Chapter 90: Are You Raising Zombies?
Theodore took three steps back from the only door in the long hallway. He never thought he would smell such a foul odor from there; he couldn’t even imagine what was in the room that caused such a smell.
To be honest, Theodore was prejudiced; his worst thought was that there was a dead body in there. Considering that he couldn’t survive the stench, Theodore thought there was more than one corpse.
"What the hell is this place?!" Theodore was completely confused by what happened in that place.
Theodore had never thought that the Cataclysm Brotherhood would be this extreme. He thought they were just people who liked to cause trouble.
But it turned out that they were crazier than he thought. Theodore also considered the words of the two people whose conversations he listened to. Was the big brother they were referring to the one who did all these things?
Given that their leader was said to be in a critical condition. Theodore finally decided to re-enter the room.
However, Theodore first rolled both nostrils with the tissue he had rolled up before entering.
"This way, I won’t die from the stench!" Theodore was proud of his idea.
After completing his preparations to enter the room, Theodore touched the doorknob again. With his heart pounding, he slowly turned the doorknob and pushed it open.
Although his nose could smell a slight trace of the foul odor, Theodore could still endure it.
Because he feared something was threatening his life there, Theodore immediately summoned his sword, which was a lot in his sacred dimension.
Not only was the room dimly lit, but Theodore also tried to find the light switch, but he never found it.
Theodore also walked forward while holding on to the wall beside him because he could not see clearly in the room. Then, as Theodore walked, his steps stopped when he felt his feet being blocked by something.
Fortunately, Theodore walked slowly. If he had walked in a hurry, he was sure he would have fallen on the floor by now.
Curious about what was blocking his way, Theodore lowered his head and was surprised to see a rotten human body there.
It was so shocking that Theodore couldn’t even react now, even though he was used to killing zombies that looked so horrible. But, to be honest, Theodore wasn’t used to seeing decaying human corpses like this.
Moreover, Theodore could see that the side of the corpse’s face was missing, and it looked like it was a bite mark. Theodore’s whole body immediately shuddered when he thought of a possibility in his head.
"No way," Theodore said with a pale face.
At the same time, Theodore heard a growling sound from the front. Theodore realized that this room was quite large, about the size of a large hall often used for conferences. freёweɓnovel.com
Theodore was feeling very restless, especially since he couldn’t find the light switch he had been looking for, so he asked the system for help.
"System, can you help me turn on the lights in this room?" It was clear from his voice that Theodore was anxious at the moment.
What made Theodore anxious was that he had no idea what or who he was dealing with right now. Theodore was never afraid or hesitant when fighting zombies because he knew that they were zombies.
However, at the moment Theodore really didn’t know what kind of creature he was facing in this room.
After a while, the lights in the room finally came on in sequence, starting with the lamp near the door and slowly moving to the other end of the room.
At that moment, Theodore’s face really turned pale; he. He could see how messy this room was. The wall paint, which was initially cream-colored, had changed to red blood mixed with black blood typical of zombies.
"This is really crazy!" The nausea inside Theodore immediately flared up. He couldn’t help but spit out his entire dinner earlier.
This entire room was filled with human corpses whose bodies were no longer intact; as he had seen before, the corpses looked like they had been eaten by someone.
And now Theodore knew who was the culprit of the bite marks on the corpses in this room. Theodore could see many zombies in chains at the end of the room.
However, the zombies’ form did not entirely resemble zombies. For some reason, Theodore thought the creatures he thought were zombies had not wholly transformed into zombies.
Theodore dared not approach the group of chained zombies, afraid of something uncertain like this. The only solution Theodore could think of at the moment was to report what he saw to Victor.
Theodore couldn’t solve this problem alone; this case was more dangerous than he had thought. Theodore suspected that this group was causing so much trouble and killing people randomly to provide food for the zombies chained here.
"Victor won’t believe what I’m seeing right now if I don’t have solid evidence," Theodore muttered, realizing that he had to bring evidence if he wanted to report this to Victor. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
Under such bad circumstances, Theodore’s brain couldn’t work properly, so he could only think of using his cell phone to take videos and photos of this room.
Theodore quickly summoned his cell phone from the sacred dimension. Since the items inside the sacred dimension were not affected by time, he didn’t have to worry about his cell phone battery.
Because he was sick of being in that room, Theodore quickly gathered evidence that he could give to Victor as evidence.
For that, Theodore was forced to approach the chained zombies, although he did not dare get too close to them.
After thinking he had enough evidence, Theodore immediately threw his cell phone into the sacred dimension again.
Theodore didn’t want to spend more time in the room, so he hurried to leave. It’s just that when Theodore had just come out of there, he saw someone walking in the long hallway.
The person who had just arrived was shocked when he saw Theodore. He could immediately conclude that Theodore was an intruder. He could see it from the clothes Theodore was wearing.
"Th-there’s an intruder!" The person immediately shouted and rushed to press the red button in the middle of the long hallway.
