Chapter 217: Chapter 217: Four Men, One Table and Countless Intentions

After some time passed, Yue Yue heard a knock on her door. Before she could answer, the door slowly opened and Cang Yuze stepped inside. Behind him, several tiny robots floated in, carefully carrying plates filled with steaming dishes.

The robots quickly placed the food on the table, arranging everything neatly. In just a few moments, the small table was completely covered with different meals. The rich aroma instantly filled the entire room.

Cang Yuze gently held Yue Yue’s wrist and guided her toward the table.

"Come," he said with a small smile. "I cooked these for you. Try them and see if you like the taste."

Yue Yue looked at the table and froze.

There were so many dishes.

Fresh fish, crab, shrimp, soup, and even delicate desserts. The variety was so surprising that her eyes widened in disbelief.

She looked at Cang Yuze with an incredulous expression.

"Where did you get so many fresh ingredients?" she asked. "Everyone here usually eats nutritional solution."

Cang Yuze chuckled softly before explaining patiently.

"The imperial family of the Sea Empire has its own breeding farms. We raise fish and many types of marine life ourselves."

He leaned back slightly and added calmly.

"The Sea Empire is very wealthy. Getting pollution-free ingredients like these is not difficult for us."

Yue Yue nodded slowly, still amazed.

But suddenly a calm voice came from the doorway.

"But it still lacks the luxury of the Temple."

Everyone turned around; Feng Yanshen had appeared, leaning against the doorframe with a faint smile.

"You only eat fish here," he continued lazily. "The Temple has far more ingredients. We even have spiritual beasts. Their meat is very beneficial for Yue Yue’s health."

Yue Yue blinked in surprise.

Before he could continue talking, she quickly grabbed his sleeve and pulled him toward the chair.

"Then sit down and eat with me," she said.

"At least stop complaining while you eat."

Feng Yanshen’s lips curved into a smug smile as he sat beside her. He shot Cang Yuze a provocative glance.

The look clearly said: So what if you knew her first? Is she not worried more about me? Then he turned to Yue Yue and spoke shamelessly.

"Yue Yue, feed me."

Yue Yue froze for a second.

Seeing the teasing expression on his face, she quickly scooped some food with her spoon and fed him before he could say anything more sarcastic.

Feng Yanshen happily opened his mouth.

The moment he tasted it, his eyes curved into crescents.

Cang Yuze watched the scene and could only shake his head helplessly. He had never imagined that the dignified High Priest of the Temple could act so childish.

Just then the door opened again.

Han Soi and Xing Luoye had arrived after hearing the noise. They stopped for a moment when they saw the table full of food.

Yue Yue quickly waved at them.

"Come sit and eat too!"

Fortunately, Cang Yuze had prepared many dishes, so there was still plenty for everyone.

Still, the four men silently decided to eat less. They wanted Yue Yue to eat first and fill her stomach. They could just drink the nutritional solution.

Unfortunately, one person did not follow that rule. Feng Yanshen’s chopsticks never stopped moving.

He kept picking dishes, tasting everything, and making comments about every flavor. Yue Yue’s face slowly turned red with embarrassment.

Before he could make another remark, she quickly stuffed another bite of food into his mouth.

Feng Yanshen chewed happily and said shamelessly,

"Yue Yue, you should eat too. Don’t spoil me so much." He glanced at the other three men with a smug expression.

"Or others might get jealous."

The other three men were instantly irritated. They silently gripped their chopsticks tighter. Xing Luoye looked especially disgusted. ƒreewebɳovel.com

He barely paid attention to the food, eating only a little so Yue Yue would not feel sad.

Han Soi, meanwhile, was busy placing more food onto Yue Yue’s plate.

"You should eat more," he said softly.

Cang Yuze quietly cracked open a large crab leg beside her.

He carefully peeled the meat and placed it into her bowl. Yue Yue looked at the four men around the table and could only sigh before continuing eating.

The meal continued in a comfortable, albeit slightly competitive, silence. The only sound was the light clinking of chopsticks and Feng Yanshen’s occasional satisfied hums.

Yue Yue looked at the variety of dishes again and then at Xing Luoye, who was eating very little. She remembered the pain he had been carrying and the dark veins she had seen on his skin.

She turned her head toward Cang Yuze.

"Zeze," she said softly, catching his attention. "Can you make an antidote for the Poison of the Thousand Venom King Scorpion?"

The table went still. Cang Yuze stopped peeling the shrimp in his hand and looked up, his expression turning serious as his gaze shifted toward Xing Luoye.

Yue Yue didn’t wait for him to ask. She quickly explained the situation. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

"Xing Luoye was poisoned by it. He has been suffering for a long time," she said, her voice filled with concern.

"But your brother, Cang Yuzain, gave him a high-grade suppressant. That’s how he was able to safely arrive at the Sea Empire."

Cang Yuze remained quiet for a moment, observing the faint gray shadow beneath Xing Luoye’s eyes. As the ruler of the Sea Empire, he was well-versed in rare toxins and ancient cures.

"The King Scorpion’s venom is famous for being incurable in most parts of the galaxy," Cang Yuze said calmly. "But the Sea Empire has access to deep-sea herbs that can neutralize even the strongest toxins."

He looked back at Yue Yue’s hopeful face and finally nodded.

"I can make the antidote for him. It will take some time to refine the ingredients, but he will be fine."

Xing Luoye’s hand trembled slightly as he held his chopsticks. He looked away, trying to hide the flicker of relief in his eyes.
