She looked around again, and her breath caught in her throat.
The world around her was beautiful.
They were standing on a high landing platform. The spaceship rested on a wide, circular podium made of golden metal. The surface beneath their feet shone faintly, as if it was built from some kind of advanced alloy.
Curious, Yue Yue walked closer to the edge of the platform and looked down.
But she immediately stiffened.
There were no stairs.
Below them was a vast city, stretching endlessly in all directions. From above, it looked like a massive ant colony. Countless golden buildings were arranged in neat patterns, connected by glowing pathways.
Tall pillars and dome shaped structures rose from the ground like golden towers.
At first, it looked like the entire city was made for ants. But when she focused her eyes, she realized there were people walking below.
They just looked extremely small from this height.
"So high..." she whispered.
Just then, a soft humming sound approached.
A sleek hovering vehicle rose from below and stopped right in front of the platform. Its surface was smooth and metallic, with faint blue lights glowing along its edges.
The door slid open.
Xing Luoye stepped forward. "Let’s go. Get in."
He immediately entered the passenger seat at the front.
Xing Luoguang guided Yue Yue toward the back seat. He sat down beside her without saying a word.
The driver, a middle aged man, glanced back at them. His eyes lingered on Yue Yue for a moment. He then looked at Xing Luoye and made a small gesture toward her, as if asking a silent question.
Xing Luoye only rolled his eyes.
"Don’t ask too many questions."
The driver chuckled. "Understood."
The vehicle lifted smoothly into the air and moved forward.
As they traveled through the golden city, Yue Yue pressed her face close to the window, staring outside with wide eyes.
Everything looked incredible.
The buildings that had looked like small ant structures from above were now towering around them like golden mountains. The pillars were tall and elegant. The streets were clean and bright, filled with different kinds of vehicles and pedestrians.
The entire place looked advanced, organized, and strangely beautiful.
She had never seen a city like this before.
After a while, the vehicle slowed down and landed in front of a large manor.
The gates opened automatically, and the car glided into the courtyard.

From above, the pillars had seemed small and neat. But now, standing at ground level, they rose high into the sky like tall towers. The golden surfaces reflected the light, making the entire place look majestic.
She turned slowly, taking in the view.
It was truly beautiful.
Just as Yue Yue was still looking around the courtyard, a voice suddenly called out from behind.
She turned around.
Both brothers had already put on their outer robes again. The dark cloaks covered their bodies, and the hoods were pulled over their heads. This time, however, their faces were not hidden.
At that moment, the doors of the mansion opened, and someone hurried out.
It was an old lady.
Her hair was completely white, tied into a neat bun. Her clothes were simple but very clean. The moment she saw the two brothers, her face lit up with joy.
"Masters have returned!"
Xing Luoye, who was standing in front, immediately frowned.

Instead of asking more questions, she walked toward Yue Yue and gently took her hands.
"You beautiful girl, what’s your name?"
Yue Yue was slightly startled. The old lady’s voice was warm and kind. Her eyes were gentle, and her dark skin tone reminded Yue Yue a little of Xing Luoguang.
She smiled back.
"My name is Yue."
The old lady’s eyes brightened. "Yue? Such a lovely name. Your parents must have loved you very much to give you such a beautiful name."
Yue Yue beamed happily and nodded.
"Yes. My parents loved me a lot. That’s why they called me Moon."
The old lady laughed softly.
But from the front, Xing Luoye suddenly spoke.
"Your parents must have been blind to name such a strange female after the moon."

"What happened? This is the first time I’ve seen you two like this."
Normally, the brothers were like each other’s shadows. Their bond had always been strong. Seeing this kind of tension between them was unusual.
But after a moment, something seemed to click in her mind. A knowing smile slowly spread across her face.
She turned back to Yue Yue and gently patted her hand.
"Don’t mind him, young lady. Our young master is just like that. His mouth is sharp, but his heart is soft. Softer than a little lamb. He’s just a spoiled boy."
Then she led Yue Yue inside the mansion, showing her around.
The interior was grand but comfortable, filled with warm lighting and elegant golden decorations.
After a while, the old lady opened the door to a quiet room.
"You can stay here," she said kindly. "Rest well."
At that moment, Xing Luoguang appeared at the doorway. He glanced at the room, then at Yue Yue.
The old lady left them alone.
For a moment, Yue Yue looked at him quietly, as if expecting him to leave as well.
Her expression made it seem like she thought he was going to abandon her too.
Xing Luoguang paused.
Then he reached out and gently patted her head.
"Behave. Nothing will happen here. You’re safe."
After saying that, he turned and walked away.
Yue Yue stood there, stunned.
Why was she looking at him like that?
It wasn’t like she was afraid of staying alone.
After all, he was just as much of a stranger to her as the others. They had only known each other for a little more than a week.
