Chapter 2: Start Of The Day

"Ugh!" I groaned hearing ringing that seemed to stab straight into my skull.
My hand reached out to my side and clumsily turned off my alarm after a few tries. My eyes stayed closed the entire time until i finally opened them, I was instantly greeted by sunshine that was filtered in through the closed curtains of my window. The bright glare made me wince in agony before I quickly turned my body and proceeded to stuff my head into the fluffy pillow below.

I had barely fallen back asleep when I heard the stabbing sound in my ears once again. I held back a grown and reached over toward my nightstand. It took even shorter for me to turn it off this time, Yet before I even had the chance to put my head back into my pillow ringing sounded out for the third time in a row.

’Why do I have to know myself so well’ I let out a sigh and finally pushed myself out of my warm and cozy bed.
I definitely wasn’t a morning person which is why I made sure to set multiple alarms every school day. If I didn’t then I knew that I would one hundred percent fall back asleep. It had happened more than once so I wasn’t just exaggerating like most. I found out that two alarms was two few and anything more than three was good enough to force me to wake up.
"Monday’s are the worst" I muttered softly as I stood and made my way to the closet.
I definitely wasn’t in the mood to wear anything over the top so I just grabbed a pair of jeans and a white hoodie. It didn’t take me long to get dressed and when I did I noticed from the clock on my wall that it was already around seven o’clock. I buckled my belt while walking back toward my messed up bed and grabbing my phone, When I opened it a smile popped up onto my face seeing a single message.
[Charlotte:Good morning ;)]
’Good morning texts always make me feel better’ I felt the gloom of Monday go away just a little bit at the message.
[Aidan:Good morning]
I quickly texted back with no care that I was waisting time needed to get ready for school.
Charlotte was much more important than such little things.
She was my first girlfriend.
We met each other at the end of the last school year and had quickly gotten close. She was cold at first but once I got to know her I realized that she wasn’t as mean as others thought. What started off as friendship turned into something a little more intimate, In fact it was Charlotte who had confessed to me a more than half a year ago.
I was definitely in love with her.
She was perfect in every way.
If I had one thing to complain about it would be that she was very modest when it came to the deeper aspects of relationships. Kissing was fine and so was light rubbing over the shirt but whenever I tried to go further than that it would be stopped. Now don’t call me a bad boyfriend or anything, I was fine with waiting until she was ready but as a guy of course I couldn’t help the urge to want to do other things with the girl I was dating.

[Charlotte:Stop spacing out and get ready for school]
[Charlotte:We have a test in math]
’....How’
I looked over my shoulder a couple times bewildered. I wondered if she had bugged my room and had seen me lost in thought. The fact she had known what I was doing across a phone screen made me feel fear toward a woman’s intuition. It also made me smile a little bit at the idea that Charlotte knew me so well.

I replied back and put my phone into my pocket before grabbing everything I needed. I shoved what I didn’t want to carry into my backpack and opened the curtains letting sun light fully into my room. The view of a large city appeared through the glass, I was currently on the ninth floor which meant I was partially looking down on most of the city. I could see skyscrapers in the distance and cars going back and forth on the street below, Not to mention the occasional young man or woman with backpacks
