Chapter 125: I Let You Know
Theodore exited the sacred dimension when the system alerted him that someone was approaching his car. He had to return with a heavy heart, and he let out a rough sigh when he found himself in the back of his car.
Not immediately leaving the car, Theodore stayed inside, trying to close his eyes again because he was still sleepy; the person approaching his vehicle had not come yet.
"Brother Theo! Are you awake? Brother Cassian is looking for you." Geoffrey’s voice came from outside, and he knocked on the car door to wake Theodore up.
Geoffrey did not see any reaction from Theodore, so he began to move closer to the window, trying to look inside the car for Theodore, who was nowhere to be seen.
Once again, Geoffrey tapped on the window to wake Theodore up. And what was Geoffrey’s surprise when the window suddenly moved down and revealed Theodore’s face, who was rubbing his eyes.
"Why are you making so much noise!" Theodore furrowed his brow while glaring at Geoffrey, who still looked surprised.
"You should get back. The others are waiting for you. Brother Cassian said we’ll move to the 3rd floor," Geoffrey explained while explaining the current state of their group.
"Huh? Isn’t there still a lot of stuff to move?" Theodore was confused as to why Cassian suddenly ordered them to go to the 3rd floor when there were still many items on the 2nd floor that had yet to be moved.
Geoffrey shook his head. Apparently,. Theodore didn’t realize how long he had been asleep this time. But it was only natural because Geoffrey guessed that Theodore must be very tired after what he had done all day yesterday.
"It’s already afternoon, almost night. Brother Cassian has gotten better and decided to help with the moving; now it’s just mine and Roxanne’s stuff that hasn’t been done yet," Geoffrey said, glancing at Theodore sharply.
Realizing that he had disappeared for so long, Theodore laughed awkwardly. It seemed like it was time for him to go out and do his job.
"Don’t worry, I’ll take care of your things." Theodore then pushed the car door so he could get out.
When Geoffrey saw that, he secretly glanced inside the car to see if Theodore had stored his precious belongings properly. Strangely, he did not see any of the jackets or blankets he had collected earlier in the car.
"Brother Theo, where are the jackets and blankets I collected earlier? Didn’t you keep them in the car?" Geoffrey looked at Theodore anxiously, worried that someone else had stolen his belongings.
"I didn’t keep them in the car. It wouldn’t fit if I kept them there," Theodore said casually, not noticing how worried Geoffrey was.
"Then, where did you keep it? I won’t be at ease if you don’t show it to me," Geoffrey replied, shaking Theodore’s body with a worried face.
Hearing that, Theodore thought there was no way he could show Geoffrey where he kept those things. However, he realized this boy would continue bothering him if Theodore didn’t do something.
The problem was that Theodore would have to expose the existence of the sacred dimension if he told Geoffrey where he had thrown the items he had collected.
"Why you not answer me?!" Geoffrey was still shaking Theodore’s silent body, his worries rising.
Theodore was in a dilemma right now. Should he tell Geoffrey about this big secret?
"Before that, I have to make sure first. Can you keep the secret?" Theodore released himself from Geoffrey’s shock and looked at him thoughtfully.
"What do you mean by keeping secrets?" Geoffrey was even confused when Theodore asked him something strange like that.
Geoffrey wondered where Theodore had hidden their things to ask him to keep a secret like this.
"Just answer my question. Everything depends on your answer," Theodore said then.
Before answering that question, Geoffrey gulped harshly. For some reason, he felt quite pressured to answer Theodore’s question.
Geoffrey would not reveal any secrets that Theodore told him; if he said he should not say something, he would obey without a second thought.
It was just that Geoffrey was worried about his mouth and sometimes liked to speak before his head finished thinking, so he doubted himself a little.
"I’ve always trusted and followed you, so why would I intentionally divulge your secrets to others," Geoffrey finally said after being silent.
"This kind of thing is inevitable." Theodore sighed tiredly, finally deciding to tell Geoffrey about his big secret. freēwēbηovel.c૦m
However, as Chelsea knew, Theodore would only tell Geoffrey that he could insert and remove items from his hands.
Theodore then showed Geoffrey a little of his power by summoning one of the jackets the boy had collected from the sacred dimension.
Geoffrey, who saw a thick jacket suddenly appear in Theodore’s hand, became very surprised, so surprised that he even fell backwards, his eyes bulging in disbelief.
"What the hell is that, brother?" Geoffrey shouted in disbelief but quickly glanced around and covered his mouth so no one would hear his voice.
"Don’t you want to know where I keep all your stuff? I keep them on my body," Theodore explained, returning the jacket to the sacred dimension.
A few times, Theodore summoned an item from the sacred dimension and eliminated it, but he did so to make Geoffrey not question this anymore.
Although Geoffrey was still surprised by Theodore’s power, he could finally understand why he had previously said he could collect as many items as he wanted.
After solving the item problem, Theodore and Geoffrey returned to the 2nd floor to gather with the others, but this time, Geoffrey’s face was pale, and his gaze looked blank.
Almost all members of Cassian’s group knew Geoffrey well, so they looked surprised when they saw Geoffrey’s face as if someone had seen a ghost.
Theodore went over to Cassian and left Geoffrey alone. The others began to approach Geoffrey to ask what happened to him.
Meanwhile, Theodore confirmed the news from Geoffrey to Cassian, who was looking better today.
"Have you decided to attack the 3rd floor?" Theodore also confirmed this to Cassian.
"Yes, we’ve spent too long in this place. There are still other places we should visit on this trip," Cassian explained seriously because. Because of his injuries, they wasted more time in this place.
Cassian intended to attack the 3rd floor today and the 4th floor the next day. They had already wasted too much time in this place.
"Right, then you can leave the 4th floor to me." Theodore also proposed to go to the 4th floor himself.
"No need for that. Today, we will attack the 3rd floor; tomorrow, you and some people from my group can directly attack the 4th floor; I and the rest will take care of the stuff on the 3rd floor." Cassian then explained his plan.
Seeing that Theodore didn’t mind being sent to the 4th floor, Cassian immediately took the opportunity to send Theodore and half of his group to the 4th floor so they could save time.
