Yue Yue froze when she saw the notification floating above the bathtub.
Her eye twitched. Her fingers tightened around the glass. Her entire relaxed queen like expression collapsed into pure rage.
"This damn system!" she exploded. "Can’t it let me enjoy my luxurious life for one second?! Just one! Is that too much to ask?!"
She slapped the water, roses jumping like terrified survivors.
It was like the system had waited for her to reach peak happiness just so it could throw a bucket of cold water right on her head. And it didn’t even feel sorry. Not even a little.
But what truly made her chest tighten wasn’t the system’s evil timing.
It was the line:

Her face immediately drained of color.
"One day and twenty three hours..." she whispered, her voice trembling. "How... how am I supposed to extend that?! I don’t want to die!"
Panic surged through her entire body. She sat up suddenly, splashing water everywhere.
And she remembered after completing the first main mission there was a second mission, but at that time Han Soi was coming so she was not able to see it.
And after that she completely forgot about it.
"System! Show me my next mission! RIGHT NOW!"
The system didn’t even pretend to hesitate.

A new panel popped up in front of her eyes.

Yue Yue stared at the title.
Then... COUGH! COUGH!!
She choked so hard the juice shot down the wrong pipe. Her throat burned, tears spilled out, and she slapped her chest wildly.
She wasn’t just choking on juice.
She was choking on life.
"What... cough... what did I just read?!"
She blinked rapidly, tears falling like raindrops, and rubbed her eyes with both hands.
But no matter how many times she wiped them...
The title didn’t change.
She had to mate with the first villain.
Immediately her anger shot through the roof.
"What kind of nonsense is this?! Has the system gone completely MAD?!"
Mate with him?
They had only lived for a short period of time and she had realised he was not that bad and even very good with her, but that did not mean she would mate with him just like that.
Was the system a pervert?
Yes. Now she was absolutely sure. First the kiss and now it jumped directly to mating... not even hold hands or something like that.
"Are you insane?! What kind of mission is this?!" she yelled at the floating panel. "Do you think I’m the kind of female who drags handsome males around?!"
Never in her life.
In her mind, mating was something sacred. Something serious. A ritual like thing that tied two souls together. How could she randomly go mate someone... especially him?
She crossed her arms, shaking with disbelief.
"And what about him?! Does He even want to mate me?! How can I force him?! Has the system finally lost its mind?!"
If she could, she would drag that damn system out of whatever black hole it was hiding in and beat the nonsense out of it.
But she couldn’t.
So she could only glare at the glowing panel like it had personally ruined her life.
The system gave her no reply like usual, making her feel she was talking with a wall.
Yue Yue’s eye twitched.
"Oh, so now you’re quiet? NOW you act innocent? You blasted pervert system... ANSWER ME!"
No reply.
"HELLO?! SYSTEM??!! I know you can hear me! Don’t pretend to be dead!"
Still nothing.
She slapped the water again, roses flying like they were abandoning a sinking ship.
"You damn coward! You only show up to ruin my life and disappear when I ask questions! If you think I’m going to mate with someone just like that, you’re wrong! Very wrong!"
Her voice echoed against the luxurious bathroom walls.
Silence.
"I refuse!" she declared proudly. "Absolutely refuse! No mating, no touching, no nothing! I am not that kind of female!"
She crossed her arms, refusing to bow to the system’s mission.
"If you think I’m going to mate someone just because you said so, you must be the one who needs therapy! You think I’m scared of death? Hah!"
She lifted her chin arrogantly.
"Then fine! Let me die. I am NOT afraid of dying!"
The system continued being nonexistent.
"Yeah, stay quiet," she continued, waving her hand. "I’ll die in exactly one day and twenty three hours. Poof, gone. And then YOU can deal with the end of the world! Because if I die, honestly, I don’t care. Let the villains burn everything! Blow it up! Destroy it! I won’t be here!"
Her voice dropped lower, smug.

The system still refused to respond.
She lounged back into the tub like a defiant mermaid queen.
"I’ll just enjoy my last two days. Eat, sleep, bathe, live like a goddess, and then boom, dead. You can go hire a new host. Preferably one who is into your weird villain centered pervert missions."
She took a sip of her juice with an exaggerated flourish.
"Cheers to death."
DING!
Yue Yue nearly threw the glass, just from how angry she was.
"Oh, NOW you return, huh?!"
The panel flickered back to life like a guilty husband returning home past midnight.
[Host, there is an alternative mission available.]
"Mhm. Sure. Go on," she replied smoothly, trying to keep her anger in check.

Yue Yue blinked... once... twice...
"...Two percent?" she repeated blankly. Maybe she could easily do it and it was far better than the mating quest.
