But as she stepped through the gate and Han Soi followed, the male servant suddenly blocked his path.

"My Lord, please stop," the servant said, bowing but firm. "You cannot enter this place."

Han Soi’s gaze darkened instantly. A low, dangerous growl rumbled in his chest. "What did you say? She is my female. I am her husband. Where she goes, I go."

The male servant did not flinch, which was strange for someone facing an SSS-rank orc.

"I apologize, but the rules of the Temple are absolute. This palace is designated strictly for females attending the ceremony. No outsiders are allowed...not even husbands, brothers, or fathers. No male Orcs may cross this silver gate."

Yue Yue, who had already wandered inside, heard the commotion and ran back. She looked at the servant with a bewildered and frightened expression. "Why? Why can’t he come in? I’m not staying here alone!"

She grabbed Han Soi’s arm, clinging to him. He was her pillar of support, the only one she truly trusted in this strange world.

Han Soi was equally stunned. He had never been to the Temple before and didn’t realize the rules were so segregated and archaic.

"This is nonsense," Han Soi spat, his aura flaring up. The air around him began to distort from the sheer pressure of his SSS-rank power. "I will not leave my wife unprotected."

Suddenly, several more male servants appeared from the shadows, their expressions filled with coldness. They didn’t seem to care about his rank.

"Refusing the orders of the Temple can lead to a death sentence," one of them said in a formal, monotone voice.

"Disturbing the peace of the females is a crime against the rule of the temple. No amount of power can save you from the Temple’s judgment."

The atmosphere became incredibly tense.

Other females began to peek out from their balconies and gates, curious about the commotion.

Han Soi’s gaze snapped toward them. He realized that if he released his full power here, in a place filled with high-status females, he would be labeled a criminal across all four empires.

His expression clenched. He was a Duke, but even a King had to follow the laws when stepping into the Temple’s domain. If he made more trouble, he would definitely be kicked out, and then he wouldn’t be able to protect Yue Yue at all.

His heart softened when he looked at Yue Yue’s innocent, scared face. He couldn’t risk being separated from the planet entirely. He had to act according to their rules, no matter how much his blood boiled.

He gritted his teeth so hard they nearly cracked. He leaned down and pressed a firm, lingering kiss on Yue Yue’s forehead.

"Yue Yue, listen to me. Take care of yourself inside. I will be right outside this gate. I won’t go anywhere. I will be the first thing you see when you step out."

Yue Yue’s eyes welled with tears, her fingers clenching his sleeve tightly. She didn’t want to let go. The thought of being in this massive palace without his protective presence made her feel small and vulnerable.

"Esteemed female, please do not worry," the male servant said, his tone softening slightly.

"This entire palace is guarded by the Temple’s most elite guards. Nothing will happen to you. No male from the outside is allowed to disturb the rest of any female here. You are safer here than anywhere else in the galaxy."

Yue Yue slowly let go of Han Soi’s sleeve, her lips trembling. She felt like a lost kitten.

Han Soi’s hands were fisted at his sides, his eyes burning with a mix of rage and protective agony as he watched the silver gates begin to close.

"I’ll be right here!" he shouted as the heavy doors shut, locking his wife away in a world where he couldn’t follow.

Han Soi stood in front of the gate for a long time, his expression so dark that the servants moved far away from him.

He was a beast who had just been separated from his heart, and with each passing second, he wanted to rip apart the silver gate.
