Chapter 193: Say it
Here’s the text with only Vacuus changed to Azaroth and nothing else altered:
It didn’t take long for all the Initiate level Awakeners to be killed and any resisting warriors as well. By evening the village is already back to normal.
As normal as it could be with mounted strange warriors patrolling the streets and Oakhaven’s own warriors gathered in front of the previous Village head.
Azaroth didn’t waste his time and instead send Stallus to give the same condition to them, surrender and serve a new master or die. The choices weren’t difficult to make, they only followed the previous head because he can protect them with his other Initiate.
And even if they are teenagers, so what? They have seen the power they can use. Blac was in charge of sorting the warriors and the next few days was used for that.
He mixed the warriors from the other two villagers and sent some back to the fruit Village or Larkspur, while he recalled some so that right now there’s a mixture of the three village warriors in the standard warrior band that follows Azaroth.

With Stallus as strategic leader they use the rest of the week to create an information line with Larkspur and fruit Village so food and other resources can be passed from one point to the other and also to be able to summon more warriors if need be.
But none of the four actually think they will need the warriors for anything except for meat shield because what they couldn’t deal with themselves then how will the warriors be able to deal with it? freёwebnoѵel.com
The next week they gathered in the hall of the former Village head, just the four of them to talk about their next plan of action in this mission given to them by the Crypt Master.
The hall is big and decorated with different arts made of wood, the center table and chairs are made of light but durable black wood and the team sat around it with Azaroth at the head.
Catena had cooked some small snacks by using the wheat found in the village and now each of them have a plate in front of them.
Azaroth own is still untouched as he wait for them to speak.
Alex narrowed his eyes as he crunched on the snacks and said. "There’s something I don’t like. Why do we make Blac our representative? Almost all the orders are passed through him and you leave him to make all the important decisions like choosing heads for the villages."
Azaroth expression didn’t change as he asked. "Impossible?"
Stallus shrugged. "Alex, have you forgotten why we are here? This is just a mission. We are now warlords, we just need to be at the top and rule it all. We don’t need to concern ourselves with things like actually ruling them. The day to day stuff."
She continued with a small, cold smile. "Besides we can just kill them if they try anything."
Alex still isn’t satisfied though. "We might up in a mission but this is really bad if they turn on us. And who knows how Blac might betray us? If the small fries are numerous enough they might pull us down."
Stallus frowned thoughtfully. "What do you say Catena? This is just a month and two weeks of our time here and I agree that a lot might still happen before the one year expires."
Catena stopped eating and blinked, then he swallowed what’s in his mouth before speaking. "I think I’m leaning a bit towards what Alex said. We don’t have to leave all the decisions to Blac as our representative or what. Basically, we should stop the way we lean towards him in matters like this. Maybe we should just let him the leader of the warriors that he his?"
Alex jumped up and pumped his hands in the hair, grinning. "I don’t know you can think with all that sleep and food, Catena!"
Catena pretended to be offended but he gave up and began to eat again, shrugged and flicking Alex off.
Stallus sighed and turned to Azaroth. "What do you think?"
Azaroth narrowed his eyes and process everything, his red eyes like a pool of blood. He said calmly. "What you said is the truth. Blac was important in the fruit Village but now that we are taking the center stage we must know why he’s even in the fruit Village to begin with."
Stallus nodded. "He’s powerful, a proper Initiate level Awakener and he’s a sly bastard."
"Stallus you should take a look at how the next administration should be set up. We need someone that already knows this village, not just anyone from another village," Azaroth said and continued. "Maybe we won’t kill or there Initiate level next time or even their village head."
Alex nodded in satisfaction. "We shouldn’t put too much of a barrier between us. We need to make sure we can give orders to them on our own. So we’ll have something to fall back on in case of anything going wrong."
Azaroth looked at Alex. "You have a plan. Say it."
Alex smirked and shrugged. "Nothing gets by you unnoticed, Azaroth. Very well. I think you should create some kind of Captains within the warriors just three, while Blac is still the leader then you can split them into three groups. This will create differences between them."
He continues, his dark eyes shining. "When we do some fighting then you can note the way each squad contributed and reward the accordingly."
Azaroth looked at Alex and he nodded but inside he was a bit surprised. He had almost forgotten that he held suspicious about Alex and his true identity as a spy. He had wanted to kill him off sometimes ago back in the real world. Alex always pretend like an idiot but he’s just as smart as the rest of them and his schemes also shone through.
Stallus laughed even though she was feeling the same way as Azaroth thought. "The is going to be interesting for sure!"
