Chapter 17: Saga 17— Ok...Ok I Agree The Water Makes My Cock Hard
The race to the reserved apartment was brutal, as it was short, with neither side willing to give up (P.S: it was just Harriden and Claire). To their absolute shock, all the rooms were evenly sized. Claire was absolutely stunned; she couldn’t even catch her breath. All that running just to find out that there was no master bedroom. She was totally shattered.
Harriden’s situation was far worse; he couldn’t even utter a single word, as if all his life had been drained from his body. He found the nearest room and fell onto the bed.
"Claire, you forgot your stuff. Here you go!" Yuki dropped Claire’s truckload of stuff at her side. Claire looked as if she was hit by a truck; her left eye twitched abnormally. Yuki paid her no mind. He wasn’t one to console someone.
He found his way to the last room and banged the door behind him. Claire stood still until Sylvia took her to the room opposite hers. Kael simply watched all these dramas unfold and told himself, ’Not my problem.’
A few hours later, a loud bell rang, echoing throughout the entire Sumbiya Hot Springs. It signified that the hot springs were open for service. Unlike other hot springs, the Sumbiya Hot Springs was an entire town on its own; therefore, the hot springs weren’t its only activity or attraction—just the main attraction.
On that note, they had times in which the hot springs were open to all and when they were not. During hot spring hours, all workers, residents, and tourists were granted access to use the bathtubs by the Master of Sumbiya.
What would happen if one were to use the hot springs outside of hot spring hours? The answer was simple for tourists: they would be thrown out and never allowed into the Sumbiya Hot Springs ever again, including those related to them, such as family and friends.... It was that goddamn serious.
For residents, this was where it started to get harsh. They would be banished from the hot springs for life and stripped of all their assets except the clothes on their bodies. Those who lived in the hot springs were mostly people who were finding it hard to fend for themselves in the outside world, so the Master took them in.
And for the staff, a death sentence. They were to be decapitated on the spot, with no allowance for pleas or begging. Their remaining relatives would have to pay Sumbiya all the earnings of the staff member in less than a year’s time, or they would all get killed like lambs to the slaughter.
These consequences made some piss their pants at night, while they gave others daily jitters. No one would dare break the rules for the sake of themselves and their families, and so that’s how order had been maintained in the Sumbiya Hot Springs for years.
Kael and the student council leaders made their way to their separate gender-based bathtubs. Kael, Harriden, and Yuki went to the boys’ hot tub, while Sylvia and Claire entered the girls’ bath.
The instant Kael took a dip, he felt unparalleled bliss spreading throughout his entire being.
’This feels so nice.’ He took a deep breath and fully relaxed himself in the water. Unbeknownst to him, his little brother between his legs had turned rock-solid hard. Luckily for him, no one noticed.
"Yo! Kael," Harriden called out to him by his actual name ever since their first eventful encounter.
"Can you really save Sylvia?" Harriden’s eyes were filled with worry.
"I can. So far, the appropriate conditions are met," Kael replied.
"I know what you might be thinking, or what you may have been thinking—"
"That I like Sylvia?" Kael froze for a second to hear what Harriden was saying properly. Well, quite frankly, that was the expression he had been giving Kael all this while.
"Well, I don’t. She’s the reason that I am here today—she’s my childhood friend whom I would never trade even for the world." Harriden’s words were filled with intense emotion. Now Kael got a handle on why he had been so overprotective of her.
The boys dipped in the hot tub together for a while. Yuki was teasing Harriden for being so open to someone he had considered a stranger just a few days ago. Then again, Kael did know how to grow on people in both good and bad ways.
In the girls’ bath, Sylvia and Claire were also having their own heartfelt talk.
"I know how you feel about relationships or guys in general, but as your sister and bestie, I suggest you play along and give this a try. I don’t want to lose you. Hell, I’m not ready to lose you. I am still looking for alternatives, and Yuki has assessed him, so everything he said wasn’t a lie." Claire held Sylvia’s hand. She saw Sylvia as more than a friend or best friend; she saw her as a sister.
Given the distance between her and her actual family, Sylvia and the other student council leaders felt like her family.
"Thank you for always being there for me, Claire—"
"I’ll take your hot-headed advice a million times over again. Let’s see where this goes." Sylvia’s lips curled into a bright smile.
A green ball of light appeared across all the baths.
"Hello, students," Professor Adian’s voice carried.
"Can’t you try to be a bit formal for once?" Professor Stillwell’s voice echoed from the background. As usual, she was scolding Adian for his carefree attitude.
"Ahem—" Adian scoffed.
"The Master of Sumbiya would like to address all of you in the Dining Hall—"
"In case you don’t know where that is, please follow the arrows—"
"Also, hurry up!" Adian’s voice faded as the floating cluster of green light dissolved into arrows that pointed straight to the Dining Hall.
The name ’Dining Hall’ insisted there would be food, so most of the famished students didn’t waste any time finding their way there. The Dining Hall was huge. It resembled a traditional palace hall. The inside was plastered with finely carved wood. A long table extended from a few meters away from the entrance to the end of the hall.
As expected, different varieties of cuisine were strategically placed on the long table. The students numbered a total of forty, plus the two professors, the Sumbiya Master’s secretary, and the Master himself; there were a total of forty-four floor cushions.
The students came into the Dining Hall one after the other in pairs and groups. When all the cushions were filled, the door behind them was shut by the attendants.
The other door at the far end opened shortly after. A middle-aged man with spectacles, wearing a black yukata and white tabi socks, entered. He possessed brown eyes and silky, dark, lustrous hair. The features he embodied were the type that made girls go crazy at a glance.
He strode in with a calm-looking lady with pristine skin, crimson-red eyes, and white hair wrapped into a bun on her head. She wore a white kimono with pink flower embroidery. Her front and back were fairly large, but the main point of attraction was her beautifully shaped face.
"It’s good to see you again, Minato and Sayuri," Adian rose and bent his small figure slightly.
"Is that the Dragon Slayer, Minato, and the Dance of Death, Sayuri?!" A student gawked.
