"I...I thought there was something on your face," she said nervously. "So I was looking closely."
He didn’t reply. His cyan blue eyes stared at her calmly.
Clearly, he didn’t believe her at all. And he still didn’t remove his hand.
Yue Yue’s cheeks puffed slightly under his palm.
Why is this man so alert? She grumbled in her mind. So stingy. He won’t even allow a single kiss.

Just as she was thinking that, another voice sounded from behind them.

Yue Yue’s face turned red. The white-robed man walked closer, looking amused.
"If you’re that thirsty," he added lazily, "you can always come to me."
Yue Yue immediately stood up and brushed off her gown, as if she had done nothing wrong.
"I wasn’t doing anything!" she snapped. "I just thought there was something on his face."
She crossed her arms and glared at the white-robed twin. "Do you think I’m the kind of woman who would kiss a stranger’s cheek?"
Her voice was loud and full of confidence.
But inside...
She cringed. Because that was exactly what she had been trying to do.
The white-robed man raised a brow.
"Oh? Really?"

The white-robed man burst into laughter.

Then he walked past both of them and headed toward the corridor.

But he didn’t. He simply passed the kitchen entrance and continued walking down the corridor.
Yue Yue secretly let out a breath of relief.
The white-robed twin noticed her expression and smirked.
"You look very nervous," he said.
"I’m not," she replied quickly. He leaned closer to her face.
"You were really trying to kiss him, weren’t you?"
Yue Yue pushed his face away with her palm.
"Stop talking nonsense!"
He laughed again. "You’re interesting," he said. "Most people are scared of him. But you? You tried to kiss him the first time you saw his face."
Yue Yue turned her head away.
"I told you, I wasn’t trying to kiss him."
Inside, she was screaming.

But the system remained silent.
The white-robed man suddenly leaned closer and whispered,
