Chapter 155: Chapter 155: Arrival at the Secret Land

Two more days passed. ƒrēewebnovel.com

By the end of the second day, Yue Yue finally felt that the spaceship was about to land somewhere.

She had no idea how long they had been traveling through space or how far they had come. There was no sense of direction, no sunrise, no sunset, nothing familiar at all.

Even though the ship moved smoothly and she could not feel any shaking or turbulence, she still felt uncomfortable.

Being trapped inside a metallic box for so long was overwhelming.

She could not smell fresh air, could not see the sky, and could not feel the ground beneath her feet. It made her feel strangely nauseous, as if her body was rejecting the environment.

She wanted to go outside.

She wanted to stand on real land again.

The next day, while she was sitting quietly in the lounge area, Xing Luoguang suddenly walked toward her. Without saying anything, he took her hand.

"Come with me," he said.

Yue Yue blinked in confusion. "Where are we going?"

Xing Luoguang glanced behind her, as if checking something, before replying, "The spaceship is about to land. The landing sequence here is a bit uncomfortable, so you need to sit properly. Otherwise, you might get hurt."

With that, he gently pulled her along.

He led her into a cabin she had never entered before. It was located at the very front of the spaceship. Unlike the other rooms, this one was filled with glowing panels, floating holographic screens, and control consoles.

It was clearly the control cabin.

Yue Yue’s eyes widened in surprise.

It was her first time seeing a real window inside the ship. In front of the control seats, a wide transparent panel stretched across the entire front wall.

And beyond it was space. Endless, silent, dark space dotted with distant stars.

She stood there in a daze, staring at the vast universe outside. But then she noticed something else.

Another figure was already seated at the main control station.

Xing Luoye sat there calmly, his hands moving across the holographic panels. Streams of light and symbols reflected in his eyes as he adjusted the ship’s navigation.

Xing Luoye briefly glanced at her, his expression indifferent, then returned his focus to the controls.

Xing Luoguang guided Yue Yue to one of the seats beside the control area.

"Sit here," he said.

Before she could react, he pressed a few buttons. A restraint band automatically slid across her waist and shoulders, locking her securely into the seat.

Only after making sure she was properly buckled did he step back.

The lights in the cabin dimmed slightly. Several holographic displays lit up in front of Xing Luoye, showing complex symbols, star charts, and navigation data.

"Landing sequence initiated," a mechanical voice announced.

Yue Yue swallowed nervously.

Suddenly, a blinding white light burst in front of the ship. It filled the entire window, making her shut her eyes instinctively.

At the same time, the spaceship jolted violently.

Her entire body was pushed back into the seat. If not for the restraints, she felt like she would have been thrown forward.

The force was far stronger than anything she had experienced before.

Her heart pounded wildly.

Just as suddenly as it started, everything became calm again.

The light faded. The ship stopped shaking.

Yue Yue slowly opened her eyes. She was still breathing heavily, her hand pressed against her chest.

She turned toward the two brothers. "W-what was that? Why was it so jerky?"

It was her first time experiencing such a rough movement inside such an advanced spaceship. Before this, all the technology she had seen was smooth and almost silent.

This sudden impact felt completely out of place.

Xing Luoye continued adjusting the controls while answering calmly, "Don’t worry. It’s already over. That kind of turbulence only happens when entering or exiting this zone."

Yue Yue blinked. "Zone?"

But before she could ask more, something outside the window caught her attention.

She turned her head.

The endless darkness of space was gone.

In its place was a vast desert stretching as far as the eye could see. Endless waves of pale golden sand covered the ground. There was no vegetation, no buildings, nothing at all.

Just sand.

Yue Yue stared in shock.

"Where are we...?"

The spaceship slowly descended and settled on the sand.

But the moment it touched the ground, something strange happened.

The sand beneath the ship suddenly collapsed inward, as if it were liquid. The ground opened like a hidden hatch, swallowing the entire spaceship.

Yue Yue gasped.

The ship smoothly sank underground, surrounded by shifting sand on all sides. A moment later, the opening above them closed again, and everything returned to normal, as if nothing had ever been there.

She had just watched the entire desert swallow the spaceship whole.

Her eyes widened in disbelief.

She turned toward Xing Luoye. "Why are you even showing me this? Aren’t you afraid I’ll tell someone about your secret base?"

Xing Luoye let out a quiet snicker.

"If you can leave here alive," he said casually, "then go ahead and tell everyone."

Yue Yue’s expression froze.

What did he mean by that?

Was he really planning to kill her here?

Her fingers clenched nervously.

"It’s not like I will never go back?" she said, trying to sound calm. "Are you going to confine me here for the rest of my life?"

What she did not notice was Xing Luoguang’s hand resting beside him.

The moment he heard the words leave this place, his fingers suddenly tightened into a fist. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com

But he said nothing.

The spaceship finally came to a complete stop.

Inside the control cabin, the lights returned to normal...signaling that the landing sequence was over.

Yue Yue was still looking out of the window, trying to process everything she had just seen.

Xing Luoye glanced at his brother. He noticed the change in Xing Luoguang’s expression. The atmosphere between them became slightly heavier, as if some silent conversation had just passed through their eyes.

Xing Luoye’s expression hardened.

Without another word, he reached forward and unclasped the restraints around Yue Yue’s waist and shoulders. Then he grabbed her wrist.

"Get up, female. We’ve already landed. Are you planning to sit here forever?"

Before she could react, he pulled her up from the seat.

Yue Yue stumbled slightly, caught off guard by his sudden movement.

Behind them, Xing Luoguang stood up quietly and followed.

They stepped out of the control cabin and walked through the corridor. A few moments later, the hatch of the spaceship opened.

The moment Yue Yue stepped outside, she froze.

Her eyes widened in shock.

Just moments ago, she had clearly seen the entire spaceship swallowed by sand. But now, above her head was a clear sky. A soft golden light filled the surroundings, and the air felt warm and fresh.

She turned around.

Behind her stood the massive spaceship. Up close, it looked even more impressive than before. Its smooth metallic surface reflected the golden light of the surroundings. It was enormous.

No wonder it could travel such a long distance through space.

It had been almost a week since they left the temple. They must have crossed a huge distance across the stars.

That meant this place was very far away.
